As an opening to October... Initially I wanted to make animation out of this Wolf drawing. Like the classic scene whereas the wolf were caught doing her thing (re : munching her brunch). Yet she immediately noticed your presence few meters away. By the sound of your feet stomping on the leaves? Or perhaps your smell?

I figured out animations would took too much time. 😓 Regular illustration would be good enough with this time restraint!

Took a quite a while before I decide how the final art would end like. Asked my risma pardner for the wolf's eyes treatment. I decided to go w/ the 1st version this time. That eerie feeling... looks nice. At least to give an intimidating first impression before the truth unfolds >:)

This wolf drawing could be seen as her first encountered either with the red riding hood and/or the hunter. The prologue, for sure.

Gun down or gun up?

I asked few friends' opinion on my sketches... Most vote went to the 1st one a.k.a gun down! I personally like that one too, i want to draw the hunter as hot cool as possible (trying! my best)

I like how the 1st choice got interpreted as "The Hunter is appearing cautious--all skeptical--as he searches for the feared beast. He lowered his rifle as soon as he realized something is off. Well, it's still the prologue after all!"

So I proceed with that first sketch. My only concern was that his holding-the-riffle pose wasn't clearly visible when cropped to the composition. I still keep the other two version of the sketches, I could still use it for something in the future. Also IDK how to draw riffle for real. JKSDAJKFS BUT thanks CSP gallery for having that free 3D asset. Huge lifesaver!!! I can draw hapiharo doujinshi!!!!

This Hunter drawing was finished and published 5 days later, irl coming in the way @ most of part oof.

Finally getting the time to start working on Mikakazukin!! he he he. I came up with various sketches (there are 5 of them but I decide to only show these two!)

As usual, asked my risma pardner to vote again.. The 1st one has a pretty good composition and pose! I like it... but the foreshadowing-lore-accurate sketch was the winner. 😇 (aka the second sketch)

The Red Ridng Hood seemed like she was caught off guard. Looking down, realizing that she might've stepped...onto..something. That led to her first encounter with the wolf.

I thought the second one also has a matching vibe with the rest of the set. The first one is like.. good for aesthetic-purposes.

Writing "Red Riding Hood" takes too much space on the ribbon. So I decided to stick with "The Villager" title for her. It matched the whole set better 🤝😉 Since lil red riding hood wasn't the main focus on this AU, villager suits her too story-wise hehehe

The Red Riding Hood drawing completed the quickest among the other two. I didn't spend too much time pondering what to add or what to fix. It was posted on the next day.

Ok maybe thats all the rambles for this set! Crosses finger I could somehow draw the stories as comics. I feel like I've been cooking quite well for this AU ^_^ if not this month, definitely next year.

Hopefully i'll be able to cook one more thing by the end of october :D

od im so slow... but thats okay i'd like to take all the time i can to pursue what i passion for. Commissioning someone else for this AU been a very hard to achieve due to lot of reasons. So i'll try to cook it myself!!!!

Before the door was closed, a soft whisper of goodnight echoed in the stillness of the night, wishing the children, tucked and warm under their blankets, a happy dream.

Rose's hand slipped off the doorknob. She stretched her arms up in the air, her eyes had met the clock. It was 9 PM. The children were already on their bed as scheduled.

That's one of the tasks done. Now comes..., the next task...

Her steps were quiet towards the living room, there, she found Jake was already collecting the toys that had scattered over the floor.

"You should have asked them to tidy up" Rose crossed her arms, "Not offering them to make up their mess, that's irresponsible for them"

Jake could only gave her a sheepish laugh, "They would get distracted and continued to play, all of them had to go to bed and it was nearly their bedtime"

Jake picked up a train toy and smiled, "being discipline and on time are also part of being responsible, no?"

Rose rolled her eyes, feigning annoyance, though, she relented with his reason, she sighed and finally helped Jake collecting the children's toys.

The sound of toys being picked up and placed inside the box filled the living room for a while before Jake began to hum a song.

Rose's ears perked towards the familiar tune, her attention went back to Jake, "Isn't that the music for the children's day performance?"

Jake stopped the hum and nodded, "Yes, it is"

"How'd you know that?"

Jake reached the back of his head and scratched there, averting his glance away from Rose's figure, another sheepish chuckle escaped him, "I helped with the props and decoration for the stage" he confessed.

