Summer Stone Fruits
Here is a simple list of a few common (to my area) stone fruits and their magical correspondences. I won't go into details, just a simple list straight from my own grimoire.
Apricot: Warmth, healing, helping anxiety, beauty, elegance, love, happiness and positivity, learning.
Cherry: Love, sex, fertility, divination, feminity, friendship, blood.
Mango: Prosperity, joy, love, friendship, closeness.
Nectarine: Love, sweetness, strength, stability, memory, nurturing.
Peach: Creativity, joy, fun, sweetness, fertility, warding, banishing
Plum: Love, sleep, lust, transition, grace, elegance, sophistication. Especially helpful in spells focusing on helping transitioning genders (for all my other trans witches out there).
Blessed be <3

Mind-Clearing Grapefruit Marmalade
Tumblr media
Grapefruit is a cleansing, purifying fruit. It can help cleanse the mind of doubt and negativity while helping keep your thoughts pure and focused.
As someone who actually loves marmalade, I created a very simple marmalade recipe that needs only one grapefruit and a bit of sugar. This recipe can help cleanse your mind while both cooking and eating it. You can add whatever other favors you want to it (lemon would be great, as it has energetic properties) and incorporate their uses in it as well.
Onto the recipe!
You will need:
One grapefruit: Cleansing, purifying
3/4 cup of sugar: Invoking sweetness
1 tsp of vanilla extract: Self-appreciation
A pot
A vegetable peeler
A knife
A cutting board
Instructions:
Cleanse your kitchen.
Wash your fruit thoroughly and use moon water to rinse it off. You can also use a sat scrub to cleanse it further, both spiritually and physically. Once that's over, peel one large strip of grapefruit peel. Set aside.
Cut your fruit into wheel slices and poke out any seeds. Using the tip of your knife, carefully, carefully, cut off the peel and pith. Too much of these will turn your marmalade very bitter but make decent cleansing tea.
In your pot, add your zest strip, fruit, and sugar. Stir it well until all of the fruit is covered in sugar. Over medium-high heat, cook it all down while stirring constantly. Mash up the fruit with a fork or potato masher until all of the fruit is liquified and as smooth as you can get it. (This is when you can add powdered herbs, lemon pieces, etc)
Reduce heat to low and cook at a simmer until it can coat the back of a spoon thickly. This should take about 10-12 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Remove the peel of zest and perform the fridge test. This is done by placing a collop of marmalade on a small plate and sticking it in the fridge or freezer until it's completely cooled. If you want it thicker, continue cooking the marmalade. (This is also when you want to remove any chunks like herbs or lemon chunks)
Once it's to your liking, remove the marmalade off of the heat and cool SLIGHTLY before putting it in a heat-safe container with a lid.
This should keep in the fridge for about a month. It's tasty on toast, ice cream, or as an additive to a citrus cake! It can also be a good offering for homesteading, nature, or fruit-related dieties. The scraps of grapefruit can be used in tea or even candied.
As always everyone, blessed be, and happy witching <3

Peaches
To follow up with an earlier post about summer stone fruits, I want to delve a little deeper into what may be my favorite: peaches.
Tumblr media
Peaches are a symbol of fertility, love, wisdom, and acceptance. Although the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks fertility is often reproduction or sexual desires, fertility comes in many forms. It can mean a fertile life with plenty of room for growth, it can mean watering your seeds of patience, and so much more. Of course, that's depending on how one uses it.
Dried peaches: As with any dried ingredient like spices, herbs, and other fruits, dried peaches have a multitude of uses. Brew tea with strawberries and apples to help invoke thoughts of self-love and appreciation, or add into a spell jar to invoke love into your life (be it friendship, romance, or otherwise). You can also use dried peaches as incense, adding it into your normal smoke cleanse to cleanse your space of harmful thoughts and help invoke self-caring or love. Fresh peaches: In my opinion, fresh peaches are the best peaches. Use fresh peach into lemonade to add thoughts of love into your day, or induce loving dreams at night. Eat whole and raw to invoke love into your life. The fruit can be diced and added into recipes for loved ones as a token of love, and splitting a peach with your romantic partner increases the love bond between you. Only with consent. Peach pits: Wear the pits to help ward off evil thoughts and those with conditional love. They can also be added into sachets or wear it as an amulet/pendant to invoke fertility and love. Remember that when you do that, rub the pit with herbs or spices that represent the kind of fertility you desire: to have a baby, to grow into a better life, etc Of course, peaches are more than just a magical ingredient. It can also just be a delicious healthy treat for some of us who crave something sweet!
As always, blessed be, my friends. <3

