we’ve got tv shows about people who pretend to be psychic but are just really observant. I want a tv show about someone who’s actually psychic but has to pretend to just be really observant.

Being chronically ill during late stage capitalism is just constantly trying to unlearn the idea that you need to earn the privilege of not being in excruciating pain all the time

questions to torture stuck-up business majors with on a date
• "why can't we just print more money?"
• "inflation? isn't that like, a kink?"
• "why do they call it the FREE market when you have to pay for stuff?"
feel free to add on

Does anyone else have just a small identity crisis sometimes when it comes to whether you call yourself able/disabled/chronically ill? It's probably from being surrounded by a society of ableists, but a lot of times I feel weird calling myself chronically ill when I only have scoliosis and asthma. Like I think I don't "count" or something. Even though my scoliosis is severe and causes me constant pain, nerve damage, headaches, and limits me when I try to do certain physical activities. Somehow I still feel like I have imposter syndrome when it comes to my identity with my condition.

If you compare disabled people to each other saying “Well, this person with the same issues can do this, why can’t you?” you are not an ally, you are part of the problem.

i will no longer be referring to my chronic illness as such. instead I will only refer to it as an UNBREAKABLE ANCESTRAL CURSE.
