Hey everyone, I know it's going to be a busy day for a lot of people, but Google enrolled everyone over 18 into their AI program automatically.
If you have a google account, first go to gemini.google.com/extensions and turn everything off.
Then you need to go to myactivity.google.com/product/gemini and turn off all Gemini activity tracking. You do have to do them in that order to make sure it works.
Honestly, I'm not sure how long this will last, but this should keep Gemini off your projects for a bit.
I saw this over on bluesky and figured it would be good to spread on here. It only takes a few minutes to do.

The threat was loud and clear: Report your so-called “DEI” employees or else. What exactly “DEIA or similar ideologies” means is up in the air, but the message was out there. And so was the email address of the DEIA snitching hotline. Fake emails quickly started to roll in. ‘I don’t care, fuck these McCarthyite bastards,” one BlueSky user said, with an screenshot attached of an email to the hotline where he ironically reported Donald Trump and JD Vance for being “put in their positions solely because of their race and/or gender despite the fact that they are wholly unqualified for their jobs and, in some cases, have criminal records.” “Anyone have a script to fire off a billion e-mails an hour??” another user asked in the replies. “Anyone can email anything of any size even if it crashes the site,” one X user noted. The scope and effectiveness of this latest phase of Trump’s anti-DEI crusade remains to be seen.

Hermitvill was an old mining town, a bright and bustling town in her heyday, but as time wore on and the west filled with monsters she was forgotten. Other, safer roads built, railways couldn't be bothered with an old town. But her people still love living there, in a small valley, with pine trees towering outside the towns gates.
Not everyone loves the charming town. With frequent monster sightings and whispers of sabotage echoing though the community something has to give.
"If you all had just moved out with everyone else, we wouldn't have had to brake the harness!" He shouted straining against the restraints, "You could have spared Ren!"

Ghost Ship Chapter 9: Tear The Gallows Down (AO3Link)
By this point It’s been around a month since Gem and Pearl joined the crew of the Hermit. They’ve gotten to know the crew, and the played rivalries. The pirates and the Navy. Tale as old as maritime.
Cleo maintained a firm standard that they were all allowed to hold opinions, but as they were all dead. Nothing mattered in the long run.
Time moved on, companies honored them. Ships sank, and they were ultimately forgotten.
“Alright!” Cleo shouts over the heads of the assembled crew, “You all know the drill, it’s restock day.”
Everyone nods, seated along the gally tables.
“Since last time the pirates were in charge, the navy gets to take charge.”
Wels stands up, “Alright guys, we’re going to a town port called Pine landing, it’s connected to the mainland-”
The color drains from Beef’s face, “Pine landing?”
“Yes, uh we haven’t been there before,” Wels says, “You know it?”
“They killed me.”
“oh.”
Tango grins, “Why don’t we have some fun…”
Beef shakes his head, “Why, we all died somewhere.”
“But you were the only one of us to be formally executed.” Grian says, “I was being tortured for information. And they killed me. You went through months of waiting for death.”
Wels sighs, “I think everyone is a little bloodthirsty tonight,” He nods to False.
She grins back.
“I don’t think they deserve to be burned…” Beef says, “I was killed for a reason. I was in charge of a fishing crew turned pirate… we killed, burned towns to the ground. We got caught.”
“Maybe we destroy the gallows,” Impulse suggests. “Make it so no one else dies.”
He nods, “Let’s do it.”
————
Pulling the rowboats up to the shore they crew walks along the beach towards the port town.
“Oh that is gross,” Stress huffs, “they don’t even move the bodies…”
The sea stacks around the gallows are full of hanging corpses. Skulls stacked around the tops, cemented in place by wax. Stains covering the surface of both the gallows and sea stacks.
Beef tears his eyes away. Etho lays a hand on his shoulders.
“Impulse?” Tango grins, flames licking up the side of his face, “Shall we!”
Lightning strikes the top of the gallows, “We shall. Come on Zed!”
“Anyone else who wants revenge go. We’ll meet back at the boats in two hours!” Wels calls over the crackling flames.
Cub passes Gem and Pearl a handful of coins, “Here, get things for your cabins.”
“This is a lot of money,” Pearl says, “Are you sure?”
Laughing Cub rolls his eyes, “I’m a living pile of gold, I can spare as many as you need.”
“Thanks!” Gem smiles.
Pearl nods, “This is very generous, thank you.”
Cub turns towards the others and walks away to help with the proper supply run.
A few coins were left in his steps.
