The Crimson Beast

There once was a wolf. It howled as the Hunters came for it, and yet no one came to help. So the wolf turned to the Hunters to seek peace. And she found that the Hunters were far worse than the beasts they hunted.Bloodborne Hunter OC within Ultra Sun/Moon!Game-appropriate stakes expected, LOW stakes normally!May refer to rather high stakes events in her past!MOSTLY Canon Compliant, RP/Ask friendly!

... Would it be strange to admit I agree with this anonymous user?
Salutations, Sir Maria! I must admit, your battling prowess astounds me — no small feat, I assure you! — but, more than that I profess I am astounded by your fashion! It's positively delightful, and though I do not think I would wear it, personally — for my typical attire is far removed from yours, and I absolutely adore it — I could not go longer without paying it a compliment! At all times, you look absolutely stunning!
I-
Thank you? This was... not what I anticipated opening the internet to on this particular occasion, I will admit...
...Is this why Ade handed the device to me while giggling. I would not be surprised if it was.

Getting set up for the Island Challenge is... taxing for my brain, I apologize for the utter lack of attentiveness I have shown this blog.
In other news, I can and will be adding my neices into it within the next day or so? Their phones should be arriving relatively soon, and I have been gradually showing them the basics of how they work.
It's strange. I hail from Yharnam, but the more I learn about using this device, the closer it feels like second nature. I somehow had intuition on what certain things did and how to operate them. Typing is also very natural.
Tales from an amnesiac, I suppose. Whatever life I had before Yharnam isn't me anymore, but I do find myself curious from time to time.

△ How many would you kill to protect those you love?
//Violence and murder cw of course.
Well I suppose that I shouldn't be surprised by this question, mm? You seem to know of my capacity for violence, Hunter of Yharnam as I was. And still am, given my standing. So I'll answer plainly.
Whoever is necessary to kill if it's what's necessary. I don't concern myself with counting. Of course, I also don't want people to worry. If non-lethal methods are available, I am capable of choosing that route. A good man by the name of Djura knows that, as does a woman I know.
But do not test me. My title is the Crimson Beast.
My hair used to be brown.
2/10 for minor annoyance at best.

Send me a △ and ask a really invasive question aimed at my character
They’ll have to:
Rate on a scale of 1-10 how much they don’t want to answer that question.
Answer that question.

Hmm. It seems as though the Alolan Island Challenge has a notably different flow to it compared to other Gym circuits. You must face... Trial Captains and Totem Pokemon as well as succeed in a specialized challenge for an island.
Curious. It seems almost more open ended than the rigidity of a Gym challenge. I admit, I'm curious...
I do wonder if Paarl will be willing to battle, though. It almost seems like he never learned anything beyond what he'd know instinctively.

Do you have a brush for Paarl?
Aryn has graciously gifted one to me, I've been doing daily grooming sessions for him to get his coat under control. A trip to a Pokemon veterinarian gave us some good dietary regiment ideas to make sure he could be brought back up.
He refuses to leave my side. He's been registered to a Pokeball, but almost as soon as he went in, he came crashing back out in a half-panic. He doesn't seem to enjoy it, so... We'll see how Alola handles roaming Pokemon. I know Johto and Paldea allow it, but we can't find anything for or against it in Alola.
I can't imagine they'd deny it... But I have been disappointed by assumptions before.

Very Good Boy Paarl…
Yes he is. And he's even awake to be told this time.
... I now have him burying his face in my torso again.

The elder of my neices, Clara, is insisting that I tell you all that Paarl the Absol is "a very good boy".
He is asleep and cannot know of his grandiose title. So I must share it with you all by request.

I have an Absol now.
... Paarl. I believe Paarl is an alright name.

[Photo ID: Yep. Scrunkly Absol. Their coat is a bit disheveled and they look a bit thin, but neither situation seems too dangerous at the moment, clearly a sign the shelter had been trying their best with their anxious charge. The Absol in question is… face-first, buried right into Crimson's torso. The horn is slightly pressing into her chest, but she doesn't seem to mind much. Yep. Those're tear marks on her face, stoic as she looks.]
I seem to have been chosen.
... I seem to have failed to expect how many Pokemon and people would be out here for their weekly adoption drive.
I, ah. Hmm. There is... quite a lot going on here?

I have to admit, this isn't how I expected this to go. He's practically trying to press himself into me. I. My heart isn't equipped for this, it feels ready to burst.

I'm... being approached by one of the volunteers. This is apparently abnormal. He tends to avert his gaze.
And that is not happening here. I... may approach...

Hmm. The Absol's tucked away in a corner, and it's a corner I myself would like to be in considering how much chatter is going on in this place. It's friendly, it's fine, I'm just. A bit... tense.
He seems to be staring at me. Hmm.

Which Pokemon were you looking at?
// Light death mention:
Oh, a Mimikyu and an Absol in particular. The Mimikyu simply caught my attention entirely based on how strange it seemed, but the Absol...
It had no name, and it was taken to the shelter by the local rangers entirely because of his state. He was with an elderly fellow who sadly passed while the Absol was in his custody, and...
Well. I've been told what Absol have a sixth sense for. His very anxious personality is notable thanks to what he's been through, and I... suppose I relate.

... I will confirm nor deny nothing at all.
It's visiting hours at a shelter in Alola. A place called the Hau'oli Pokemon Shelter in the city of the same name.
I'm gently prodding at Aryn to go soon. We spent a good amount if time last night peering through the ones they have up for viewing tomorrow at a small, weekly adoption event, and...
One has my eye. Possibly two out of morbid curiosity.
