Just finished part 1 of the iwtv book and while I knew it was different I didn't know it was that much.

I did enjoy picturing young Daniel again in that apartment talking to Louis I will not lie. Though I believe he looks a lot more scared in the book. (You can totally see how little she cared about Daniel already like, just boy, not even a name and it has been 156 pages and even Louis mentioned someone called Daniel and nothing, it's funny) also like, they killed Lestat and he was back before they even left, and their house in Rue Royale burnt.

Also, I don't know, but is the young musician Nicky?? Like I don't believe they say if he plays the violin, actually, Lestat talks about piano only, and he turns him, though maybe he's antoniette, which would also makes sense.

Louis also is very contradictory, like he says he hates Lestat all the time and that he is a fool or stupid and then goes on saying he was really smart and talks about how he couldn't even look at Claudia after he killed him, like, he was ready to leave her, he said he wouldn't only bc she appeared to be a child to others, but he didn't even want to see her or touch her after the poisoning and he felt compelled to let himself sink into the swamp with Lestat as well.

Like, that doesn't sound like you hate him all that much mister but okay, also Louis did mention he would occasionally tell Lestat that he liked his company and Lestat would be the one to draw back.

I'm suspecting maybe things didn't go exactly as Louis said but idk I'll keep reading.

So I realized after reading a devil's minion fic in which Armand kind of traps Daniel inside his head for a while and like he ends up getting all these memories of them being together before back that it /can/ happen like when Louis was "What did Alice say?" And Daniel got all sad while saying "She said no." Armand quickly goes on to add "She wanted to say yes but she didn't trust you, you hadn't given her any reason to do it." Like, excuse me??? How do you know that??? As far as I'm concerned you can read minds and all but to search for Alice in the world and find that exact memory and feeling you would need more than just the two seconds it took you to start talking.

Like how did Armand know? And know it already, like, he said it as if he knew from before and unless they're giving us something I find it really particular how Armand knew, like we need an explanation.

Also, I saw someone talking about the memoir and how the top part of it is blurred giving a clue about Armand playing with his memories, but like, I really do hope they're giving us more young devil's minion and also old devil's minion.

(This probably was discussed before and ppl already know more or whatever but I just saw the series and I'm slow to pick this kind of things up so I don't care, let me have my realization time)

I really like Lestat, but I also feel so desperately sad watching the show bc I feel like I'm like him, filled with so much yearning, longing for love, loving someone desperately and so profoundly it is toxic, being self-destructive as well, and yet never wanting to let go of the ones I love, being jealous and insecure and a total drama.

I feel so desperate for love just like him, and that when I do, it's just too much for people, for anyone, I'm too much, I'm not perfect, and that possessiveness, that insecurity, those rash vicious decisions are the ones that lead to him being killed by the people he loved the most in the whole world.

So listen, Omega Jayce who has to get married bc of society rules/funds/anything really, and Cassandra is still his matron (?) So she has this summer party, or like, courting season, and she wants to present Jayce to alphas who will most likely shut him out of science and keep him inside a house all his life to be a good omega.

And then there's alpha Viktor who bc he's a zaunite they tell him he needs to get mated so he portrays a better image and in that he can get the support behind his research and projects to better the lives of the zaunites.

But like, of course, they don't get introduced to each other, Jayce has to deal with stuffy old-fashioned strict alphas, he struggles with self-doubt and wanting to make his mother happy by getting married, also bc he's 24 now and the Kirammans support is not unconditional, hes kind of desperate also bc he just wants to be free to continue his dream.

Viktor is straggling to fit in with the stereotypes, stuck between hating them all and needing support for this big project thay will help ppl.

And in a party, they meet while both of them are trying to avoid ppl, of course, there's misunderstandings, angst, pining, all that.

This is a very stupid thing to come to you as you are a stranger but I am in a very niche fandom in in and I love it but it san old fandom and a ghost town…as a gold fandom we don’t get much content..I am a terrible writer like really bad so but I really love the ships in the fandom..so I put a few prompts into ChatGPT cause I was curious cause my friends day ChatGPT is funny…is it ok to pay the prompts I made in ChatGPT is I say this dc was made in ChatGPT?

Okay so, like I know it's frustrating to have no content and yeah the only way is making it yourself or commissioning someone. I really don't like AI, like I really don't, much less for making any form of art, and Ikd what you're asking bc of the typos, but if you're talking about charging money for fics that were made with Chatgpt I hope you get banned from AO3 like, for real, thats horrible, I truly do hope it goes wrong.

Ai in general is bad in every way, for the environment, for ppl, for anything. I was a terrible writer as well when I started, but practice makes better and really, just try instead of using chatgpt bc in the end if you write your own stuff you'll get experience, and you'll grow, using chatgpt will simply rob you of any kind of growth and you'll have nothing but cheap entertainment without any real soul.

I really had never thought about it before actually, it does seem like a great idea, though, in canon it wouldn't have worked too well bc society often sees the men as the ones with power in a relationship so they would've said coryo was seduced or manipulated and more scepticism would’ve fallen on them bc they wouldn't take a girl as seriously as a man.

But Coryo being Coryo would still find a way to play it off, maybe even he would have been able to get away with it in the end before being sent to twelve bc like the capitol would totally bite into the defenceless girl and the district boy who took advantage of her pure heart or some shit.

Thinking about it, it's an inteesting concept, so yeah, give it a go :]

First Christmas I'm not going to spend with family which is terrifying bc they never gave me an option and they're traditional so Christmas has always been about being with family, even when they're homophobic, entitled and awful to us most of the time, but it is also nice I believe.

Made the mistake of making my coffee a bit too charged and now I feel like someone is going to come from behind me and hit me in the head with a bat.

But think this.

In the drops of sweetmilk au, imagine our Viktor hearing the news there's a revolt in the bridge. He panics, knows both his parents are elbow depe in Zaun politics and if theres a revolt they either know or are in there, so he scrambles to go check but then he bumps into this wall of a human.

This is Jayce, of course, but Viktor is just like "I need to get to the bridge" and Jayce seeing this stranger so worried and all just tries to calm him down, aviktor tells him to fuck off, but Jayce tries to help him either way, telling him its not safe to go down there bc of the revolt and possible war and all, but Viktor doesn't care.

Either way, somehow, they end up together trying to sneak into Zaun and go down to the last drop. Jayce uses his cute face to cheat security, and Viktor makes sure Jayce does not get killed in the undercity.

Here Vander doesn't try to murder Silco yet. Like he takes the girls home, is there, Silco is still out, Viktor arrives and is furious with his father, he screams at him actually, and then he sees Vi and Powder are there and his heart breaks all over bc his aunt and uncle just died, he doesn't know if his other father is alive. He hugs the kids and cries.

And there is Jayce, who doesn't know how he got into a mess, but now he won't abandon Viktor after seeing all of that.
