The Clocktower - A Reshade 3.0 Preset for TS4!

This is basically the lovechild of my Mountain Music and Silent Hill presets. A little noisier, spicier, and more dramatic than Mountain Music, but not as…Silent Hill-y as Silent Hill. Hope you like it!

Important Things to Note:

-This was made using Reshade 3.0.8, and I highly recommend you use Reshade 3.0! I can’t guarantee this will work the same with other versions, though some of my followers have told me presets are compatible with the later versions of Reshade beyond 3.1

-To install, be sure to drop the file here:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin

-Click here for a handy guide on installing Reshade if you’re new to it!

-You need to have edge smoothing and post-processing effects turned off for the DOF effect to work.

-Screenshots must be taken with the ‘print screen’ key, and will populate in the same location you installed the preset in.

-This reshade is made for taking cinematic screenshots, and not super suitable for gameplay.

-DOF can be toggled on and off with Caps Lock.

HAZY DAYS AND BLUEBERRYADE – a ReShade preset by amoebae

I caved under pressure and bring you the ReShade preset I’ve been using for a while now. This will not enhance your gameplay. This has been created for screenshots.

98% of you will not like it.

Of the 2% who do, 96% of you will hate the fog effect.

Of the remaining whateverpercent, 87% of you will be annoyed with the work it takes to use.

103% of you will think I’m a terrible person.

I make no apologies for its awkwardness – I created this in conjunction with my high tolerance for Doing What It Takes To Get The Shot.

I will provide what support I can, but because of the preset’s hands-on approach I recommend at least a cursory understanding of ReShade (preferably version 3.0) to avoid frustration. Any general ReShade questions I can’t answer can be researched over at the ReShade forum. Please check my ReShade FAQ tag because it’s incredibly likely I’ve answered your question before (unless directly related to HDaB effects).

Included in the download are:

Hazy Days and Blueberryade preset ini

Assorted additional shaders either not available in the main ReShade download from github, or modified by me

Installation instructions  (including important information on how to properly set up the MXAO shader)

Reshade preset

(created with Reshade 3.0.7)

This preset reduces the blueish tone of the base game. It also adds a harder lightning (stronger highlights and shadows), intensifies the shadows thrown by objects and also adds a depth of field (DOF) effect. Edge smoothing and sharpening are also included.

This is one of my first tries. If any of you have suggestions to improve the preset, feel free to tell me about them!

golden days - a preset for reshade 3.0

here’s another preset for you guys ^_^ unlike the previous one this preset is heavy with dof and whatnot so i wouldn’t suggest using it for anything but taking sreenshots :c it’s rather glowy and may seem a bit dark. i tried to make it look cinematic-y so it has 3d and grain effects but it’s on toggle so you can turn it off  

INSTRUCTIONS

Download Reshade 3.0 from here (I strongly recommend using this preset with Reshade 3.0 only).

Follow @gabreux​‘s guide to install Reshade.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin (or wherever your game is installed) and place the preset ([AS] golden days preset.ini file) that you are going to download.

Run the game and make sure you have turned off edge-smoothing and post-processing effects in options. This is important for the preset to work properly.

Once in-game press Shift+F2 and choose my preset.

consequences - a ts4 preset for reshade 3.0

another reshade preset for y’all :o) suggested by @cyberqueen-13, this is based off of the overall aesthetic of one of my favorite games, life is strange, so it’s a bit softer and a little more cartoony than my previous ones (literally, the cartoon shader is enabled).

lot used in preview: art district n9 by @ichosim (100/10 recommend)

do not use this preset for gameplay! it’s very DOF heavy and using it for anything other than screenshots may cause your game to crash! :o(

TOGGLE KEYS:

ring DOF - caps lock

matso DOF - shift + 1

ambient light - L

prismatic - a ts4 preset for reshade 3.0

because i cannot be stopped, i made yet another reshade preset for y’all. it was inspired by a pastel-based aesthetic, or kind of like if soft dreams and heart swells had a baby and gave it a chromatic aberration DOF.

previews are starring me and @cat-bleps bein in love w/ each other and the one & only miyako senpai hehe :3c
