wait is librarycore a thing?? like academia but
tall bookshelves reaching near the ceiling, filled with one’s collection of YA fiction
always being asked for book recommendations by your friends
educating yourself and others on literature from all cultures including POC authors
reading the NYT bestseller list every month and having a new favorite book every week
organizing and categorizing everything you own and knowing exactly where they are
lending books to friends of friends and basically running a library out of your home
sitting in a secluded area of the public library reading sci-fi novels and thinking about how underrated they are
the feeling of being in a different world after finishing a really immersive book or movie
eating lunch in the school library while chatting with the libarian about the latest book delivery
having spent all day reading a book because you could not put it down