Hearing the answer, prompted Rose to raise her brows, "Help...? You mean, you've been going back and forth helping out pak rt and ibu-ibu komplek setting up the stage for the event?"

A quick and nervous nod followed from Jake, "Daniel invited me to help them out, and I volunteered myself"

The room fell silent and they kept on exchanging stare.

Not wanting to misinterpret her glare, Jake quickly cleared his throat and attempted to break the silence first, "Is... Is something wrong?"

Rose hummed, realizing that she had been staring him, "No, it's just..." she paused, her eyes began to drift to the box of toys below...

Her lips were slightly pursued for a moment before she addressed her thought, "I knew Yuki and Daniel will participate in the children's day event, they told me themselves" she paused again, her fingers traced the plush toy she was holding.

"...But, you rarely told me anything you do, Jake"

Jake's eyes grew slightly wider at her words, "I-I don't want to bother you while doing the house chores, that's all"

"That's very thoughtful of you, but the children would still tell me anything even if I was doing the house chores, they would come, offer me help, then yap endlessly. Telling me everything they saw or done"

The room fell silent again, yet, nobody moved slightly.

Rose contemplated and Jake was waiting.

"I wish..." Rose huffed, defeated by her own conflicting thoughts, then, she continued, "I wish you would tell me more about you. What you do, where you're going. It would ease me up a little bit"

"Ease you up..?" Jake repeated,

"Yes. You are still under my care, are you not? It would put me in relief knowing that everyone under my care is safe and not doing anything reckless when I'm not around to scold them"

Rose took in a deep inhale as her features softened, "So, yeah" she mused, continuing her task, "You should tell me more about you"

Jake blinked few times, her words sunk into his mind. "You wouldn't mind?" he asked,

Rose scoffed playfully, "Why would I mind about a small rambling from you? It's harmless"

"Well" Jake gripped the toy in his hand a bit firmer, he could feel the shape of the squishy toy pressing against his chest, he barely moved an inch.

A flustered mess he had become and he hadn't noticed it, "okay, I will try... telling you more in the future" he replied finally, then quickly added, "...about me, that is"

Rose gave him a silent nod in return as she continued to focus at the task at hand: tidying up the living room.

One day Little Red Riding Hood was attacked by mysterious beast from the forest while on her way towards the neighbouring village. Mr. Hunter, whose role was to protect the village he lived in, tried to hunt down the aforementioned beast.

......Only to discover that the feared and mysterious beast was actually a wolf girl who seeks finer things for her meal. 🎀🐺🔫

🐺 Wolf: A girl with short silver hair/furs. Possess wolf features while looking like a human whose origins remain mysterious (for now!). The wolf girl wasn't as harmful as people assumed. She is actually has a bright and lively personality. Due to lacking of satisfying food in the forest, the wolf girl is constantly hungry. She grew fondness towards homemade cooking made by the humans. 🍽️😋 Personally wolf girl likes being pat on her head like regular domestic animals. The pocket belt she's wearing contains little fruit berries for her to snack.

🔫 Hunter : A young man with reddish brown hair. His eyes are light blue. A cool and serious type. He protects his village and his family from the beasts of the forest. Although he has a serious personality, he is actually a caring and kind person to those close to him. He is most often seen wearing a hat and carrying a hunting rifle.

🎀 Little Red Riding Hood: It's the Hunter's younger sister! She has long, silky hair, reddish brown in color. She was attacked by the Wolf because she accidentally stepped on her tail. In other words, the attack was a misunderstanding. She is very cheerful and soon becomes friends with the wolf girl once things cleared up.

When the hunter tried to hunt the wolf, the wolf caught him first.

The wolf notices that the hunter has the same scent as Little Red Riding Hood. She then complained her pettiness toward the girl who stepped on her tail.

The misunderstanding was cleared up and the three become friends.

In return, the wolf asked the hunter to introduce her to the various dishes made by the villagers. Fulfiling her goal to eat much delicious meal than just a raw meat and random mushrooms from the forest.

i requested a 5W1H tarot reading for George POV awhile ago and i havent fully recovered from the reading result...

the tarot is unexpectedly hit the spot and very insightful.. especially the taking notes habits??????? awwwwh so precious TTTTTTTTTTTTT makes sense ...they even pointed out he is a person with memory of distracted goldfish....
