modern with magic AU where azazel is some kind of award-winning poet or poet laureate-type who writes anti-war and romantic poetry and a lot of discussion of his work sort of spins up into his problematic past as a decorated knight, where his privilege places him as someone from a formerly fallen house, what counts and what doesn't, because i think it's funny.
also, he's notorious for avoiding actually talking about the themes of his work during interviews and hates his fame, though he loves his readers. his hobbies become progressively more niche in an effort to avoid being recognized.
