"Sex is a human right" has 2 possible meanings - 1. that an INDIVIDUAL person has a right to sex, or 2. that two/more consenting people have a right to sex with each other. You were meaning the second one, but the people responding thought you meant the first one. It's a misunderstanding that I've come across before. (I'm not criticizing you or anyone involved in the argument though.)

Thanks for being actually understanding about where I'm coming from. I'm not going to debate any TERFs or SWERFs on issues of sex work and trans rights cause it is bad for my own mental well-being, but I'll explain here cause I feel like this could get really out of hand.

The post I saw simply said 'sex is not a human right'. From my perspective, that will always mean the second thing you described. Which is why I made the post. I don't think that phrase should be used in people's arguments (whether I agree or not) because it is/it evokes a eugenicist ideology. It just isn't a good look.

I'd also like to not be randomly called a rapist or nazi. Both things have affected myself, my family, and my friends. The aggressive dogpiling from TERFs I've experienced in the past 10 hours is horrible, and has confirmed, beyond any doubt, that I will never listen to them. I have deleted most of my posts but I know they are no longer in my control.

I think the worst part about trans ideology is the fact that it allows for oppressors to just decide that they’re the oppressed. Rich people can’t just decide to be poor, white people can’t just decide to be black, but men can just negate the entirety of their privilege by saying that they’re women, and take up space in women’s spaces.
