last year’s Long Serious Fic was about religious taboos and societal taboos intermingling and influencing each other — and, depending on the context, being more flexible than you were told as a child. this year’s Long Serious Fic is going to be either an examination of ontological, irredeemable evil as a concept or a cautionary tale about why exactly sometimes you SHOULDN’T try and rekindle past relationships and the voices that tell you that you should are the voices of demons from hell
