sketches dump again !!! but this time ill try to explain a bit more
cianne
cianne comes from changhu, the korea inspired region in aicarro that has an emphasis on shrines, religion, and cherry blossoms. cianne is one of the descendants of the shrine maiden that salvaged the last cherry blossom tree seed; in other words, the family that takes care of the last pure cherry blossom tree in all of aicarro. somehow someday someway she ran away from home (but thats after she saved allois from drowning) and wants to find a deeper meaning in life (or something, her story isnt fully fleshed out but thats the general gist). she's got an optimistic personality, always putting on a brave smile even in the face of death. she takes her role as a caretaker for the last cherry blossom true seriously, but cant help but think that there has to be something more to what her family's task.
demii
for demii, it really just was a small update to his design from the last post. i pulled heavier on the haku from spirited away design (with the flatter silhouette of the bob, the white cloth thing over his kimono, and the separation of his sleeve). his design was really inspired by haku since day 1, but the last iteration didn't really read medic (which he should !!)
anyway thats all for tonite. hope u guys liked it xoxo corey

sketches dump
there wont be much tonight, i just wanted to post sketches of these two fabulous women from "The Coven," corinne and molly. ill list down their skills to help with visualization!
Corinne, the Witch of Websmithing Q (Arachnoball) Corinne throws a ball of spider web to a direction, dealing damage and slowing the first enemy hit. if it reaches the maximum range without hitting an enemy, the web turns into a "Blacksmith's Web" on the ground. When the ball comes into contact with a Blacksmith's Web, the web is consumed and the skill travels further and faster, gaining a larger hitbox, dealing more damage, and stunning the enemy instead. When traveling by an extended Woven Tapestry web, only consume the first web it passes by. W (Spider's Gambit) - passive: her attacks are poisonous, dealing damage over time. - active: corrine empowers a Blacksmith's Web or Woven Tapestry web of her choosing, turning it into an invisible trap that roots the first enemy that steps on it. When an enemy is rooted by this skill, corrine can immediately launch arachnoball by right-clicking on them without casting the skill. the upgraded webs can be revealed by true sight and can be destroyed after 3 hits. E (Woven Tapestry) Corrine spawns an upgraded web, "Woven Tapestry" in a designated area. These webs are larger than the Blacksmiths Web, slows and deals damage overtime to all enemies inside it, and heals Corrine for a small amount over time as long as she is within the web. When spawning a new Woven Tapestry web nearby another, it extends the area of the first web. This web also extends the range of Spider Ball and Magnum Opus. Woven Tapestry webs can be destroyed by enemies by attacking it thrice. R (Magnum Opus) Corrine summons a large, phantom pistol that shoots spectral energy to a wide direction or on a targeted enemy, dealing massive damage to all enemies hit. corrine also rains down spectral swords and spiderwebs at the edge, stunning all enemies hit. When this skill hits Webbestre's Webs or Woven Tapestry webs, the skill also travels further. Commander Skill Comes with 4 charges. Corinne spawns large spiderwebs on the ground. These spiderwebs increases allies' dodge chance as well as healing them by a small amount overtime. Skillshots that pass by this web will travel further and faster, as well as slowing them by 80% for 1.5 seconds. This web can empower 5 skillshots before disappearing.
Molly, the Witch of Purification Q (Purification Rites) Molly conjures up smoke in an area, dealing damage to all enemies hit. When hitting enemies again within 5 seconds, permanently increase damage of this skill and heal Molly for that instance. W (Spirited Morale) boosts a friendly unit or Molly's own movement speed for a few seconds. additionally, Molly can float over unpassable terrain and pass through walls. E (Wall of Smoke) Molly creates smoke in a wide, rectangular area from where she currently is. All allies will gain invisibility inside this area of smoke. dealing damage will break the invisibility for a few seconds. R (Goddess' Call) Molly calls the goddess Aviva to boost her powers. When toggled on, Molly gains constant healing and her skills deal burning damage to enemies at the cost of constant HP drain.

