CHARACTER SUMMARY.

viktor is a highly intelligent and ambitious scientist, driven by a desire to improve humanity through technology that he believes can elevate the human condition, and save himself from a terminal illness that is slowly killing him. his desire for progress leads him to make morally ambiguous choices, but at his core he wants to do good and help improve people's lives.

viktor starts as a collaborator and friend to jayce, sharing a vision for a better world through science. as viktor's condition worsens, his methods become more radical. his pursuits isolates him from others, leading to a more ruthless and single-minded focus on his research and ultimately leads to him using his own dying body in his experiments.
