whatever you do, DO NOT go to the letterboxd page and read the reviews of that one very mid movie that you have a inexplicably deep and unshakable sentimental attachment to that you watched hundreds of time as a kid/teen. you will regret it.

idk if they’ll do it for you but lately shows I’ve watched to the end are The Righteous Gemstones, Only Murders in the Building and What we do in the Shadows but that one is more like a sitcom, the first two have more mysterious stories and whatnot

I got into Vice Principals cuz of The Righteous Gemstones too but it’s not quite as good, the righteous gemstones definitely did The Thing for me though I couldn’t not recommend it and I hope if you haven’t seen any of these that you’ll enjoy them!

ooooooh yeah i saw a clip from the righteous gemstones on tiktok and was VERY intrigued. i think i should start with that one, it seems like it might be very up my alley. ty!!

My mom wanted me to suggest Ozark and perhaps The Walking Dead if you haven’t seen those too!!

ahh i did start watching ozark in like 2021 after i finished breaking bad and i was actually really enjoying it but i stopped watching after season 2 i think for some reason idr and it’s just been hard to motivate myself to finish it.

the walking dead though, i may finally have to check that out. i’m actually kinda surprised i’ve gone this long without watching it. thanks for the rec!

what was the last show you were obsessed with and what are your favourites?

the last show that had me REALLY obsessed was probably how to get away with murder. love stuff with lots of twists and turns like that. fave of all time is the good place. also love the white lotus, fleabag, the umbrella academy, breaking bad/better call saul. i really like stuff that's a good combination of drama and comedy.

i neeeeeeeed to get obsessed with a new show asap. it's been soooo long since i watched a show that was able to grip me that hard. i keep starting shows and quitting them after a few episodes cause they just don't hit. every now and then i find one that's at least interesting enough for me to finish it, but none of them have done The Thing. i want one that'll consume my every thought and make me insane. any suggestions?
