   Last days were never too remarkable class wise, students were always too eager to pack and go home while teachers were just glad to be done with work for the year. Timothy was no exception, and as such he barely bothered with the last assigned potions class - a brief reunion with his students to announce the grades.

   He waited for the students to walk in the cramped spacious stone-walled room, decorated with several shelves and cabinets that contained vials and ingredients of all sorts. Some sat down and some were too at loss of what to do since Timothy was uncharacteristically sitting by his desk instead of standing by it.

   “ Good morning students, ” he greeted after the classroom held most of his students. “ I wish not to hold you back from going on with your life as it’s the last day and you evidently have a lot more to get to, for that exact reason i decided to spare you some time and simply have your grades up on the board. ” he made a small gesture to the grid drawn on the board with a polite smile. “ You all did quite well, must admit. With this said.... I hope you have a lovely summer. ”

❝ Hey timster! ❞ Joshua sprints in order to get to the professor, amicably patting him on the back. ❝ So, I was thinking, now that the school year is over, how about you buy some of your favourite students a drink? It would be a fun time. Think about it ❞

   Timster. The nickname itself could only mean Joshua was up to test his patience, again, he just knew it was him. He didn’t even need to turn his head to figure that out. 

   “ Just because it’s the last day of school that doesn’t mean I am ok with this sudden downgrade of the way you address me, ” he knew that speech was useless, the hufflepuff boy would end up graduating from Hogwarts and would still call him the first thing that would come to mind. At this point the scolding it went by as some sort of greeting. 

   “ But that isn’t a completely horrible idea. I just hope you aren’t including yourself in the list of my favourite students, mister Yu. ” Not that the boy was on his black list either, he had showed determination to keep his grade up, which was something Timothy valued. It was just a matter of Timothy not being able to keep himself from retorting in the same level as his student, the two were far too used to poking each other like this to even be remotely offended anyway.

   Quite the fan of it. He’s one to actually be demonstrative of his feelings via physical contact, like.. hugging often, holding hands, all the stuff, when words don’t exactly cut it.

I think i can best answer this with what is written down on his natal chart report:   — " He is amorous, not a peaceful and calm lover but a passionate one with a strong temperament. He is demonstrative in love, and likes healthy pleasures. He enjoys affectionate touches and time spent in contact with a significant other. "

💚: how does my muse feel about love? about falling in love? about being in love?

   He sees it as a normal part of life. In his perspective, everyone falls in love at least once and he is no exception.

   He has fallen in love a few times, some more seriously than others since he does indulge in very casual flings rather than long-lasting relationships often. Partly can be blamed on his age, he sees himself as someone too young to take relationships too seriously, nevertheless, if it does happen - finding someone who will knock sense into him, that is - he won’t push the person away. He thought to have found that person once, but alas, she ditched him for someone else and he returned to his usual pattern of short-lived affairs.

   Timothy quite enjoys the whole process of falling in love and even being in love with someone. He is quite fond of going on dates or simply just spending a lovely time with someone who adores him and appreciates his company, being possibly considered a romantic in this aspect as he values even the smalled tender touch and all.

   I suppose you can say he’s a softie once he falls in love completely.

💜: how long might it take for my muse to say “i love you” for the first time?

   To put it short and simple: a really long time. He is one to say it lightheartedly to a friend he really cares about and members of his family, but when it comes to someone he’s interested in romantically it’ll take really long to come out of him. 

   This comes from the fact he isn’t always 100% sure of his own feelings, being too used to casual flings and not wanting to mislead someone into thinking he/she will be getting more than what he is willing to give. So until he is fully certain those words are to be said, he’ll keep them to himself.

   Consciously i’d say Timothy behaves in a more attentive manner, even going out of his way to be more chivalrous than usual. Not that he is a careless man otherwise, but there is always that little extra effort he puts into making the one he is interested in swoon and feel like he/she is the only Timothy has eyes for.

   As for the subconscious behaviour... I’d say what he does that definitely flies under his own radar is how he gets lost looking at the person. Not in a creepy way though, he just ends up letting his gaze linger to take in details and small things the person does - a small, silly, lopsided smile usually following suit.

🤫  –– Are you able to keep a secret? We all know everyone has a person they tell everything to, other people’s secrets included: who’s that person for you?

   “If someone asks me to, I will stick to my promise and keep the secret, as long as it isn’t something related to putting other’s wellbeing in jeopardy… If this makes sense to you.”

   Timothy isn’t known for being a liar or even a man with a secrets. Most actually consider him to be an open book about himself, just ask him and he’ll tell you. It’s something he actually takes pride in. But when it comes to keeping other people’s secrets though, he will put up a fight if he has to. It’s like trying to make a rock speak, he’ll even pretend to be that dense if he has to.

