It has been a while since I’ve posted something here. As always, still going through the same struggles I did in the prior years but here it is a bit different as I am nearing the end of my college journey and I feel like I need to give it my all. One important thing that I often forget is to take rest as such as is really important. I might finish the syllabus but because of the inadequate rest I might not be able to understand the questions. Therefore I need rest and also focus. Laser eye focus that will get me through.

Study worries…..
In the past exams, my preparations were not excellent. I was not able to go through my usual plan during an exam. I was not able to read through the material and finish it before the week of the exam. In conclusion I need to get my shit done. I don’t want to end up being disappointed in myself again.

This sem feels like a lot to me. Like what kept me from having downfalls in the previous two semesters is the fact that my support system was intact, at last. However, now that it’s broken once again, so am I.
Although, this might be an opportunity for me to prove the universe wrong, that I am a winner in life no matter what.
Here’s to more successes this sem (hopefully).

Currently not knowing what to feel other than being overwhelmed. The start of this semester has not been easy for me. Family problems have continued to persist and the constant pressure from myself does not help at all. Still, hoping for the best to come out this semester.

Being comfortable in my study area is a huge consideration on the quality of study that I would be having.

I'll have this in mind for the rest of the year
Here are 10 simple suggestions to recover from mental exhaustion.
1. Get a full night of sleep. Ever notice how things feel better after a good night’s sleep?! Nothing seems to recharge our brains, intellect, and emotions better than a full night’s sleep. A regular bedtime and wake up time can help to ensure you’re getting enough sleep. Everyone has an optimum amount of sleep. Try to get yours each night.
2. Build routines. Routines eliminate a lot of decision-making and stress. Pay your bills every Saturday afternoon. Have a morning routine from the moment your feet hit the floor until you’re out the front door. The more decisions you can eliminate, the more mental energy you’ll have for the things that really matter.
3. Mono-task: Study after study is showing that multi-tasking is simply inefficient. It takes time and energy to switch from one task to another. When you mono-task, you complete one thing and then move on to the next!
4. Give yourself regular breaks. Taking regular breaks results in getting more done. Even short breaks provide a mental and physical boost. A 15-minute break every 90 to 120 minutes seems to be best for most people. Experiment with different schedules.
5. Get some exercise. Exercise clears the mind. The exertion coupled with an activity that doesn’t require a lot of thought seems to have a magical effect on our mental reserves. Plus moving your body makes you feel better about yourself.
6. Eat wisely. Digesting food requires a lot of energy. Avoid hard-to-digest foods and heavily processed foods. In addition, foods that wreak havoc with your blood sugar should also be avoided. Food choices can significantly affect how you feel.
7. Let go of the things that don’t matter. If you have a limited amount of mental energy, it only makes sense to save it for the things that matter. Most things in life aren’t worth a lot of fuss. Save your attention for the big stuff.
8. Make a schedule before going to bed. When you start your day, it’s much easier and more productive if you already know what you should be doing. Before going to sleep, make a list of things to do the following day. When you wake up, you already know the plan for the day.
9. Delegate. Save yourself for the critical issues. Assign tasks to others. Let your son take out the trash and give your employees additional responsibilities.
10. Monitor your self-talk. It’s easy to wear ourselves out with negative thoughts. Keep your internal dialog positive and upbeat. This matters far more than most people realize. Conserve and build your mental energy in every way possible. You’ll feel and perform better in all facets of your life. Pick a few ideas and incorporate them into your life. Albert Einstein took it seriously, and many thought he had a productive life.

Incredibly Healthy Habits For Students
The most commonplace advice on good habits for students. This crucial component of a healthy relationship is not to be overlooked.
1. Don’t over-stuff your backpack.
Unless a professor tells the class to bring a textbook – keep that thing at home/in your dorm. Also, try not to carry too much with you anyway. At most I have a spiral or two, my computer. It’s not only unnecessary, but it’s heavy. It wears you down over time just adding stress and annoyance that you don’t need.
2. Work out every week.
Finding time to run a mile or two, play some basketball, or lift weights is important. It was a huge stress reliever for me and it also made me happier.
3. Stop Putting Things Off.
You know you should be finishing homework instead of going out every night. The crazy thing is, we ALL KNOW what we should be doing. But a lot of us still don’t get anything done. I’m in awe of the number of times I have put off studying or reading. However, every time I come to the simple conclusion that getting it done in the beginning is waaaaaay easier than trying to finish the task later.
4. Socialize.
Involvement in college is a spectrum. One extreme includes hobbits who stay in their dorm or apartment all day and the other includes social butterflies who are out on the town every night having fun with friends. Your goal is to find a happy medium. You don’t want to be closed off but you also want to interact with people every once in a while.
For me, this was the hardest part. I do not like to make acquaintances, but for myself I decided that it would be useful. I stepped out of my comfort zone.
5. Eat Healthier.
This is the most predictable advice I can give you. What you put in your body matters.
6. Drink more water.
Drinking water is one of the most essential healthy habits for students.
7. Know When To Say NO.
If you get your work done first, you will have time to have fun without any grief or regrets.
The most important relationship you make in your life is with yourself. It’s genuinely all a mind game. You have to learn to trust yourself by putting yourself first so that you can enjoy what life has to offer you. Having fun with this grey cloud of regret and worry about work you haven’t finished is just not fun at all. So have fun and be yourself but learn when to say NO. You’ll be forever grateful you did in the long run.
8. Give Yourself Grace.
One of the biggest downfalls for me was stressing out. Stressing over school work, time management, boys, networking, and the list goes on. It’s important to shut all the negative voices out.
There’s only one you so treat yourself with respect. If there are things you need to fix, make a plan and make it happen. If that fails, adjust the plan. No one is perfect and I wish we would collectively tell ourselves it’s going to be ok. Because it will be!

Good morning. It wasn't the best summer of my life but I wouldn't complain either. Better times will come for me too, I trust that. For now continue learning. Good day.
