Jellicle Favorites Day 2 - Favorite Non-Replica Production

Hmmm, what could it possibly be? There's no way to tell.

It's The Jellicle Ball, hands down, no contest. There are many amazing non-reps out there that I love, but there's only one I loved enough to make a tumblr for. I am a PAC fan through and through, if this production has no supporters it's because I am dead and in my grave. I saw it live and it was the best theater experience I have ever had.

The love this production had for the original show, the queer community, and its cast and crew is beautiful and made it a truly magical experience. I can and have rambled about it for multiple hours without break, and I will do so again. It will be showing up in my responses for this event again, rest assured. It's fun, it's beautiful, it made me sob my eyes out and scream in joy, I love it.

My honorable mention will go to Tecklenburg, it is an amazing production that I have rewatched multiple times. Not as soul grabbing as PAC, but incredibly fun.

Jellicle Favorites Day 1 - Favorite Replica Production

This is not the most out-there exciting answer, but it's the 1998 proshot. There are other replicas I absolutely adore, and I'll give one an honorable mention at the end, but this has to be the answer. It's what got me into Cats in the first place, I loved it to pieces as a kid and still love it now, and it's amazing. It's the basis for all of my standard head-canons and character expectations, and I love it so much.

Honorable mention goes to Oasis cast 14. Love that cast, they nailed it and had very fun dynamics between characters that were very fun to pick apart and theorize on.
