So...I've started a Patreon.
I'm using it like a tip jar: for $1+ per month, you will gain access to my zoo drawings one week early and a behind-the-scenes looks into my process.
I don't expect much (if anything) to come of this, especially so early on and with the relatively small following my work has. I will, of course, continue to create art and do my thing, but I wanted to make Patreon an option, because I've seen friends have good success with it and I have had people ask if I have one in the past.
Also, there will be no zoo drawings this week, in order to get things going with the early access, but they will, of course, be available from next week to everyone.
If you want to check it out (or even donate, what?!), you can go here: https://www.patreon.com/mollyhc
Like I said, I don't expect anything, but let's see what happens. :)

Went to Ueno Natural History Museum in Tokyo today. AKA: heaven for dino lovers! Always great fun to do some life drawing in a new location. :)

Had fun drawing Halloween themed art today with some of my fiends. What a devilishly delightful time! >:D
Brushpen and white gouache on neon-orange paper (the scanner had no idea how to handle the colour, hopefully I salvaged it.)

Went to the Tropenmuseum's Cool Japan exhibition yesterday. Then I had lunch at the ARTIS Plein and drew the storks. Fun AND educational: funducational? edufunal? Whatever...

So proud to work with this talented man. :)
Did you know our Creative Consultant on Kaijack, Charles Zembillas, was also on the design team for the 80’s He-Man and She-Ra cartoons? He was recently featured in the Netflix documentary “The Power of Grayskull: The Definitive History of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”, showing of some never-before-seen concept art and sharing insight into the production of the shows. If you have Netflix, give it a look!

Notice our genuine looks of amazement as we realized our selfie was being taken in this game by Akihiko Taniguchi, professor at Tama Art University.
A huge thanks to the staff at Tama Art University for welcoming us into the school, showing us the work of the teachers and students and giving us feedback yesterday!
