Top photo, from left to right: Rachel Trlica, age 17, Renee Wilson, age 14, and Julie Moseley, age 9.
Bottom photo: the same women, all age progressed to 49 years-old.
On December 23, 1974, these three women went shopping at a local mall in Fort Worth, Texas. They planned to attend a party scheduled later that day but never showed up.
Their families became worried and traveled to the Seminary South Shopping Center to look for them. When they arrived they found their Oldsmobile in the parking lot. A Christmas present they had purchased that day was in the trunk of the locked car and there was no signs of a struggle.
The next morning Rachel’s husband, Tommy Trlica, received a mysterious letter addressed to “Thomas.” The family found this strange because Rachel always called him Tommy. It had no return address except the numbers “76083,” which appeared to be a postal code but did not correspond to zip code in Texas.
The letter read:
“I know I'm going to catch it, but we just had to get away. We're going to Houston. See you in about a week. The car is in Sear's (sic) upper lot.”
Another bizarre aspect of the letter was that the name Rachel seemed to be misspelled. It appeared to end in an “e” but was written over to form the “l.”
The women were never found and little information about the case has been released.
They came to be known as the Forth Worth Three or the Fort Worth Trio.

“I stabbed her, but she didn’t fall dead. They’re supposed to fall dead, they’re supposed to go ‘oh’ and fall dead, I’d seen it in all the movies, right? It doesn’t work that way. When you stab sombody, they leak to death.”
Ed Kemper, reflecting on one of his murders in a 1991 interview.

Bobby Driscoll (the voice of Peter Pan) became addicted to narcotics when his acting career failed after he got older. In 1968, two little boys became lost after playing in an abandoned part of Manhattan’s underground and found his rotting body. It was surrounded by needles, a wooden crucifix, and religious pamphlets. He was only 31.

January 25, 1947: the funeral for Elizabeth Short, who in death became infamously known as the Black Dahlia. The mourners seated in front of her casket are her mother, Phoebe Short, her sister, Virginia, and her brother-in-law, A.C. White.

Chilling moment when a girl being filmed happily chatting about her upcoming university graduation is interrupted by gunshots behind her (neither her nor the person filming her had realized that those were actual gunshots), yesterday in Split, Croatia, January 11, 2020. Three people were murdered by a man allegedly defending his brother who was (also allegedly) being abused and extorted by them. The case is still ongoing, so not much info is 100% confirmed, but the whole situation was scary to follow on the news. People were locking themselves in their homes while the police was looking for the murderer, everyone was extremely frightened.
#her LAUGH?#i would have immediately been like... tf?????#those are clearly gunshots homegirl#no judgement but like

AND ANOTHER THING: yes. We are complicit. I am willing to accept that to feed my selfish curiosity. Anyone who doesn’t is ignorant.
I just finished the dont f*** with cats documentary and I cannot verbalize how horrifying the entire thing was.
Not only because of the crimes committed but the complete tone deaf crew who thought it was a good idea to use those videos and audio snippets.
And then also have the audacity to lecture the audience over the media they created. I’m so tired of “did we (you) create this monster?” No, we did not. You did not. What happened here was the fault of the murderer shut the fuck up.

Okay no offense, but you cannot possibly understand the things those people went through- and the documentarians were telling their story- they actually had to watch it frame by frame and they showed us the Bare Minimum. These people, who watched these vids over and over (and without that he wouldn’t have been caught btw) with knowing this person would move on from animal cruelty to hurting real people- to warning the police and them not paying attention? The documentarians placed warnings ALL OVER this doc on Netflix. The bottom line on that is: don’t watch a doc that starts with cat murder if you can’t handle a doc that starts with cat murder. I will be the first to say it disturbed me To. My. Core. as well, but I knew what I signed up for, bc- oh- I read the disclaimer. The only reasons the documentours portrayed the Real Life People they were interviewing as guilty, was because they fucking felt guilty. Luka wanted attention, the online group Gave Him Attention. That is a fact they will have to question and live with, and although they did amazing work and they are definitely NOT at fault, you cannot invalidate their feelings. They were the subject of the doc. Them, and the victim’s friend. They are the ones that experienced it, they went thru it, they watched the videos, had people die around them. You consumed the story and had complaints about the way it was Accurately Handled (without ever showing anything too horrid). So like, yknow. Chill. They did a lot of work and deserve credit for the bastard they took down. PS: don’t watch true crime docs if you can’t handle true crime

“Serial killers do on a small scale what governments do on a large one. They are a product of the times, and these are bloodthirsty times. Even psychopaths have emotions if you dig deep enough. Then again, maybe they don’t.”

26-year-old Brandon Lawson lived in San Angelo with his girlfriend of ten years, Ladessa Lofton, and their three children. At approximately 11:54PM on the 8th of August, 2013, Brandon left their home after having a minor argument with Ladessa. Shortly afterwards, Brandon called his brother, Kyle, and informed him that he had ran out of gas on Highway 277 near Bronte, Texas. Kyle would bring him some gas immediately, he said, and to hang tight where he was.
When Kyle arrived at the location, he found Brandon’s abandoned car. Brandon was nowhere to be found but there was a police officer at the scene. He told Kyle he had been called to the scene by Brandon who had placed an extremely unnerving 911 call. On the 911 call, Brandon states: “My truck ran out of gas… There’s one car here…” Following this statement, it sounds like he hauntingly says: “a guy is chasing me into the woods, please hurry…” He also placed a call to Kyle’s girlfriend, Audrey, in which he pleaded: “Audrey, Audrey, I’m bleeding,” before the call was cut off.
The car evidently hadn’t been in any kind of crash and there was no sign of a struggle. An extensive search of the surrounding area turned up nothing. His family are adamant that something sinister took place. It wouldn’t be like Brandon to just up and leave his girlfriend and their children. The background noise in the 911 call hinders the clarity of what is said but many sleuths have attempted to figure it out; many believe he certainly wasn’t alone when he made that call. He has never been found.

In August 2017, the owner of a house found the corpse of a girl already half devoured. As the examination and the investigators established, after a party in the villa association, the girl was first beaten, raped, set on fire, and then she was skinned alive and left to die. The killers also brought a wig and put it on the victim’s scalp head. Sources suggest that the girl may have been homeless.
