One more, it was a busy week. The Tejas Brothers came by today and that guy on the left was there to pick up his tickets he won to see them. They told him to stay for the interview and then gave him a cd & autographed a bottle of 40 Creek! Texas artists are some of the coolest people you'll ever meet.

Curtis Grimes (lower left) & Kyle Park came by the studio today. How cool is Kyle? He went with me to my daughter's school to pick her up and even went and got a kid out of class with us so the kid, who's a huge fan of Kyle's, could meet him. That's pretty cool.

Ask most radio people and they'll tell you that most of the perks are gone these days. But when you get vinyl in the mail of one the year's best albums, and you're listed in the "Thank You" credits, what perk could be better for a music lover? Not to mention the talented people I've met that I now count as friends, like this guy, that I wouldn't have met, that's been the best perk of all.
