Hi! You may recognize me as the moron that runs @diavolo-is-babygirl. If you don’t, hi anyway, my name is Courtney! I’m super stoked to finally share a new story that’s been brewing in my mind for a while now—a project that’s tentatively called ‘Find Your Flame’ (after the Sonic Frontiers song lmao). It’s a tale about courage, friendship, and the magic of unexpected bonds that form under the pressure of high stakes. As the world of Cosmoball prepares for a new season, two unlikely friends, Reid and Kyrie, will discover how intertwined their fates truly are.

I even came up with a little blurb to help picture this as an actual, published novel:

Kyrie Lawson was always destined for greatness—so they say. As a young captain and the Prince of Prophecy, he bears a rare Elementia that hasn’t been seen in centuries. But expectations are heavy, and Coach Stone’s relentless cruelty only pushes him closer to the edge. Reid Hawkins, an assistant coach new to the team, sees a spark in Kyrie’s resilience that reminds him of his brother, a former Cosmoball star who lost his battle with the pressures of the game. When Kyrie’s Elementia begins changing in strange and dangerous ways, Reid must risk everything to protect him. And as they face Wraiths, dark prophecies, and the weight of the world, they’ll need to lean on each other in ways they never expected.

In Find Your Flame, readers will find elements of magical sports, high-stakes rivalry, and an emotional journey about two characters learning to trust themselves—and each other. This story explores themes of destiny, courage, and finding strength in friendship when everything else falls apart.

I hope you’ll join Kyrie and Reid on their journey as they navigate the trials of Cosmoball. Hi. If you're on the fence about playing Love & Deepspace, but may not give it a go because of the female MC, I have a few ideas that may help you.

• Create a MC that's entirely laughable. Don't take the Create an MC process seriously at all. Just make an MC with a super high/deep voice and/or a wacky design.

• Create an MC with a deep voice and/or androgynous features.

• Turn the voice off. Find a voice claim for your MC and imagine that as you play.

• Use Picrew to create your own vision of a Male MC. Create Pinterest boards for him too.

If it's too difficult for you to just pick it up and play because of the female MC, maybe one of those ideas will help.