Demii, the Fluttering Finch Mirakawa Demiha is the grandson of the famed veterinarian Mirakawa Kishii. Like his predecessor, he's had his fair share of tending to animals of all variety, ranging from the mundane to the mythical. Demii walks through life with optimistic yet cautious lenses, always willing to extend a helping hand to most he encounters. Though he puts on a brave smile, few see his callous side when he's on the hunt. His oath of protecting the forest his late grandfather left him is something he takes deadly serious and will spare no wrongdoers.
Potential Concepts For the longest time, I've always had four things I wanted with Demii: Haku's bob from Spirited Away, an Elessian (sci-fi) bow and arrow, a long and elegant cape, and probably or probably not a sandogasa hat. As you can see with my older concept art, I really had no idea what personality to give him other than those four. Though, as time went on and I made new characters, I decided to revisit my old ones and finally have a clear vision on what I want for them. Now, I could say that his design significantly improved, but it still lacks in some parts, like how he cant clearly be seen as a vet/ someone that has healing capabilities. His name was something I expanded on today. On the car ride home, my friend (a very big WWII era Japan nerd) told me how Japanese names mostly have meaning, and it just occurred to me how Demii's name was born out of nothing, so I got to work. Demii's full name (Demiha) is kind of a mix between English and Japanese (though "demi" is already a Japanese word) which means "half leaf" (demi= semi, ha = leaf), which ties perfectly to his forest ranger characterization. It also serves as a symbolism of him not fully moving on from his grandfather's death yet, as he was the only who acted as Demii's father figure while his real father was busy f*cking the military. With that new expansion, I tried to integrate as many half leaf motifs in his skills as I could, with a revision on the outfit soon.
Lore: The Guardian's Apprentice
Squabble and screams filled the forests on where Mirakawa Kishii's sanctuary cabin stood. Demiha protested against his father's cruel motivations to force him into the military. If both of them have not shared blood, a soul would have been claimed by the Divine Court to silence the rioting.
Ever since birth, Kishii took in Demii under his wing; he showed the young boy the beauty of healing. His absent parents devoted their souls to the military, returning to their posts as soon as they could after the birth of their child. Demii learned that no matter how big or small, how tough or how gentle, everyone can be hurt.
The young child spent most of his life around animals, his grandparents, and his uncle. The trio tended to all sorts of animals at the same time in the same shop Demii's grandfather grew up in. Both nobles and peasants flocked to their humble clinic to seek treatment for their familiars.
Saving up enough money, his grandfather looked to establish a sanctuary-like home in the province of Shiroha. The place is known for the pure-white color and powder-like texture of the snow that falls every winter. It also boasts a diverse cast of animals that Kishii was looking to preserve. Hidden in the dense forests, the workers started laying the foundation of what was to be the biggest animal hospital of the forests of Shiroha.
Now a teenager, Demii devoted his time to helping his uncle run the vet clinic. A smile would always be on his face while tending to his patients, not wanting to be anywhere else. He made time for his grandparents in the forest, overseeing the construction of the sanctuary. While it was not yet finished, they scoured the forest for any animals in need, decorating a good chunk of it with futuristic traps, specifically made to trigger only when a clumsy hunter's foot lands on it. They also brought along their Elessian hunting bows, only unsheathing it when the true animals show themselves.
In the times that he was in Shiroha, Demii would learn the art of archery from his grandfather. He learned how to draw a bow, how to shoot an arrow, and how to aim at scoundrels. Kishii initially taught him the fundamentals with a traditional wooden longbow to go alongside it. As Demii's mastery flourished, his grandfather gifted him a custom-made bow from Elessia. It had all the features that make his longbow feel prehistoric, but it did not make Demii even a bit complacent.
Kishii and his wife soon passed away after the family moved in the newly-built sanctuary which was named after the exemplary man. Even the animals mourned his loss, peeking through the window of his bedroom. He was soon buried at the foot of the mountain where he first planted a sugi tree. Kishii's death left an indelible scar on everyone's hearts, especially Demii's. He knew he was never complete without his grandfather, but was not yet ready to accept the future without him.
None were quite as unaffected as Demii's father, Tsuyoi. He never saw his father as an important figure in his life. As far as Demii could remember, the two had no quarrels or indifference. They were just... unconnected. Demii could remember the many times his grandparents and his uncle tried to reach out to him. Not a single response was heard back from Tsuyoi. Everyone thought it strange how Kishii's distant son showed up to his funeral, but none more disappointed than his own son.
