Not to be vulnerable on main but like. Every single aspect of growing up has terrified me. Drivers ed, getting a license, my first job, going to college, knowing eventually I’ll probably have to start dating, these all have made my stomach just feel like it was full of lead. Every single milestone has been met with tears and tears and a desperate wish that time could just stop in place until I feel more ready.

But the idea of having my own apartment, of moving in with a friend and having my very own place to decorate and confidently say is *my* home, that I work for and pay for (with roomates of course) makes me so genuinely happy and excited. I want that so much, I’m looking forwards to that being true for me. And it’s just really nice to finally have one big step in life that I feel like I’m looking forward to instead of dreading.

Today I learned the term Kuudere...

When I say Vesper is a tsundere I mean it in the OG way. He’s a cold/aloof sometimes irritable character who secretly has a soft side. He’s got a big heart and lots of emotions, but he struggles to express them. I don’t mean it in the new anime trope where the character is hot-and-cold and inconsistent about their feelings, and I definitely don’t mean it in the way where the character bullies their crush.

People are always like "I can't make this AU/fic/drawing because someone else has already done something with that concept" as if the creator of that work didn't make it because they wished somebody else had

OC Road trip roles -Pansa: The one who carefully plans out the trip and books the hotels, keeps everyone on track. Doesn't pay attention to what anything costs because he plans to just cover the expenses anyways, makes sure everyone is able to have a good time, but frequently forgets that not everyone's social battery is as strong as his. Often halts the group by talking to strangers about the trip they're all on. Trying very hard to keep Vesper slept and hydrated.

-Dawson: The one who makes sure to actually pack car snacks, drinks, sunscreen, activities, etc. Checks where all of the rest stops are along the route each day and gives everyone a heads up when they're coming up on the next stop for a long stretch. Anxious because he can tell SOME people on the trip are getting very tired of being on the trip, and OTHER people are getting very tired of that person being a grump about the trip.

-Beyett: Goofball go-with-the-flow person! She's the one pointing out all the dumb roadside attractions they should shop at and insisting they all get the cheesiest ever matching souvenirs. It's full irony but she is getting genuine joy from it, particularly when everyone rolls their eyes and then does it for her anyways. Keeps the mood up when things get stressful, somehow always manages to perfectly arrange all their luggage so it fits despite the fact that they keep gaining new items. Getting very sick of a certain someone being constantly grumpy about the trip. Backup driver for when the main driver needs to sleep.

-Vesper: The Main Driver. He only agrees to come on this trip under the condition that he do all of the driving. In charge of the stereo, not just because he's driving but because he has the best playlist and he knows that. Makes sure the car stays at a good volume and temperature, triple checks that everything about the car (gas, oil, etc) are ready to go before the trip. Complains endlessly about how many roadside attractions they're stopping at, yet always pulls off to go park at the attraction. Forced to let Jala drive occasionally so he can sleep and have something to drink. Finds the trip overwhelming and is grumpy about it but is sticking it out because he likes his friends.
