This started out as just a place to post my Rabb.it chat room for people who are alone or just lonely and its turning into something bigger than that. At least I hope it is. If you're lonely, I hope you find company with me and mine. I will never post anything angry or depressing, only faith hope and trust!

And for many the ones who taught anger and fear, but the ones who taught hope, they were few And I ask myself which is the law I must take, bidding truth like as a hand fits a glove And I chose and I never looked back on that day, for the law of the Herald is love

Why be Kind?
1. Everyone is struggling in one way or another, and it makes a huge difference when someone’s kind to us.
2. It improves your mood, and enhances self esteem. It is, therefore, good for your own mental health.
3. Kindness is innate – it’s at the heart of who we are. Thus, we’re being more authentic when we choose to be kind.
4. Kindness is contagious and will likely ripple out, so the others in your world will be inspired to be kind, too.
5. It builds connections with others so we feel much less alone, more cared for, more connected, more valued and more loved.

In the end, that’s what we all need more than anything else: to be there for each other, in every kind of situation.

NOTICE - IF I’M HOME I’M PROBABLY GOING TO BE IN THE ROOM WATCHING RANDOM STUFF LIKE LET’S PLAYS OR MISC DOCUMENTARIES, MUSIC, WHATEVER. YOU CAN ALWAYS JUST GO TO THE ROOM AND CHECK TO SEE IF I’M THERE. I MIGHT NOT ALWAYS BE AT THE KEYBOARD SO IF I DON’T ANSWER I MUST BE AFK.
At 6PM - EST I will be watching the movie Tampopo. If the room gets full, (I doubt it will since people generally come in and out often) please feel free to create your own room and reblog this post to see if other people would like to join you in your room! Here is a link to the video if you end up making your own room!
#1 rule is don’t be a dick. If I think you’re being antagonistic or purposefully rude you’ll get a warning, if I think you’ll heed one, but otherwise you’ll just get the boot.
I’m probably going to take off for awhile after the movie then come back around 9 and play something else. Would people want me to toss up some other playlist of some kind so they can keep chatting?

I sincerely think that some people are in a love affair with their own misery. I will fight my battles with relentless optimism, I have no other choice. You can choose to find things to be happy about, you can walk out of the darkness on your own feet. Yes, I have a mental illness. I've spent years fighting and learning about myself and trying to find the right meds. It's possible, but not if you give up. I think some people get comfortable in their illness and their sadness, and their loneliness. They made a home there and got used to it for so long that any options they're given seem pointless because it *might* not help so why try. I'm telling you to try. I'm telling you that even if it only helps for a while those little moments start to add up to hours and days from darkness, to shadow, to twilight, to dawn. I believe in you, and more importantly I believe that you can believe in yourself.