Just as he expected, he talked to Demii about enlisting him in the army. And, just as his father expected, he was fuming. The two hurled meaningless words to each other far away from the function. When Tsuyoi's hotheadedness got the better of him, he strangled his son's wrist and dragged him along towards his wagon.
The animals Demii and Kishii have helped over the years wanted to repay Demii for his kindness, so they all charged towards Tsuyoi in a flurry of animal attacks. Tsuyoi's iron grip let go of Demii's now bruised wrists, giving him a chance to escape. But, before he could reach a safe distance, he turned back to the comical scene and called for the animals to stop. Demii walked back up to his father, apologizing for the intrusion of the critters.
Demii sent his father back to the capital, sensing that he did not want to spill any blood in the presence of Kishii. As his father drove off into the night, Demii's knees fell to the ground. A flood of emotions drowned him right there, leaking through his body in tears. Like a scene from a fairytale, the animals walked up to him and stayed by his side in his sulking.
Gameplay Demii is the beginner's choice when starting out with the marksman archetype. Though he lacks AoE and effective wave-clearing by himself, he more than makes up for it with his single-target damage. Q - Refined Arrowshot On his next basic attack, Demii will deal more damage based on a flat amount plus 150% of his Physical Damage. this skill has 200% effectiveness against minions with HP lower than 10%, and 150% effectiveness on towers. W - Psyche of the Finch - Demii passively gains crit chance and attack speed. - Demii sends his finch, Toppū, to attack an enemy, slowing down their movement speed by 50%. Then, Demii calls on two other feathery friends to buff his attacks, dealing two extra sources of damage alongside Demii for 5 seconds when attacking enemies. E - Special Treatment Demii uses his stickers to heal himself or a friendly unit. After, the sticker heals the unit every 1.5 seconds over 5 seconds. Can be used on towers. R - Rest In The Wind Demii locks onto an enemy champion or tower and channels for 2 seconds. Then, he sends a destructive arrow to hit the target, dealing massive damage. This skill executes towers under 10% HP. Destroying towers with this skill refunds 70% of the cooldown.

hello again! i wanted 2 post abt one of my fav charas bc he rlly stood the test of time and is still mostly relevant to me until today TT that someone is heishin! he's my eight-tailed fox character bc i had to, ykyk? also the first 3 pics are old drawings of heishin, like at most a year ago? when i was still conceptualizing what kind of character he was gonna be. anyway he's sort of like the dorky himbo character who values family and friends very closely and is like, romantic when you least expect him to be... so T.T anyway i shall drop his lore and kit! his lore is quite long and pretty outdated too, since i've gotten new lore inputs for his region ever since writing this backstory, but i think his story in general about being once divine would be the same. his skills in the concept art above are also outdated, since his most recent kit is very different from what i drew before. anyway thats all and i hope whoever reads this enjoys heishin :] (dividers are from @saradika-graphics)
The Almost Divine A dark blue mist eclipses the bright, ever-sunny sky of Kamigami’s Divine Palace. Needing a reliable guardian to deal with this situation, the Divine Deities created many prototype creatures. The three things they looked for in their divine guard were blinding swiftness, penetrating attacks, and some sort of distraction mechanism whenever it was fighting in groups. Among their many prototypes, one stuck out like a sore thumb: a fox who had trouble operating how it’s supposed to operate. The gods ran some tests on it, but it never seemed to engage in battle, no matter how hard they try to. All it ever does is run away, even while having all the checkmarks ticked off. One of the gods thought that it might be lacking something it wants to fight for, and did his best to rewire its brain into wanting to fight for them. Still, no effect. It boggles them how they, divine and all-powerful deities, made something that they themselves can’t even control.
