He laughs quietly, a dreg tripping over itself would be better than nothing but so would the presence of another, something that he’ll take gratefully. At the compliment, he ducks his head, an almost shy gesture, though he says in a rather mirthful tone,
[ ‘ Why thank you, Hunter, the trick is to replace them every three months or so, that way they stay at their brightest. ’ ]
“ if you count a dreg trippin’ in the dark as interestin’. ”
however, that had been some time ago. an hour or so? normally she didn’t like having someone with her when she was scouting, though given how uneventful the night had been, a little bit of company couldn’t hurt anyone. watching as he removed his helmet, she smiled slightly under her own armor, before motioning just slightly towards him. “ you have really pretty eyes. ”

[ ‘ Simply curious, we were all told stories about the Collapse and the colony ships that made it out. About how the Darkness didn’t taint the rest of the galaxy. ’ ]
He also may or may not be trying to discover a way to get out of the system and to go and see this galaxy for himself. The mentions of other alien lifeforms, including ones involved in what seemed to be a shaky alliance, was enough to pique his interest even more. But the whole thing with the time period--
[ ‘ Wait, wait, wait-- they didn’t tell us about that when you came here. Do you mean you went through a Vex Timegate? What year is it for you? ’ ]
“Maybe. Why does it matter to you?”
Well, this guy is certainly a curious sight. Reminds him of the weird aliens that their City is fighting against. Then he’s asking more questions. Great. Well, their God didn’t give him back his voice for nothing, might as well as use it for something useful for once. Or he could just.. growl at the exo. That’d be interesting.
“Yeah. Different time period too. Still have alien assholes that run around, but we’ve made peace with a few of them. They’re still assholes.”

His mouth comes together with an audible clack! and his voicebox glows faintly with an inaudible growl.
This was why he avoids the Reef, ( not because he can’t stay out of trouble, he swears ) all these Awoken staring him down as though he were lesser ( the Queen is something different and he shifts underneath her eyes ).
But he straightens up nonetheless, tilting his head slightly at her words,
[ ‘ Hm, as you wish. --your Grace. Ow! What the hell? Stop that! What’s this mission, if I may ask, or will someone else be briefing me on that matter? ’ ]
“It is your fault for continuing on- ward. Your reaction was entirely unnecessary. And no, you do not.”
her obvious displeasure with the Titan was conveyed in the way her body shifted upon the throne. legs uncrossed as she bent at the waist to look down upon him, the subtle fire that rested behind her eyes was normal. nothing to do with him. however, GUARDIANS would always find strange, new ways to lower the Queen’s expectations.
all the while she had expected some violence action in response to her Eliksni guards— it never ceased to bother her.
for a moment, she considered what to do with him— but a thought came to mind:
“You can make yourself useful on a special mission with a few of my Royal Guards.”

The Sunbreaker sighs, taking the proffered hand as he’s hauled to his feet, and he rubs at the back of his neck out of embarrassment and habit. There’s a soft laugh as he ducks his head, mumbling out,
[ ‘ If that’s what you call fumbling around with fire then yeah. “Practicing”. Ah, my name’s Covenant-5, by the way if we’re... properly introducing ourselves. ’ ]
There is a soft chuckle from Saint as he offers a hand out to the other Titan. “Struggling to use a super?”
He pulls the other up to his feet and looks back up the hill. “I have never been good with the offensive subclasses, so you have more progress than I have, it seems.” The Titan turns his bright gaze back to the other.
“Is that what you are doing out here then? Practicing your Super?”

[ ‘ Underground entrance. Riiiight. That’s not... creepy. ’ ]
This is muttered to air as he transmats himself to his own ship, his Ghost getting an earful of griping most of the way there. It isn’t too much trouble getting through the Freehold Station, some Vex resistance but nothing overwhelming, and soon, he’s peering down an eerie looking tunnel that looks draped in the familiar eerie hues of the blue-greens of the Black Garden dimension.
[ ‘ Oh, Traveler’s Light, is this really worth five thousand glimmer? ’ ]
Vega let out a short laugh at that, though she didn’t intend on leaving this timestream anytime soon. Not without a fight, anyway. She took another quick look at the description, before her eyesight caught his raised arm, and she took his hand with her own, giving a short shake. “Vega-5. Coincidental.” She noted, before releasing his limb and giving a short nod.
“There’s an underground entrance to the Garden under Freehold, in the old subway network. I’ll meet you there.” She told him, before turning and dissipating into her ship, which soon took off towards the red planet.

