She's has the worst of times to match her morals, ok? There's that but Locked Tomb spoilers ahead if you want more. There it goes ...

She is above average but not exceptional unless you count she is the daughther of the Chief of the Admiralty. But onto what she has done/suffered : first she gets her lieutenant (they work in matched pairs in the story ) beaten up when she put her against what she thought was the weakest of the group that turned out to be more powerful than anyone could predict.Then she got said lieutenant killed horribly by a mistake she made.

Got captured by the enemies that do not let her die and instead use her special habilities to maneuver a ship . The woman she's been pining for twelve years is also there trying to convince her to deflect and change sides or at least let her take the place of her dead lieutenant to be by her side but she does neither preferring to suffer in silence.

Finally she was taken to another location where she was tortured for six months due being exposed to a blue orb that drive those with her habilities into madness .

All this because of a misplaced sense of loyalty to an imperializing emperor and she doesn't even have her own ship ! "

Okay we ALL know the drill by now, so let's just get down to business. I'm going to make a concluding post about the previous vote event thing when I get around to it, but for now I'm going to do the marginally easier thing and open nominations for a newer bracket. This bracket isn't going to start until some other brackets in the fandom conclude, there's nothing that urgent abt this tbh.

The Entirety Of Lifesteal SMP (Lifesteal SMP) vs The Greater Mana Polycule (JRWI Riptide)

Lifesteal Propaganda: They literally murder each other and are also best friends and hate each others guts and they're all kinds of fucked up but would also kill for each other They are all so horrible and fucked up. On their server they have the most convoluted web of hatred and betrayal and alliance and friendship and they’d kill each other for not even one cookie but the second they’re off server or in front of other people they are an unstoppable force who always has each others backs. Except for when it’s funny to fuck them over. Someone once referred to their relationship tangle as “complex polyamorous divorce” they love each other they hate each other they’d kill for each other and at the end of the day they’d all settle down into one big cuddle pile with only a few arguments. Because they’ve pack bonded and tied themselves together in the most complex and fuckef up qpr to ever exist and I think more QPRs should involve killing a man and then instantly teaming with him. Only to betray him again

Greater Mana Polycule Propaganda: so many. so many. everything is connected. the world of the navy and pirates is so queer. they should win by sheer numbers alone So like the relationships between all the characters are fascinating and really meaningful and often very silly but also I just think it's funny. I polyship *everything* and I almost exclusively ship things queerplatonically so you bet your ass I'm gonna love a queerplatonic polycule containing basically every character who exists in the story they're so silly and queer. also what's more qpr than a pirate crew (and the surrounding pirate world i guess)

Lincoln, Taylor, Scary, and Normal propaganda: - canonically got married for tax benefits, if you count surviving space a tax benefit. - Lincoln proceeds to start giving everyone pet names after getting married even though he feels the strongest about the marriage being platonic. - might solely be my opinion but them convincing scary to stay in the group by hugging her while inside of a burning building that they caused - whatever Taylor and Lincoln have/hj Ohhh boy Starting with 1. They all literally got married. In space. Out of necessity. But they got married!! 2. They are all so dumb and crushing on each other like. just get together already 3. Jsst. Imagine them all. holding hands.

Ashe, Dakota, Vyncent, and William propaganda: (PD Spoilers) The main motivation of prime defenders S2 is the other three fighting to save Ashe from a demon whose possessing her and wreaking havoc over prime! They've fought through people and things much more powerful than them just to save her from the demon she summoned to save them its been repeatedly said that these four are going to stick together no matter what happens to them, one of them sacrificed himself to save the others and as a result they have spent the past season of a show going through literal hell and back trying to save him. they deserve this

Gillion, Chip, and Jay (JRWI Riptide) vs Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo (DSMP)

Gillion, Chip, and Jay propaganda: They're three gay ass pirates who; despite coming from very different backgrounds, found eachother and formed the riptide pirates! All three of them are co-captains on their crew and they're trying to destroy the government HI HI HI I ALREaDY SUBMITTED FISH AND CHIPS AND IN THIS AREA I tALKED ABOUT HOW I WISHED JAY WAS ALLOWED AND THEN I SAW YOU ANSWER THAT ASK THAT SAID YOU CAN HAVE MORE THAN 2 PEOPLE SO IM SUBMITTING THE ALBATRIO INSTEAD THANK YOU LOVE YOU Gillion is canonically asexual and shipped with both Jay and Chip respectively. I just think they are all very queer and platonically in love is all. I love polyamory. Put those guys in a relationship.

Ranboo and Tubbo are canonically married, semi-canonically platonically so. Tubbo and Tommy have known each other for years, and have an understanding of each other that no one else does. Tommy and Ranboo went through a very awkward and begrudging beginning of their friendship, but Ranboo would go on to make Tommy's grave when he died.

