I do love how Alan is constantly the lamest person in both Alan Wake games. Man had to write a competent woman into his story as the hero to fix things. His wife guided him every step through the Dark Place because she knew he’d need it. His own character of his best-selling novels (who isn't even really his character) thinks he’s annoying. Man is upstaged by two old rockers in a nursing home and a local town waitress.
He looks like a sad wet cat through the entire game.