Seeing all their efforts go to waste, they ultimately decide to cast down this failed prototype to the mortal realm. The god of care and love was the last it would see in the Divine Castle, as she was also the first it saw. She wished their almost defender a happy and fulfilled life, wrapping it in cloth weaved from light itself before dropping it into the clouds below. As the fox fell further and further away from heaven, it slowly started to grow more tails than it is supposed to have. One… Two… Three… Up until eight tails. When it finally landed on a forest’s cold ground in the mortal land, its brilliant cloth was blinding even the light of the moon. A poor, infertile, farmer couple happened to be passing by from the city, coming back from a long day of selling their goods. The blinding object lit up their dark path, and they were caught by surprise. Deciding to see what the foreign object was, they made their way toward it. They heard the screams of a baby getting louder the more they got closer to it. Once they reached the light, they knelt on the ground and unwrapped the peculiar shining cloth to see a human child, crying uncontrollably. Just then, eight tiny blue spirits pranced out of the cloth and twirled in the air, nodding to the couple before vanishing into thin air. They then quickly wrap the child in their arms, comforting it in their arms. They decided to name the infant Heishin after seeing the spirits from earlier.
As a young boy, Heishin was noticeably different from his playmates: he was extraordinarily fast— just a tad bit faster than a cat running, marks left on tree barks where he’d climb would be deeper than scratches and was charmingly persuading unbeknownst even to him. His parents were aware of this too, but thought he might just be “special” and dismissed the strange happenings. However, they were astounded when he had an appetite for liver. There were even times when if they wouldn’t cook him liver, he’d go out and ask their neighbors in the village for his favorite dish. As he grew older, he became odder and odder: most remarkably, his lower back started growing a small bump, and two sections of his hair started growing upwards, resembling that of a feline’s ear. One night, as Heishin was sleeping, his parents came home late from selling their goods at the market square. When they opened their bedroom door, they discovered a long protrusion coming from his slumbering body, which was wrapped in a small blanket and had its back facing them. Under the influence of curiosity and fear, they slowly crept towards him, pulling his blanket ever so slightly. Greeting them were not one, two, three, but eight fuzzy, snow-white tails. Their sudden shrieks caused Heishin to wake up, joining them in concerning revelation.
Reluctantly wanting to learn more about his past, he tags along with his parents to the city the next day and visits a library, covered in a cloak hiding his unique attributes. He impatiently goes through scrolls and flips through books until he comes upon the divine Nine-Tailed Fox. Written by a famous scholar in Kogoshi, the book “Creatures of Light” states that a ravaging eclipse is fated to come every one thousand years. This eclipse would bring with it famine, high tides, and blocks sunlight until it passes. To address this, the divine creates spirit guardians to aid the mortals and help them defend their paradise. One of the guardians who were different from the others was the Nine-Tailed Fox, who could traverse both the mortal and divine realm. It uses its powerful abilities in defending the Divine Castle, while also being able to relay important messages from heaven to humans. The book also adds that the Nine-Tailed Fox has only been seen once a thousand years ago, when a farmer’s livestock was found dead, and their livers missing. Heishin treks to his parent’s market stall determined to share his newfound knowledge. The situation did not sink in with his parents yet, but they reassured him that they still love him whatever his background.
A few days pass by, and Heishin makes his way home after running errands in the market square. It was quite a lengthy walk, even for him. The moon, though eerily having a shadow, was already in the sky when he was homebound. From afar, he noticed that the door to their native farmhouse was open. He found this weird, as it would always be closed, whether anyone was home or not. He also did not see his mother cooking their dinner outside, and their livestock was all over the place. He rushed to their open house and saw their things littered all over the floor. He crept into their bedroom to see his parents shivering in a corner. An ominous man stands tall with a knife in his hand, just about to take their lives. In the doorway, Heishin’s eyes glow yellow. His tails unfurl, lighting up. Blue flames summon all around him. In the blink of an eye, he stabs the man with his fire.
