i am also writing this from the perspective of someone who is a survivor of intrafamilial childhood torture. understand this. this is not a post about "antishipping" or "antikink" it is an assessment of my feelings towards CSA, kinks and how i've felt branching into the furry community specifically on tumblr. Understand this.

I feel a deep, deep sickness when i see how many people on this site have become pro incestfetish and pro "faux" pedophilia and ageplay because it is like i'm watching a story repeat itself. It's kind of horrifying and i'm shocked that no one else is really speaking out about it but it's kind of horrifying to see people my age in my peer group, even people i knew in the past, slowly become stuck on this idea of "its the only thing that arouses me so its the only thing i can get off to. its caused by my trauma so that means i'm not the abuser, i'm the victim. i get off to being the victim" because it's like, literally the messaging that pedophiles, groomers and abusers send to their child victims. That they have "corrupted" you sexually, and now you have to be just like them. I am watching my own peer group essentially drop like flies and fall for the propaganda their abusers nailed into their head, specifically because of the way social media and media itself treats survivors. It's kind of fucking terrifying, to be honest! ESPECIALLY with the way that people are tying that idea to specifically transfemininity, and transness as a whole.

There has been a massive influx of posts that are very much essentially "any form of sexual expression is good, and any form of sexual criticization is only adding to the facist antisex movement" and not only does it feel just laced with a need to be forgiven for having 'gross' fetishes (something you don't need. you don't need peoples forgiveness for inside thoughts. you can just have them.) but also, fascists and nazis LOVE pedophilia and incest. like pedophilia and incest is NOT a taboo kink, shaming it isn't "shaming gay people" it's shaming white rich people who are fucking their own cousins to keep their "bloodline" pure, and the fact that trans people are coming on here and making posts that are like "its ok for trans people to sexualize the idea of fucking their little sibling because theyve never had a childhood of their right gender, and that causes them to develop different ideas for familial relationships" is fucking insane to me. like genuinely, i don't know what to say. because it implies the concept of a nuclear family is something everyone has the "Right" to, when in reality, the nuclear family is a racist white supremacist ideal that doesn't fucking exist except for under strict white rule. and the problem is, THAT SUCKS! THAT SUCKS TO SAY TO SOMEONE WHOS A SURVIVOR OF GRAPHIC SHIT! most of these people who are making these posts ARENT pedophiles, they AREN'T "degenerates" they are open about their existence as survivors and the fact that they are roleplaying as the victims of their own scenarios. this is what is happening, do you understand that? this is why there are so many posts like this right now, its because our generation is a massive victim to grooming due to the unpreparedness our parents had for the internet and raising kids on it, and now people on tumblr are spinning this idea that "its ok to fantasize about being fucked as a child if you were fucked as a child" as a way to attempt to separate themselves with their abusers.

and god, is it frustrating to watch because you'll see these people talk about how if they could choose not to be into this shit they would, and that their abusers broke them and MADE them like this shit. and i wish i could just sit down with all of them and tell them thats directly a PTSD symptom. like enjoying your abuse, wanting more of it, feeling addicted to it, are all PTSD symptoms and that if you had a groomer convince you that you like these things eventually your young brain will send out the right "hormones" to make you aroused by them. THATS PTSD, it is not proof that you are a pedophile, or an unchangable fact about your soul, or any reason you should be attacked or hated or turned against. but the moment you start advocating for this shit to be ok, posting public art and writing and fiction about how Fun it is to be abused, you are posting this shit for kids TO SEE. THAT IS THE PROBLEM. because to YOU, maybe the ideas are abstracted, maybe to you you are the little girl in the drawing, and the older man isn't even important, but guess what man. guess what. adults are showing these drawings to kids. kids are finding these drawings on their own, and they are convincing themselves that its not that bad, or that its ok. This is WHY i bring up that incest/rape/pedophilia is not taboo, because the thing is, grown white cis straight men are showing YOUR porn to children. maybe it is a picture of you to YOU, but not to the pedophile in your circle whos ALSO "prokink" and talks to fourteen year olds. THIS IS THE CORE PROBLEM. the problem is not the fact that you have weird paraphilias, or that youre "secretly evil", its that you're literally actively helping the people who would have abused and groomed YOU to groom and abuse other kids.

There is no such thing as a biological predator, there is just someone who gave up on recovering. They are almost always people with POCD who eventually went "i can't resist the urge anymore, and I ended up fine, so they'll end up fine, its not THAT bad, they wont even know." it's people who have repressed themselves so far that they forgot they were traumatized in the first place. its people who confused that initial arousal given to them through sexual trauma as a genuine instinct, and had no desire to heal from it due to never knowing anything better. Its fucking gross, and its fucking weird. I really think like a good amount of users in GENERAL need to get checked for POCD with the way this website is CONVINCED that pedophiles are just some mysterious creature that just Happens Some Times, or freak the fuck out any time you say "hey pedophiles are people who survived csa and never unlearned anything" because they think YOU are calling THEM a pedophile. im so fucking sick of this stupid conversation.
