Cozzymandias, He/Him, Game Designer and Artist and TTRPG Liker. I'm Posting art on tumblr again, so I've made a Fresh, New, Clean, Lavender-Scented Blog on which to display it so it doesn't get clogged with memes etc from my main blog. I mainly draw mechs and robots, with a sprinkling of other fantasy characters and monsters and stuff. Hope you enjoy my work!

Chimera NPC commission for the Lancer RPG, an experimental stealth frame with a biological shroud that shields it from tech attacks and allows for terrifying ambushes. Another piece that I REALLY wish I'd had the opportunity to do a full render on.

when it’s really bad again and it’s still way better than it used to be but it’s still really bad. and you do all the right stuff and you try and try and it still really hurts but it’s working but it still hurts and you go see the beautiful majesty of nature and your soul is so close to being at peace but your mind is still in pain. and it’s better but it’s still bad. and the sun is setting.

Lancer RPG commission of the "Andromeda", a customized SSC Swallowtail. People freaking love to make swallowtails look like bugs! And I do too.

Flat-color commission of a custom Balor and pilot for the Lancer RPG, the "Midwestern Goodbye". It pulls enemy mechs into the mouth in its chest, dissolving them with the caustic nanites that animate its metal plating.

Two flat-color commission pieces of a custom Lancer manufacturer, EINS. These guys LOVE hoses and military hardware. More to come from this manufacturer eventually, as I've been asked to draw all the licenses for the group.

Commission piece of an Enkidu (from the Lancer RPG), the Bound Master, in full Eviscerate mode, rending an enemy mech asunder. It was a blast to dust off the panel layout skills from when I used to do OCTs, I don't do a lot of full illustrations lately!

Taking a trip to Rubicon 3 for this comm of Yue Yu (and little Ziyi) from Armored Core 6! Fun change of pace to draw a game character, as I don't tend to draw a lot of fanart.

Another smaller comm, this time of the commissioner's space-station-AI OC, a bird-loving fella who's learning to get in touch with human emotion!

A series of smaller mecha comms coming down the pipe! The first one: The LW "Neverender", a homebrew #LancerRPG frame. It's a lightweight hunting suit with a bit of vampiric flavor, converting damage to enemies into overshield for itself.
This was a bit of an experiment with using flat textures to fill in patterns, and I'm surprised by how well it works even without a render!

Lancer RPG commission of Big Red, a custom Everest (and very old COMP/CON unit) that's been built and rebuilt since the SecCom era, and its latest pilot Scarlet. Big Red has seen a lot of pilots die; will she be any different? Who's to say! This is the commissioner's character for @vexwerewolf's amazing In Golden Flame adventure.

The Dragonslayer, a mobile artillery platform for Lancer that clamps onto asteroids and blasts apart battleships with its massive cannons. The commissioner wanted a "walking naval battery", which was a fun brief to work from!
I also took the opportunity to play around with that super harsh lighting you see in space. It doesn't work on every design, but it's definitely something I'll try again.

The HA Hannibal, a commission piece of a homebrew frame for the Lancer RPG. Like my own Hannibal design, it's super fast; unlike mine, it has a huge kickass battering ram.

Of God's Blood and Burial, an F-Type Nelson (from Kai Tave's Field Guide to Suldan supplement) for the Lancer RPG, piloted by the commissioner's Karrakin House of Glass character. I think this is the coolest thing I've ever drawn frankly.
This is a recolor to fit my personal taste; you can see the final piece I sent to the commissioner under the cut!

The Fool's Parry, a custom Atlas frame for commission. I had a lot of fun with this one, I love drawing armor and swords and I don't often get to skip all the mechanical bits and bobs! I'm also very pleased with how the facemask turned out.

A commission piece of a homebrew submarine HORUS frame, the Leviathan. I had a lot of fun with the lighting and energy effects on this one, I don't get a lot of opportunities to attempt painting water!

A recent piece of the commissioner's homebrew Lancer mech, a one-of-a-kind Harrison Armories machine designed for a Karrakin noble. It specializes in intangibility and being kind of a freak, and no-one knows exactly how it works on the inside.
The only way I know to force myself to practice hands and drapery is to draw a robot that is only hands and drapery :(