As the man falls, his parents rush to hug him. They share a short affirming conversation before Heishin hears more footsteps outside. He peered outside to see a group of shadowy figures hiding in the darkness surrounding their house, with only their glowing orange eyes making their presence known. He tightly hugs his parents before telling them to hide somewhere in the house. He then jumps out the window, channeling his inner power. For the first time since his past life in the Divine Palace, he transforms into the mighty Eight-Tailed Fox. As his tails started glowing pink, he blindingly jumped from place to place and dazed the shadow figures— up in the trees, behind the trees, down on the ground, and on the roof of their house. He jumps from enemy to enemy one more time, this time swiftly leaving deep, glowing blue scratches on their human body. Then, he stops to take some breaths. He lets out a deafening howl, exploding the scratches. As his enemies fall and disappear into shadow, he transforms back into a human and rushes to find his family. In a hidden trapdoor on the living area’s ground, Heishin helps them get up. They tear up as they hug him and thank him for defending their home. Heishin still feels uneasy even after defeating the enemies and remembered how the moon looked. He quickly goes out and looks at the sky, and his thoughts were right.
Up in the empty night sky, the moon itself was eclipsed by a darker force. Heishin knew this eclipse would be tremendously more dangerous than the previous eclipses thousands of years ago. With a heavy sigh and one last hug, he tells his parents to look for a new home in the city.
“What about you?” his father asks.
“I’ll be just here, in the forest, fighting off any evil that might come to harm you,” he speaks with a soft smile.
They bid their farewells as Heishin secretly sends off a small fox spirit to watch over them. Breathing deeply, he transforms into a fox and runs off into the unlit night. The fight has just begun, and Heishin wants to make sure he’s his family’s first line of defense.
kit: Q (Mesmerizing Flames) - (passive) Every three attacks, Heishin spins around and deals damage to all enemies he hits. - (active) Heishin sends blue flames to a cone-shaped, medium-ranged direction, dealing damage to all enemies hit and burns them for 3.5 seconds. W (Exploring the Open World) - - Heishin launches himself forward and transforms into his fox form for 8 seconds, gaining a burst of decaying movement speed. Heishin can recast this skill to launch himself in the air before landing on an area, dealing damage to all enemies hit. The damage from recasting this skill affects towers, and immediately destroys towers with 10% or less HP. E (Simulation of Life) - (passive) Increases healing received. - (active) Heishin plants a rice seed on the ground. After 5 seconds, the rice can be harvested to heal the player that harvested it. The ground where the rice seed was initially planted will keep growing harvestable rice seeds until an enemy unit destroys it through basic attacking. Heishin can interact with the destroyed ground to make it fertile again. R (Divine Intervention) - Heishin leaps to an enemy in fox form, charming them for a few seconds. When recast, dashes to a direction and deal massive damage to all enemies hit. Enemies whose HP drops below 4% from this skill will be executed.

subtle ways to include foreshadowing
one character knowing something offhandedly that they shouldn't, isn't addressed until later
the crow rhyme
colours!! esp if like, blue is evil in your world and the mc's best friend is always noted to wear blue...betrayal?
write with the ending in mind
use patterns from tragic past events to warn of the future
keep the characters distracted! run it in the background until the grand reveal
WEATHER.
do some research into Chekhov's gun
mention something that the mc dismisses over and over
KEEP TRACK OF WHAT YOU PUT. don't leave things hanging.
unreliable characters giving information that turn out to be true
flowers and names with meanings
anything with meanings actually
metaphors. if one character describes another as "a real demon" and the other turns out to be the bad guy, you're kind of like...ohhh yeahhh
anyways add anything else in the tags

Kasper and Martius
hello here's a post dump about one of my characters, Kasper and Martius! I had a rlly hard time drawing the horse skeleton but anyway here's their lore, copy pasted directly from my google notes:
kasper grew up in a religious household. one day, while venturing into the woods in his backyard, he saw a unicorn. he told his family and his family believed he saw the devil (he called it a horse with a horn) and referred him to the priest. the priest first detained the kid and gathered a mob to kill the unicorn in the forest. after that, he tried exorcising the kid, only to exorcise his spirit since there were no evil spirits inside his body. his spirit was confused and wandered into the forest, finding the unicorn, while his family unknowingly brought his dead body home (they discovered something was wrong since he wouldn't wake up). the family went to the priest and the priest just said to pray and he'll be fine (he said he was just unconscious bc of the exorcism and that it was draining for him); they kept his body in his bedroom to the point of rotting (its still there). kasper's soul found the soul of the unicorn and they became platonic soulmates.
