was reminded of that youtube channel that records footage of that bridge that scalps trucks today. one of the fascinating developments that's happened since i last heard about it is that, in one of their many attempts to stop the trucks from being can-opened, they installed a traffic light that detects when a vehicle that's over the allowed height is coming and turns red so the driver can stop and hopefully notice the signage all around that's screaming "YOUR VEHICLE IS OVERHEIGHT TURN AROUND" and avoid an accident. However as a result sometimes drivers see the light turning yellow and IMMEDIATELY start flooring it to avoid having to stop, ensuring that the roof of their truck just gets fucking annihilated instantly. Really beautiful stuff you should check it out

hey buddies!! i've got a favor to ask. i missed out on ArtFight this year (and it frankly intimidates me a little because it's somewhat timed, and the pressure, and... and... RAH) but I'm trying to swing myself back into making art more. can't get better if i'm not practicing!! i'd like to work with/on things i'm not immediately familiar with as well, and while i could just draw random people, i think it'd make me much happier to make art directly meant for others. soooo, with that in mind...

i need you to (lovingly) wave your friends' OCs in my face!

does your buddy have an OC they're obsessed with? do they have one YOU'RE obsessed with?? are they cool with receiving random art of them of varying qualities, styles, and overall subjects? awesome. gimme. just shoot me an ask with a link to the OC in question and i'll check them out! :D

i just want to put it out there that there's NO guarantee i'll do every one i'll receive, and i am offering no real timeline here—i.e., don't bank on this as a gift or a promise. better not to tell them at all, and just let it be a surprise if it happens! :) i'm going to be doing these for free just because i feel like it, and whenever i feel like it. commissions, IRL, and my own muse will always take ultimate precedent. thanks for understanding! ♡

well... part of the exercise for this is trying to expand what i can draw, so hopefully most things with practice!! that being said, humanoids are what i'm looking for. humanish characters with some inhuman traits (tails, horns, animal ears, unusual eyes, etc) are good, and something i'd like to try!! no animals, mechs/robots, or significantly non-humanoid aliens please, i am just not going to be able to do that for you LMAO.

sorry, but no! i really want this to be about peoples' OCs, not fandom stuff. if you want me to draw canon characters for you, with love and respect, you can pay me for that.

thank you for asking i love you forever. the answer is THERE'S NO SUCH THING. if you can include the following, that'd be so rad, but feel free to add on whatever else you like:

Name (+ pronouns if possible) of character

handle of the owner of the character

link to existing artwork/photos/etc of character (toyhouse links are great, profiles of any kind are great!!)

a few snippets about them, such as "they're shy", "they work at a pizza shop", "they play golf". that just helps to give me something to chew on for poses and expressions!

whether or not you'd like to be revealed as the requester when i post the artwork. happy to say it was anon if you want, no worries! :D

one of the most annoying feelings in ADHD is the can't-get-started-with-anything feeling. like, your ADHD is screaming you have to do something. you can't just rest, resting isn't a thing. even if you are resting, it's by doing something.

but nothing works. you try to watch something, it's not right. you can't. read? can't read right now play? nah none of these games seem fun make something? ehh, you're not feeling any of these projects right now social media? it's boring or worse right now, so... find something else it's like you're not moving but it's because you're too tense to do anything, just vibrating in place