I want to start off by stressing that these 3 are characters and are not at all connected to the real world creators that portrayed them aside from having the same name.

c!Ranboo and c!Tubbo were canonically married, with the nature of their marriage being largely ambiguous and up for interpretation! They live together in a mansion with their adopted child, Michael, a tiny baby piglin! c!Tommy was never an official part of their marriage, but the three spent so much time together(before the series' writing took a very unfortunate turn due to behind the scenes stuff) that they might as well have been a qpr polycule! It is confirmed that c!Ranboo(an 8'5 foot tall enderman hybrid) can only look 2 people directly in the eyes with it being STRONGLY implied those 2 people were c!Tommy and c!Tubbo! Their relationship didn't get as much time as it needed due to the series's unfortunate downturn near the end, but while it was there, it was a very comforting, very tender relationship between 3 traumatized young queer teens who were their for one another through their journeys in healing from their various traumas. Also one time c!Tommy and c!Ranboo got high together in a tiny smoke box they made(they also met when Ranboo hit him on the head with a giant flower. An allium, to be specific!).

She is the chosen one and was trained to be her whole life but she just decided that she didnt want to do that and so now her little brother is doing it while she goes and tries to live a normal life in the face of apocalypse. Also shes mean as shit and she loves anime. Like she really loves anime.

lizzie is the sort of older sister of chip (they spent a few years on the same pirate ship when they were kids and are trauma bonded) and she was also ava's lover. she's willing to start a war for her. she's also fucking sick as hell, she has a chain whip and a magic eye that shoots lasers. she's a bit mean sometimes but she's very sweet underneath it all

thought her little brother was dead for ten years but hey they reunited and they have such a great dynamic. She's also Ayva's girlfriend! She watched he die and then was blamed for her murder! Great times

EDYN TIDESTRIDER:

ok so. worldbuildy stuff upfront: the planet called mana is essentially split into three factions: raft (land government), pirates (the good guys essentially), and the undersea (under the sea). the undersea is where edyn is from. edyn is the older sister of gillion tidestrider, champion of the sun and moon goddesses, hero of the prophecy, foretold to save the world (half of it technically. and he's gotta make the choice which half. how fun!). he was taken by the government ("the elders") to be trained when he was 5 and edyn was 11, maybe earlier. edyn was the only person who ever visited gillion and he was not allowed to leave the palace. especially after finn (their grandfather) left for his research gillion pretty much only had edyn as his teachers and the elders seem to disdain him, and think him a failure. edyn was allowed to visit fairly regularly in the beginning but gradually her visits became more and more spaced out until eventually she wasn't allowed to see her brother at all anymore. after not hearing anything from him for a while she starts to worry something is wrong, that he might be dead, so she leaves the undersea to do her own research and fix everything. she joins the navy (raft controlled) in order to maybe fight the undersea? or gain information? we don't really know yet. when gillion was ten she also gifted him a pet frogtopus (frog/octopus hybrid) named pretzel because he was so lonely. and pretzel has been firmly at his side ever since (i could write a whole essay about pretzel as a stand in for edyn) edyn would do anything for her little brother. literally anything. and i love her. also she's hot and super sweet and she should kill the elders. girls can have a little murder. as a treat <3

She's literally the older sister ever, she was the only person who cared about her little brother while he was being trained to be a champion, and now that shes seen how happy he is away from the place he grew up him shes on a girlboss arc trying to burn it all down (as much as you can do that underwater) shes the best. she loves her brother, Gillion, a million, thats what she closes her letters with. its adorable

AVA FERIN:

ava. man.... what a tragic bitch. she's been dead from the beginning of the campaign. she was in the navy, daughter of one of the vice admirals, part of the most influential navy family. she had a gay enemies to lovers romance with a pirate and then got killed by her own superior and then framed as a martyr. her younger sister jay then leaves the navy to go undercover as a pirate to find out what happened to her (all she was told is that ava was slain in a battle against pirates). ava is literally the 'haunts the narrative' archetype. she never once shows up, not even in a flashback, but the entire story is drenched in her lack of presence. she and her death and her image and her reputation are the motivators of countless characters in the campaign. her sister only joined pirates and then later betrayed the navy because ava died, her ex lover is starting a whole war with the navy over her death, there's multiple navy soldiers who have talked about how ava was the reason they wanted to fight in the navy, one of the main antagonists so far is ava's dad who is driven by grief, the list goes on. also she was a fucking badass.

I KNOW WE NEVER MET HER BUT SHE MEANT EVERYTHING TO JAY OKAY!!!!!!! SHE WAS SO GOOD TO HER!!!!!!!!!!!

She never has a single appearance in the show because she's dead but their absence effects every single character they left behind, including their little sister and their girlfriend (thats right, lesbians) she is also my favorite ever she must win.

BLUEY HEELER:

bluey is a great sister to bingo she loves her and their relationship goes far beyond the surface. also bluey is a masterpiece.
