Ethan doesn’t normally struggle with walking— nor, despite what someone might think on first glance at his eyes— achieving equilibrium. No, he’s perfectly capable of both of these things.

So when he stumbles a little, quite randomly, pressing a hand to his dizzy head, it’s weird. It’s super weird.

He looks up to see if anyone else is acting strangely, especially one of his own siblings, or maybe—

He can’t be sure how he knows to look at cabin thirteen, but he does, searching for any hint that something is up.

Catching the eyes of someone else on him, he scowls and mutters, “Some big balance of the world just righted itself. But it’s… more complicated than that.”

I'll give it a couple more hours for any enterprising puzzle solvers who want the chance to do the cipher, before something makes it much easier to find a certain friend :)

Oh, so I started on the ToA series today! I'm almost done with the 3rd book ;-; I've been really enjoying how one of the oracles gives out her prophecies as puzzles, as a cryptography fan myself! And how it deals with old roman emperors; what a creative new expansion to the world!