kasper and martius kit: Q (Formality) creates an illusion in the opposite direction facing Kasper and his steed. him and the illusion bow to each other before crashing into each other, dealing damage and stunning enemies hit for 3 seconds. Additionally, stunning enemies heals Martius and Kasper. W (Phase) instantly turns Kasper and Martius invisible for 40 seconds. casting spells (except Elegance), attacking, or taking damage will end the invisibility prematurely. Taking damage will refund the skill's cool down by 60%. This skill is disabled during the duration of R. Martius leaves hoofprints behind where he walks during invisibility. E (Elegance) passive: instantly disables nearby active walls and allows kasper and martius to walk on unpassable terrain, which they would otherwise not be able to do. active: prances to a direction, slowing all enemies in a small radius upon landing. can be recast twice. the first recast stacks another slow, and the second recast stuns all enemies in the radius. this skill does not break invisibility during Phase expect for the 2nd recast. R (Vexation) impales the enemy, dragging it around and suppressing them at the same time. movement speed is increased for the duration. suffering CC during this skill will disable the movement speed increase until the skill ends, and suffering CC before casting this skill will disable the movement speed increase for 5 seconds.

about my game....
so I did say that I wanted to make a moba game in the future after I graduate and after I've had some experience with game developing //WHICH IS VERY AMBITIOUS I KNOW THAT AJKSDFNJKSD// and, at this point in my life, I've only stories and art of my world and characters that I hope will come into fruition soon. I even made a 60 or so paged Canva where I just designed the ui for the main menu and in game screen so like... anyway, I will talk about the gameplay I wish to make! buckle up cause this is gonna be a long one and, if you want to look at the Canva, feel free to do so! <3
players: 4+1 v 4+1 so, I was researching one time on how I could make my moba "different" from the other popular titles today (which also serve as my biggest inspirations), such as league, dota 2, and mobile legends. the article I read (I've long lost it but if I find it I'll definitely link it here!) talked about how a unique gameplay for a new moba would be for it to return to its RTS roots and introduce RTS aspects again in the form of a "commander." the commander won't be actively moving around and doing usual moba stuff on the map, but instead will stay at their base and overlook the game. each team will have 1 commander, replacing the "support" role since it has a tendency to take a passive role in the game (yes, I know tanks and engage supports exist but THIS IDEA IS COOLER >:(((( ). moreover, the commander will control aspects of the map such as creep waves, special interactive walls, wall fortification, etc. each playable character can be played as a commander and will all share the basic map-manipulating skills, but they have each have a unique "commander skill" that enhances the gameplay even more. the commander skill varies from simple combat-focused skills to tactical planning skills, and only characters from the in-lore region's map can be played as a commander for that map (I will b talking about maps after this). moreover, to promote teamwork, I wanted only the commander to be able to access the minimal. I know it's kinda bad for the players that they don't know where everyone else is, but yk teamwork...? also, the commander role will be picked out in the lobby-making. the rightmost slot in the party will be the commander slot, and anyone in the party can switch to that slot to become the commander in their next game. this also would work in solo queue. picture below is how I envision the commander's screen to look like.