Apple Magic
Buckle up cowboys 'cause it's apple time.
In case y'all haven't noticed, I love apples. Apple juice, applesauce, apple crisp, apple pie, apple crumble, apple cider... it's absolutely one of my favorite fruits (second only to strawberries). But other than being delicious and nutritious - it's also superstitious.
Okay, that was a bad word to use, but I really wanted a rhyme.
Tumblr media
APPLES!
Let's get down to the basics. Apples represent a whole ton of good, wholesome things. As seen in my Apple Cider Homesteading Spell post, we know that apples represent love, luck, prosperity, and healing. But what they can also represent is garden magic (which is exactly what it sounds like), fertility, and in some cases, lust/sexual tension. Apples are often offered to gods and goddesses of fertility.
But how do I use apples, Ander? Well for one, you can make me a pie. And for two, that's a great question. Let's make a quick list of ways I enjoy using apples in my witchcraft.
Kitchen Magic. As you all know, I am most aligned with being a Green, Kitchen, or Herbal witch. Cooking is a love language and so is infusing my food with magic to help those I love. Make an apple pie for your partner, made apple cider with your best friend, bake apple dumplings for your sister. Food can be infused with your intentions just like any other tool.
Offerings. For a house blessing, cut an apple in half. Eat half of it, and place the other half outside your front door. This will invite in a good future for your home!
Hanging Blessings. If you have a dehydrator, thinly slice an apple into slices and let them get crispy. You can add whatever you like! Orange slices, cloves, nutmeg.... you get the idea. Once they're all dry, string them onto some twine and drape it across your doorway to invite love, luck, and friendship into your life.
Samhain Burning. With preferably dry apple pieces, burn them after a silent dinner to honor those who may be reborn in the spring. It's a sign of respect and thankfulness.
As always my lovely creepy crawlies, practice in a cleansed space and be safe! Blessed be

The Ultimate Beginner Money Jar
Tough times lead to magical measures. Here's the recipe to my ultimate money jar that's beginner-friendly.
What you will need
A medium jar with a lid
A green candle
A pen
A bay leaf
A star anise pod
A dollar bill/paper cash
Twine
1 tbs basil
1 tbs cardamom
1 tbs cinnamon
1 tbs ground cloves
1 tbs nutmeg
1 tbs rice
1 tbs sea salt
(Optional: Citrine, Tiger's Eyes, or Clear Quartz piece)
What you will do
Cleanse your jar and money with your preferred method, then write "financial gain" onto your bay leaf.
Add in your salt, basil, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and rice in that order.
Place your bill flat against the counter and place the bay leaf on top. Roll the bill tightly and tie shut with twine, adding multiple knots. The more knots, the stronger the effect.
Add it into your jar and cap the entire affair, sealing it with green wax.
(If you have a crystal, press it on top of the wax while it's still hot and let it seal on.)
How to make the most out of it
Magic won't fix all of your problems. If you work, keep working: this just might help you get a bonus, raise, or large tip from a nice customer.
If you don't work or if you're on disability/waiting for disability, seek out ways to try and make a little cash under the table. This just may help you find something for an extra bit of gasoline or pet food. Keep in mind that spell jars are only as powerful as the intentions set behind them!
Blessed be y'all, and good luck out there <3

Bell Peppers
Bell peppers are a favorite of mine when it comes to cooking, and not just because I think they're delicious. They're also very magical, with tons of amazing properties that can aid just about anyone. I could almost compare it to basil in that manner, where they're good for just about any problem you might have.
Bell peppers, in general, represent love, energy, creativity, mental prowess, protection, wealth, warding, desire, strength, energy, and prosperity. However, there are multiple colors of bell pepper, so let's go over some details of each of them.
Red peppers are especially effective for anything to do with love, strength, and desire.
Orange ones are often used for magic involving creativity and financial success.
Yellow is very good to use for anything involving energy, focus, and intelligence.
Green peppers are wonderful for money, self-awareness, and love magic.
Purple ones can be commonly seen used in knowledge and wisdom magics.
While cooking, I also like to use blessed oil and moon water, so those properties are also accompanied by the properties of those. It's an easy, tasty way to incorporate magic into your cooking, so I hope y'all give it a shot!
As always, do your research, be safe, and blessed be.

Forgiveness Oil
Sometimes forgiveness is difficult. There are times when it's impossible to forgive someone, and that's okay. Forgiveness is not necessarily a part of healing. But when small things happen and you're holding a grudge that you don't want to be holding, that grudge can weigh us down like bricks on our shoulders. If you believe in metaphysics and witchcraft, I've come up with a version of blessed oil that may help you.
This oil is extremely versatile. It can be used in spell jars, as a candle anointing oil, as well as anything else you can imagine. It's also completely edible so it can be incorporated into kitchen magic. It won't taste very good though, so, warning on that.
What you need:
A glass jar or a few dropper bottles
A jar with a sealable lid
Blender
Bowl or cup
Funnel
Fine mesh sieve
1/2 cup of liquid coconut oil (purification)
1 tablespoon dried rosemary (healing, good health, removing negativity)
1 tablespoon dried basil (healing, love, sympathy, protection, dispelling negativity)
1 tablespoon dried onion (dispelling negativity)
1 tablespoon coffee grounds (dispelling negative thoughts)
2 large dried dandelion leaves (defeating negativity)
What you'll do:
Add oil, herbs, and dandelion leaves into a blender and blend for several seconds or until it's as smooth as it can get. Feel free to stop it and let it rest for a few minutes before blending it again.
Pour the mixture into your jar with a lid and let this chill out on your counter (or in a cupboard) for a week, shaking it frequently.
Once the week is up, strain your mixture through a fine mesh sieve into your funnel, filling either a jar or a few dropper bottles.
And it's as simple as that! Like I said before, it's super versatile, so really use your imagination to use it. Spell jars are my personal go-to, but I also add a few drops to my cooking oil (just a few because it doesn't taste very good) and I've also used it as cuticle oil.
As always, do your research, rest when you need to, and blessed be.

