the way people act like covid isnt real or around anymore even though it continues to kill thousands per year is ultimately a structural issue that wouldve been solved via proper public education and less capitalism bullshit and what not but it’s so difficult to not feel like ur imploding with rage when people act like ‘theres a weird sickness going around?’ or clearly be experiencing symptoms of long covid but pretending they aren’t. how r u supposed to cope with the cognitive dissonance of hearing ‘after the pandemic’ on a daily basis when we are still in one. how am i not supposed have a fucked up sleep schedule or not feel the need to rip my hair out.
