i love girls with no ‘maternal warmth’. girls who are affectionate in awkward ways. girls who are not ‘caregivers’ so much as care needers. girls who mean well but come across as assholes. girls who don’t mean well. girls who cry a lot but it isn’t ‘cute’ it’s just annoying. girls who aren’t always the most beautiful one in the room. girls who are obnoxious. girls who kind of suck but u can’t help but love them bc they really are just trying,

reading poetry is great because there's always a well structured line followed by the most deranged thing you've ever encountered

catgirl martial arts: a frenetic, acrobatic offensive that's too tiring for anything but lightning-fast clashes; stylists inevitably have to scamper off and have a little nap afterward, or even in the middle of a fight. employs claw strikes, leaping attacks, and luck magic.
foxgirl martial arts: this one's all about feints, misleading footwork, tail movements, and having laid traps all over the battlefield a week before, as part of a tax evasion scheme. unfortunately, foxgirl hubris is more liability than asset in the wuxia genre.
doggirl martial arts: we make a lot of jokes about doggirls here but this one is actually incredibly deadly. spiritual pressure is generated the wagging the tail and then they ram head-first into you right at groin level. extremely painful.
birdgirl martial arts: they fly above you and drop things. no one has a counter so all of the other animalgirls just decided to stop inviting the birdgirls to their tournament arcs. but...how do you keep girls who can fly away?
scarecrowgirl martial arts: with scarecrowgirls, obviously. there's a lot of techniques for yelling at birds that don't have a lot of crossover utility, but the thing where they blow on a dandelion and knock every birdgirl in a flock out of the sky is pretty cool.
snakegirl martial arts: you'd think it would just be 蛇拳, or something about constructing, or like in five deadly venoms, but for some reason snakegirls are all about dual wielding maces. if they've got a long enough tail, they can build up some nasty centripetal force.
sharkgirl martial arts: there's not a whole lot you can do to improve on the basic sharkgirl bite attack deadliness-wise, so this is mostly just about figuring out less awkward techniques for getting up close to people and making jawing motions at them. it's what makes sharkgirls so smooth!
knightgirl martial arts: greatswords, broadswords, short swords, glaives, guisarmes, glance-guisarmes, and other weapons from back in D&D times. heavy armor techniques have largely been abandoned since cowboygirls first came on the scene; today's knightgirls are strictly chainmail.
megatheriagirl martial arts: spiritual energy is cultivated and conserved over the course of a lifetime of inaction, and unleashed in a single devastating strike. Once they use it, it's going to take a while before they can build up for another one, but the megatheriagirls are twelve feet tall. they'll manage!
squidgirl martial arts: eight arms. two tentacles. ten revolvers. six chambers per revolver. one bullet per chamber. a whole bunch of math and also several ink tricks, like the "calligraphy fist" (leaves a mean note on someone's face).
slimegirl martial arts: i'm not telling you about these unless y'all promise not to be horny about them

The case for sharks in Minecraft
Mojang has reportedly said that "realistic" sharks will not be included in Minecraft because hostile mobs have to be imaginary creatures. Sure! That makes sense! But listen...there's an obvious solution.
DON'T MAKE SHARKS HOSTILE MOBS
They don't have to be bloodthirsty enemies and assuming so is to unnecessarily demonize an animal that is an essential part of the ecosystem.
Instead, make them neutral mobs. They will attack only if you're holding meat or rotten flesh in your hand, or if you get REALLY close to one, and they generally avoid the player so it's on you if you try to harass the shark.
Here are some other things sharks could do that are based on reality:
Sharks have been found with all sorts of junk in their stomachs. So, you should be able to throw a shark a potion (either a weakness potion or a new one) and make them cough up a variety of junk, including bones, tridents, potentially enchanted books, tools, or....a live chicken.
If you row directly above a shark in a boat, it might bite your boat and cause it to drop as an item.
If a shark bites a hard block like stone, iron, obsidian etc. it will drop shark teeth
Finally: Sharks attack Drowned. The Drowned are made of rotting flesh! A shark would smell that and be drawn to it. So you'd want to have them around to keep the Drowned population down
Instead of assuming sharks would have to be hostile, create gameplay that shows them as creatures that have the right to exist and rewards the player for respecting them

ARGs and analog horror series on youtube are probably one of the last bastions of creativity for creativity’s sake on the internet because by their nature they are extremely hard to monetize. you cant do sponsorships because it would break the immersion, same goes for ads. the best ive seen creators do is patreon support but even by doing a patreon theyre calling attention to the fact that theres one singular human behind every series and none of this is “real”, as in, these vhs tapes recordings were never tapes, theyre avi files created in premiere pro etc. ofc im not condemning patreons, im just saying they can break the immersion a bit. when it comes to horror series , youre never meant to see the guy behind the curtain so to speak, so all of this makes it super hard for the creators to make money off youtube. i dont think ppl pick this form of creativity to profit or to get popular , they just had an idea and put it out there for the sake of making something… and i like that : ) in the era of monetizing everything, including ur art and hobbies, analog horror and args remain very genuine and authentic.
but now that ive typed all that i think it would b extremely funny if an arg protagonist paused their scared vlog rant to do a sponsorship like ‘i think im being uhm. followed and i havent slept all week but (clears throat) but thankfully raid shadow legends has proved to be an excellent distraction during this time!! raid shadow legends is a mobile game in which’