[ ‘ See anything interesting out there tonight, Hunter? ’ ]
It’s quiet in the Cosmodrome, like even the Eliksni have retired for the night, and Covenant’s Queenbreaker’s Bow hangs limply from his arms. He even dares to take off his helmet, turning it into raw data as his optics flicker in the natural darkness, reflecting on the passing Guardian’s armor momentarily.

That’s comforting. Not. At least once or twice is better than none at all, like a certain someone who’s pointedly not gone there. He shifts and then gives something out akin to a sigh, an unnecessary action but a habitual one that he’s picked up.
[ ‘ Well, if they’re going to start handing out missives for the Black Garden, I guess I should start familiarizing myself with this place... If we end up getting thrown into a transdimensional vortex, I hope it’s one that spits us out somewhere where I can get an eating function. ’ ]
He shrugs, dismissing the missive to his Ghost; he holds out his upper right arm towards the other Exo, saying,
[ ‘ Name’s Covenant-5, by the way. I’ll meet you on Mars whenever you’re ready. ’ ]
Vega raised her head as she heard the other Exo’s voice, and something akin to a smile - or her best attempt at one - crossed her features. Even Guardians weren’t entirely immune to fear. Certain places like the Black Garden and the Dreadnought weren’t popular places to do patrols, let alone visit.
“Once or twice.” She admitted with a light shrug. “I don’t make a habit of going there, but a mission’s a mission, and if there’s two of us it shouldn’t be too difficult. Although I’m not exactly sure what’d happen if you tried to hand it to someone else. Never tried it myself.”

This is... harder than he anticipated. The hammer forms again in his upper right hand and he pulls back to throw all three again... and the excess energy simply propels him forward, up the hill the first hammer had exploded over. He tries to pull back at the same time the energy stops pulling him forward and he promptly falls on his ass and for a moment, he simply sits there and sighs.
Well, until he realizes he’s burning the grass around him to which he tries to stand up with a yelp and merely trips over his feet and tumbles down the hill, coming to a stop at the feet of another Titan.
[ ‘ This is... exactly what it looks like... ’ ]
[ @covcnant ]
Another day of bounty missives, another day of menial tasks that needed to be done for the City. Though he would happily do them. Anything that helped their survival was not beyond him in most cases. It was always interesting to see fellow Guardians out and about too. Odd, sometimes. They had the whole planet to explore and here they were.
Saint-14 perks up at the sound of a Hammer of Sol, head turning away from the dead Fallen he was scavenging materials from. Standing tall he waits to see where the other Guardian was coming from, though instead he sees a hammer fly through the air in a long arch and explode a moment later.
What was the other Titan trying to do?

@oldguard-nighthawk
It seems that everyone is in the habit of killing gods these days. Staring down at his missive, Covenant-5 speculates that he might as well be joining in on the god-killing as well. He looks over at the other Guardian that has the same missive, another Exo, and his plating canters down into a frown as he asks her,
[ ‘ Have you ever been to the Black Garden? I haven’t heard good things about it ever since it’s opened up. Do you think we’ll get in trouble for giving the missive to someone else? ’ ]

[ ‘ You’re one of those Humans from that weird ship, aren’t you? How’d you get here? ’ ]
Purple optics look over the ivory armor curiously, upper arms crossing as the lower ones rest at his hips, leaning back into a relaxed position.
He’d seen a couple of the Humans running around, dressed down in strange looking power-armor of some sort, and the Exo had done his best to maintain his distance -- one, because they were strange and last time he discovered something strange, it tried to kill him; two, because he wanted to spare them from his curious questioning and strange appearance. But since he came across one of them, he might as well indulge until he got bored or... something else came up.
[ ‘ Are you really from outside the Sol System? Past the Reef? ’ ]
