Hello! I was just curious to when you will begin your international shipping? I understand that there have been a few weather concerns over in America, I was just wondering if there is an estimate dispatch date?

I’m starting to ship them off tomorrow! I’m filling out all the customs forms right now for everyone not in the US! I’m so sorry for the wait!

Hi, I’m very new to Voltron and curious to why this ship is called cotton candy?

Hello! Welcome to Voltron! The ship is called Cotton Candy because Lance is Blue and Allura is Pink and those two colors are the most common colors for Cotton Candy hence the ship name! Their other ship name is Allurance!

Is shipping the rest of the bundles going to start again soon?

The shipping process is going to be a long one and i’m so sorry you guys! I’m going to start sending out more bundles for international orders on Monday of next week(when I get paid again so I can print off shipping labels). I’m so sorry this is taking to long! Will you be sending out the zine bundles soon?

Hello!

We have already started shipping out domestic bundles to people in the US, but right now I’m going to stop since I’m in the line of Hurricane Florence and I don’t want anything damaged going to anyone. I want everyone to have everything perfect and not all soggy and wet if it gets damaged in route.

After the hurricane passes through I will resume with domestic large bundles and then I’ll go onto international orders by bundles as well.

I’m so sorry this is taking so long to get everything out to you guys but I hope you guys can be patient for just a little longer.

Production Update!

We have gotten all of our paper merch in! Aren’t they all so amazing! If you want the beautiful bookmark, sticker, and a postcard you can STILL order the Zine Only bundle UNTIL WEDNESDAY in our shop HERE!!

We are going to order the Zines themselves this week as well as the charms and standee! After that, we’re done!

Production Update!

Hello everyone!

So this is just a quick little update on everything that has happened in the past couple of days! It’s been an exciting couple of days that for sure!

First off! We have reopened preorders! You can find the link HERE!

We are only open until July 18th! Be sure to buy yours quick before we close shop again!

Next is we have ordered all of the paper merch! That means we have ordered all of the stickers, the postcards, and the bookmarks! The next things we’re going to order are going to be the charms, button, and the standee! Once the second round of preorders are closed we will be sending out the new and improved PDF file of the Zine to the printers to go ahead and get the printing done!

This is all so exciting! We’re doing this you guys! Get excited!

A big warm welcome to @riddlerlance for hopping back on the mod team after a much needed break for irl reasons. It’s good to have you back!!

That being said, I am stepping away and letting riddlerlance take over. Mostly. I am still here, just more on the sidelines, but I will still be answering questions, running the blog and Discord server, and making sure everything goes smoothly. 

A bit of bad news. We are underbudget. I fudged up big time and didn’t account for shipping charges when accumulating funds. Take away the funds for shipping, we are about $300 short, give or take. There’s the rub when it comes to running a zine. It’s very, very expensive work and when you don’t get enough orders in, this is what happens. Normally, I would have no issue covering those funds myself and be done with it, but that still wouldn’t give us profit for charity even if I had the money and not car maintenance and moving expenses to worry about for the next few months. 

Here is the public sheet breaking down our expenses. 

What does this mean for the zine project itself?

Well, we’re still doing it, obviously. Everyone participating in this project has been made aware of what’s happened, and we are all scrambling to do what we can to get that $300 to cover production costs plus more for charity, the point of this zine to begin with. We will be reopening preorders for the PDF Only and Zine Only bundles, since there seems to be some interest, within the next week. Those preorders probably won’t close for a while. 

We are also looking into companies that can offer us better prices for the merch, though it looks like I’ve already found the best prices at our given quantities. Still, we’re doing what we can to make sure we leave no stone unturned. 

Which means shipping has been delayed again. For that, I am really, really sorry. There’s really nothing more we can do in the meantime. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I’ll update as much as I can as we move forward. Thank you for your support and your understanding in this fiasco.