   “I do have two people i tell most of things, never ones that concern a third-party though, sorry to disappoint. My sister and the person who allows me to bunk over his house during the summer, who is even so kind to put up with me here at hogwarts, professor Jasper Moon.”

   “Hardly ever, if at all. To put it simply.” Timothy didn’t even need to think too hard about the topic. Lying wasn’t something that came natural to him. All things taken into account his most positive trait had to be his honesty, he’d always been praised for it, and he had always taken pride in it regardless of how some would consider it a flaw if he ever planned to get far in life.

   “The most i can do to help someone feel better is mind my words? But in the end the truth is always better, even if harsh, than a lie.”

Despite the exams being pushed, the students all around him seemed rather distracted rather than a select few who were actually taking the time to study. Everyone seemed focused on... everything but studies, as if it was already summertime bound. Which they were not. it's worrying but Cyrus can't do much about it. He can't help but catch up with one of his professors, for some sense of normality. "Hey prof, have you noticed everyone acting a bit strange lately? Other than stress of exams..."

   The end of the school year was always the prime time for wacky occurances, at least in Timothy’s perspective. It had been like that since the dawn of times, probably, he hadn’t been alive for that long to tell. But this year would really take the prize for oddest.

   He had noticed students going around mumbling things about mother, it was almost impossible to ignore the whole ordeal, but for some reason, his common sense advised him to sit this one out rather than trying to get to the core of the issue. He could only take solace in seeing that some of the students not on that catatonic state were some he was fonder of. It would’ve crushed him if all of them had succumbed to it.

   With it said, having Cyrus come up to him only brought a small smile to his lips. 

   “Ah, yes. It’s quite hard to miss,” Timothy shook his head with a small click of his tongue. “We’re told to keep our eye on them but ultimately, leave it for more capable hands. I’m sure it will all get figured out real soon.” A shrug was the most he could offer, which could only be discouraging to a student, he could reckon that much.

   “We should see the bright side, at least they’re only calling for a mother, they could’ve been singing 'cha-cha real smooth' and i don’t think any of us would be able to handle that.”

   Sometimes his sense of humour would take an extreme turn to references that would most probably pass right through most of his students. Way to make himself sound like a thousand years old.

   “But hey, speaking of exams, how’s your studying going?”

   “I think I can say my family was as simple as one can possible define as such,” he shrugs at the end of his words. “I was raised by mum and dad in the suburbian area of Cork, and for the longest time that was it. Just us three. Things only changed around my third?… Fourth? Year here at Hogwarts.”

   He could feel his expression shift from a lighthearted smile onto having his lips pressed together in a thin line. “That was the time I found out I have a half-sister,” he said in clarification. Back then he’d been thrilled to find out he had someone else related to him. It was a feeling he couldn’t understand himself, but he felt happy about the little girl who had been placed in Gryffindor, just like he had been, and whom he could take care of and try to guide. It was a shortly lived joy however, once he realised that it meant his father had cheated on his mother and thus breaking the image of happy family he’d grown up with. 

   It had been a heavy issue to go through, and he had done it all by himself, opting to, in the end, omit from his parents that he had come to meet the result of his father’s one night stand with a witch - information disclosed by his half sister.

   Coming to terms with how heavy that ordeal would be to explain, Timothy merely allows the smile to return to his face. “She’s quite the handful, let me tell you. I had to bust her out of trouble so often that it just became easier to join her adventures as some sort of guardian. We still talk, by the way, our families don’t know we do, but we believe they don’t have to know anyway.”

   “Aliens,” he let the word hang as he subtly puffed his cheeks in thought. It wasn’t one of the things he dwelt on about the most. Truth to be told, he never so much spared it a thought beyond how “E.T” was an entertaining movie and how “Alien” was even more - not that the same could be said about its sequels, in his opinion at least, there was just something special about the older movies. 

   As for life beyond this planet. “I suppose it may be possible, we never know. There are a lot of strange things in this world. Why wouldn’t it be possible for the same to happen somewhere else?”

🤧  –– Do you get sick often? Are you one of those people who get sick but power through it, or do you complain the entire time and not move from the sofa?

He manages not to get sick too often as Timothy does his best to live as healthy as he can, if we ignore how unhealthy the excessive amount of alcohol he consumes occasionally can be. When he does fall ill however it’s in quite the amazing fashion, the otherwise strong and vibrant man being drained into a shadow of a himself.

He will power through that feeble state to attent to his responsibilities without so much of a complaint however, even swatting away and help or advise of “you should rest”.

This only changes around his closest friends though. If left with one while sick, Timothy will become an endless pit of whining and dramatic coughs to emphasize his requests of snacks or blankets because he's allegedly too weak to get it himself.