different maps for each in-lore region I also noticed how most moba games take place in the same map, except for when its a different game mode (aram/ brawl for lol/ mobile legends and the special arcade/ seasonal game modes) or map skins (dota 2). I wanted my game to be more than that, and also to incorporate the lore in the game itself as much as I can, so I came up with the idea of different maps for each in-lore region where the players can play in. my general idea is that before the players lock in their champions, they can pick a map in which they want to play in. the general gameplay for all these maps will be the same, with the 3 lanes and commanders and everything, but there are different unique mechanics per map, such as smog and reducing vision for foglemore and snowy blizzards to hasten fights in whalefall (its called whitestorm in the pic below; the image used here is also outdated, I made a new map recently). there's also different terrain mechanics, like the two-layered map of altamar and helix canyon, the snowy slides in whalefall (again), and the low and high tide mechanics in hardinapulo. lastly, there's also unique battle spells (like summoner spells from league) for each region, like the 5-second flash/blink in elessia. im still debating whether or not the map selection should be before champ select (meaning the players have to queue up and vote for a map) or make it a choice before queueing so they can play in which map they want to play in without the possibility of getting to play in a different map. on the topic of maps and in-lore regions, this would b the perfect time to talk about the in-lore regions for my world, aicarro! ill delve deeper into their stories in another post. for now ill just describe the aesthetic/ vibe they're going for. - elessia: sci-fi Ancient Greece. biggest and main exporter of technology in the world - glimmerwing: post-apocalyptic wasteland, mixing nature and machinery - foglemore: polarization of steampunk Europe, separation of older generation & their steampunk tech and the newer generation & their elessian tech. - roselight: medieval England whose natives spawn stained glass out of thin air when experiencing a core memory, called "memory shards" - Thalassa: technically the entire ocean, but when talking about "Thalassa" it usually means the densest underwater area in terms of population to the south of roselight - the deserts of bosam: a large desert that was once a tropical continent. its gods were banished because of their ambitiousness and everything was turned into sand in their absence. now, its the sandbox of many different tribes with different end goals. - santastella: a unique city in the west of bosam's deserts where a native tribe mingled with roselightian settlers and created a new culture and society focused on elegant use of magic. - altamar: a pirate city in the middle-north part of bosam's desert. it was founded when an explorer from roselight shipwrecked here and started a new city and culture. - hardinapulo: an archipelago that retains old bosam's glory. after the bosam gods were exiled, a titanic snake-like goddess claimed the region as her own. - helix canyon: a canyon housing the strongest prison in the world, meant to hold aicarro's worst of the worst criminals. one of the first group of reformed criminals established a town just above the canyon to accommodate the visitors and other former prisoners. - whalefall: a snowy island found at the equator that was also once a tropical island. it formed its own identity separate from bosam proper when bosam's goddess of storms claimed this as her own. - the Tri-states: a continent predominantly made up of 3 civilizations, those from shenmen, changhu, and kamigami. shenmen is known for their aspiration to become the next elessia, changhu for their breathtaking cherry blossom trees found everywhere, and kamigami for their thirst of blood and war.
item system overhaul! so, I noticed how unintuitive the normal itemization system is in the other mobas, especially in league where there are four different items for different champion roles that all do the same thing [im looking at you morellonomicon, chempunk chainsword, mortal reminder, and thornmail! >:(] I thought, "why not have an item system where everyone can build the same item without worrying about the stats?" so I did! my game will have a unique itemization system, where: - a completed item will have 1 permanent stat and 2 empty stat slots which can be used up by buying and applying enchantments for the item - items in the 2nd to the highest item tier (under completed items; epic item tier in league) will have the passive/active effect of its completed item counterpart, but can only be activated after using up the 2 item slots that it has. moreover, the players will start with enough gold to buy 1 of these items and a few potions, so they can focus on buying the enchantments when they go back to the base. I have a very extensive docs here, for those who want to read the ideas I have about the items.
anyway, I think that's about all the gameplay aspects that I have to share about. from now on I think its going to be mostly lore and if i will still talk about the gameplay then I think its just gonna be updates. hope it was a good read for whoever is reading this. always open to comments n suggestions! xoxo corey

lore tidbit: susususupernova
"Before time and space, there was the primordial goddess of light and creation, Kaahlia. She looked as if she was made of the sun herself, and everywhere she went galaxies would form at the ends of her long golden hair. A unique deity, she felt quite lonely in the universe and wanted to stir things up. There, in the vacuum of space, Kaahlia made another godlike entity using the reverse of her powers, giving birth to Ra'ael.
Ra'ael immediately swings his fist of cosmic energy to Kaahlia, who already foresaw this outcome. Kaahlia blocks the glowing purple strike, and as a result of two immense powers colliding, created a massive supernova that spanned almost the entirety of the known universe. It affected the celestial bodies differently: absolutely obliterating the planets and stars nearest to the center of impact, while changing life's biology at most to planets at the edge of the supernova. For Aicarro, this meant the rise of new animal-human hybrids."
anyway yes dropping a big event in my lore universe which is the big supernova of '87. this supernova is basically my justification for furries and other intelligent non human mortal species in my world. I've written a few non-human characters because im kinda bad at drawing non-humans (but I try !!!) and anyway, what's a good way to practice drawing furries and what species would look cool to place in my world? :0000
