constriction is creative, right? trapped in a spiderweb, limbs immobile, unable to look and see the danger around- how loud do you sing?

DREAM-OF-TEETH, a mech made from the hollowed-out corpse of one of the old gods, has killed each one of its previous pilots. You are the "lucky" 13th to try, a pit-fighter made a porcelain. Together, they will break the world before it breaks them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This started as one part of a larger zine wip I wanted to share but I went a little overboard with the presentation haha. Said wip below: (Currently working on making headway on another project so it'll be a bit before I finish this up but I like the layout so far!)

What is a circuit, but a halo? After all, they both only work properly if they are a complete loop, with no interruptions or corrosion.

i dont claim to be an expert on love but i think theres something to like… ok so my girlfriend got undertale on the switch a while back, right? and she’s definitely not a bad videogamer but it takes practice yknow, esp when youre doing a neutral route and actually fight stuff. so when she got to the hardest bosses i took the controller and beat them for her. not because she couldn’t, but because i love her. and that’s what my brother did when i was a kid playing sonic adventure 2 or whatever, not because i was dumb but because he was good at it and he loved me. and when i want my girlfriend to read something (a post, an essay, a novel) but she’s too tired to actually read so it i read it to her and i do silly voices and she laughs and we have more fun that way. when you hand a water bottle to your friend and they open it without you even having to ask. when you spent a million years fixing the flat tire on your bike and then your dad just takes the tools and does it for you. its not a judgement, it’s just a service. you could do it yourself, but why should you have to when you are loved?

You gotta make peace with being on bad terms with people you still care about, and also make peace with situations where you knew you did no wrong but was painted as the bad guy anyway. Shit hurts, but it’s life

luna-terra is such an interesting character because the memorial foundation route is obviously like. the least revolutionary, most “pragmatic” and depressingly “realistic” option in a game that is not at all grounded in realism, right. but if you play her route straight (here I just mean coupling every character with their origin faction) she obviously knows that, everyone knows that. and she wants that “bad ending” not out of nihilism but because she wants to believe that she could find a way to survive and be happy even in those shitty circumstances. she doesn’t want to aim high and grasp for ultimate happiness and liberation. she wants to know that she could survive anything, even this. her form of idealism is that she could somehow carve out a small space of mundane happiness while enduring the weight of the world—literally, the whole planet’s gravity. and I think that’s such an interesting texture for a trans character who transitioned long ago. like, the celestial mechanics and cradle’s graces endings are much more about “new bodies.” but luna-terra wants to be someone who persists through living on earth even though it’s sort of miserable every single day, but more specifically someone who believes that just by existing in it she is tilting the world off its normative axis, diluting its normative categories, shifting its gravity by 0.000000000000000000001 degrees. just one person out of billions but in math, everything can count, can be counted. without a conception of math you can’t have a conception of 0.000000000000000000001 degrees, for better or for worse. and I think that’s honestly such a good counterweight to the other two protags. and also I love girlmath
