Will forever be sad that we will never get the Scream 7 movie that follows Sam. With the way the re-quels parallel the original Scream trilogy we could've gotten to see how Sam and Tara are foils of Sidney and Roman.

Both Roman and Sam were estranged from their sisters for a significant amount of time and had reasons to resent their younger sisters however Sam still always prioritizes Tara's safety whereas Roman lashed out at Sidney and chose to make her suffer for things that were out of her control (being raised by Maureen, having a relatively happy family growing up, becoming famous after the woodsboro massacre).

Just think it would've been an interesting dynamic to explore, same with learning more about Sam and Tara's mother which they would've had the chance to delve into if Scream 7 happened as planned.

Amber steps in front of Tara. Protecting her. Amber truly never intended on Tara dying. Maybe to have Tara not be ruled out as a suspect yet. But really it was to protect her at all costs.
