So I made a lil DW au where the show takes place in the more modern times instead in the 1980s-90s, it also has a geometric Fairly Oddparents ahh artstyle so there's that. Pretty generic I know

im kinda tired and hungry rn and i do not feel like waiting to post this when the document is done so im posting it now

benefactese document changelog (because the document is so big, some changes arent immediately noticable):

added a credits section!!

added parts about translating english to benefactese and the other way around

making the document waay more noob friendly in general (thx batya!!)

restructured the entire document

added some clarifications, corrections, and other stuff to make my points clearer, i legit cant remember everything i edited tho so i wont be specific sory

added a (currently incomplete) master list for every symbol in the game, its in a separate document tho

better and more accurate translations for the iterator dialogues with notes

renamed the “structure of text” part to “structure of text in lines” and added “structure of text in blocks”

expanded on the news report advertisement

updated most of the pictures to look better, lists of symbols have a visual dissection now too (again, thx batya!)

added every single fucking symbol i and batya could find in the symbol master list

This is a very hard post to write, and for days I debated on whether I should even post it or not. But I feel as though this matter is something everyone should be aware of, so that things happening in this beautiful country of mine don’t get covered by politicians trying to rewrite events in the future with elections coming.

There is a big city in Buenos Aires that is currently under water. The number of dead people found keeps increasing. There are children that have been swallowed by the strong currents and their parents are desperately trying to find them, not losing hope in a truly hopeless situation.

Bahía Blanca is under water. People are losing their homes, their businesses, their livelihoods. People are losing everything, including their lives.

It is not the first time this city is affected by weather phenomena and by the sea growing out of control. This is a tragedy that could’ve, SHOULD’VE, been prevented, but no politician is ever interested in doing anything. Even now a big part of relief efforts comes from the public, from civilians donating food, clothes, mattresses, money—and it’s still not enough. Police and army forces are rescuing civilians just as civilians are rescuing themselves and their pets.

There are many wrong things happening in this beautiful country. In Argentina. There are many truly wrong heinous things happening, and sometimes I feel like I’m going crazy because what’s happening here seems to be of little importance to the rest of the world.

Maybe that’s why I’m writing this, why I’m posting this. I want people to know what’s going on, so it doesn’t feel like the world doesn’t care.
