Crow let out a little huff, looking up at the man. He shook his head once. In his mind, he honestly felt like he should have come sooner,, should have tried to do this sooner than this..

He then paused, a look of guilt passing over his face. He shook his head,, then tilted it, as if trying convey an 'ehhhh,,,,' noise. Technically, Martha did,, kind of know. He left her a note telling her he was having a sleep over,, so.. she kinda did, kinda didnt..

It had taken Crow a while to actually find the apartment, his anxiousness seemingly messing with his usually good internal compass and knowledge of how to get around Gotham, and Scarecrow was hardly any help when it came to finding the place.

Though, of course, he did find it, practically dragging Scarecrow along with him. Crow didn't wanna have to be around Scarecrow any longer than he had to,, but he had to have someone there to make sure Eddie got home safely,,

That aside, as soon as Crow found the apartment, he knocked on the door. He then took a few steps back, just out of caution, standing next to Johnathan.

It took a few minutes before the door opened, click after click of locks being opened. Chime was the one who opened the door. He crosses his arms over his broad chest and gazes over his glasses at Crow. "Brozen," his eyes flick over to Dr. Crane. "and Onyx." He narrowed his eyes at Crow, his eyes shards of ice. "You were supposed to come alone... No matter." He takes a pair of handcuffs out of his cardigan pocket and tosses them to Crow. "Put those on."

As soon as the door opened, as soon as Crow saw Eddie,, he pratically threw himself at the man. It was,, an attempt at a hug, though it didnt work too well being he was handcuffed. He had missed Edward so damn much, spent so many days trying to get the man out,, just to finally achieve what he spent so mant sleepless nights trying to do.

'Needed to make sure Eddie got home safe. Couldn't do that myself, so I brought him,'

Crow signed, before taking a step forward away from Johnathan and taking the handcuffs, putting them on his wrists with just a small bit of struggle. He had to take a moment, coming to the terms that he had just essentially lost,, most all his ways of communicating, lacking a voice and all and now his hands being practically useless.

Crow gave a little nod, pulling the gun out of his hoodie pocket and handing it to Ed.

After handing him the gun, he wiped any remaining tears off his face, still sniffling every so often though.

*you were at the fire alarm about to push it since it was about to become 40 and then you feel something yank you by the back of your clothes. It was Ed and you can sense he was fuming about something. He looks slightly disheveled and had some weird substance on him look like slime.*

We're leaving now.

Crow let out a small squeak as he was yanked away from the fire alarm, stumbling over his own feet as he turned to walk next to Ed. He looked at him, then looked around slightly,, before looking back up at Ed.

'What?? What no-- no we cant leave without Eddie--'

He stared up at Ed with a pleading expression,, he didnt want to leave,, not without Eddie, not while knowing that Eddie was still being held hostage by Chime..

Crow moved a hand up to wipe the tears now falling down his face off his cheeks, another sniffle coming from the boy. He have a small nod.

'Mkay,, mkay we can do that,,'

He let out a small breath, trying to calm himself down. He was so desperate to get Eddie back,, it was making him into an absolute mess.