Moon Water Bubble Cleanser
Want to introduce your little ones to some easy witchcraft? How about bubbles? Everyone loves bubbles. The idea is fairly simple. By mixing salt with water, we can make a simple cleansing spray, right? Well, why not mix that cleansing spray with a little dish soap or bubble liquid to make a fun, yet cleansing activity with the kids? It's a simple process.
Here's what you'll do.
When your bubble solution is running low or is empty, dissolve 1/2 tbsp of salt into 1/2 cup of hot moon water.
Once that is dissolved, let it cool down to room temperature before mixing it in with at least triple the amount (so 1.5 cups) of liquid soap (dawn dish soap is more environmentally friendly and makes great bubbles).
Pour into your bubble liquid vessel and cap it with the bubble wand.
And that's it! It's easy, it's fun, and most importantly, it's a good way to teach your kids about your practices. Explain to them what salt and moon water do as you make it, or even let the older kiddos help you. It's great bonding time!
As always, do your research, be safe, and blessed be.

Prosperity Oil
I have many different recipes for oils, balms, and solutions, but this prosperity oil just might take the cake. It's a passionate, hyper-charged oil that's great not only for prosperity, but for luck as well. Let's get right into it.
What you'll need:
2-3 weeks
A jar with a lid
1.5 cups olive oil (money, peace)
1 acorn (power)
3 bay leaves (manifestation, good fortune, success)
1 stick of cinnamon (power, luck, prosperity, success)
1 tbsp whole cloves (money)
1 tbsp allspice berries (money, luck, treasure)
1 tbsp sea salt (cleansing)
1 tbsp dried ginger (prosperity)
What you'll do:
Make sure all of your herbs are dry. Add all of your ingredients into a jar and give it a good, heavy shake.
Set it in a dark corner somewhere and let it infuse for 2-3 weeks, giving it a good shake every few hours when you're awake and thinking about it.
All done! Your oil is now ready to use!
If you're extra like me, you can strain your oil and put it into an old olive oil bottle with a spout. This makes it much easier to add to spell jars and helps you control how much you use without too much of a mess with measuring spoons.
As always, do your research, be safe, and blessed be!

Patience Oil
Sometimes life just isn't it, and we get a little impatient with ourselves. We start to spiral when we can't do the things we should be doing, and it just ends up making us feel bad. Sometimes we need a little help being patient with ourselves, and that's okay. So, here is my simple recipe for an herbal oil I like to add to self-care and patience spell jars. I hope it does you well.
What you'll need:
A jar with a lid
Another jar or some dropper bottles
Blender
Funnel
Fine mesh sieve
1/2 cup of olive oil (promoting peace)
3 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
1 tablespoon dried parsley (well-being)
A small handful of dried gardenia petals (repelling strife, promoting peace)
A small handful of dried hyacinth flowers (peace of mind)
A spoonful of dried lavender (peacefulness, patience, healing)
What you'll do:
Add oil, parsley, and flowers into a blender and blend for several seconds. The more you blend, the fast it'll incorporate. Feel free to pause your blending for a few moments and then continue.
Pour the mixture into your jar with a lid and leave out on your counter (or in a cupboard) for about a week, shaking or swirling it often.
Strain your mixture through a fine mesh sieve into your funnel, filling either a jar or your dropper bottles.
And you're done! Use this in spell jars, add a few drops to a bath, or even add to an oil warmer to infuse your room with its goodness. Just remember that even with magical help, improvement comes from the self. This won't solve your problem; it's merely a helping hand.
As always, do your research, be safe, and blessed be!

Dispelling Negativity Kitchen Spell - Vietnamese Coffee Popsicles
Is it winter? Yes. Did I just eat two popsicles? Also yes.
As a kitchen witch, I tend to cook and make things that are influenced by my craft. I've already shared a few kitchen spells, such as an apple cider homesteading spell and a strawberry self-love spell. This recipe is simple and easy to make, so enjoy!
What you'll need:
Microwaveable bowl
Popsicle mold and popsicle sticks
1 cup of fresh, hot coffee: Helps dispel negative thoughts, including nightmares that haunt you
1/3 cup of sweetened condensed milk: The sugar invokes sweetness.
What you'll do:
Preheat the condensed milk in the microwave for 30 seconds, then mix it and the hot coffee together until homogenous.
Pour the mix into the mold with a popsicle stick and put it into the freezer overnight or until solid.
To remove, run the mold under hot water just for a few seconds or until it's easy to pull the popsicles from the mold.
It's easy, delicious, and effective! Plus you get a little energy boost from the coffee, unless you choose to use decaf.
Remember y'all, do your research, have fun, and blessed be!
