A quick reference post for people who want to watch Critical Role oneshots where someone other than Matt DM/GMs (links to all videos below):
To watch Liam as GM:
“Liam’s Quest Part 1″: During a normal day of voice acting work, Laura, Travis, Sam, and Taliesin are suddenly caught up in a time-warping, Eldritch horror story
“Liam’s Quest Part 2″: Now joined by Matt, Marisha, and Ashley, the meta versions of our players must find a way to stop the time-shifts that send them to horrific landscapes full of monsters.
“The Screw Job”: An Exandria-set oneshot, in which a group of thieves try to rob a sorcerer in pre-Chroma Conclave Emon.
“The Song of the Lorelei”: An Exandria-set oneshot, in which a group of werewolf siblings in Wildemount investigate a tragic mystery in their home castle.
“The Night Before Critmas”: A group of elves from the north pole have to rush to save Christmas and Santa (perhaps familiar if you’ve seen a certain movie).
To watch Marisha as GM:
“Honey Heist”: Trinket runs into some interesting bears who have a plan to steal the best honey from a festival in Westruun. (Exandria-set, but debatably canon.)
“Honey Heist 2: Electric Beargaloo”: Trinket teams up with his old heist pals to go after a notorious criminal (also Exandria-set, but even more debatably canon than the last one)
“Honey Heist 3: Tova’s Honeys”: Tova the werebear assembles a team of crack bear investigators to uncover a sinister plot (also Exandria set, but pretty clearly not canon for a few obvious reasons)
To watch Taliesin as GM:
“Thursday by Night Part 1″: The CR gang wakes up in the Geek and Sundry studios to find they’ve been turned into vampires. Now if only they could figure out what’s going on and how to get home.
“Thursday by Night Part 2″: Already down a few members, the remaining undead Critical Role players try to navigate the dark underworld of Los Angeles.
“Call of Cthulhu: Shadows of the Crystal Palace”: In the 1890s, a group of hired investigators infiltrate a museum exhibit at the Crystal Palace in search of an important ancient artifact.
To watch Travis as GM:
“Grog’s Oneshot”: Grog introduces Vex, Vax, Percy, and Scanlan to a great new game - Bunions and Flagons!
To watch Laura as GM:
“Critical Role and the Club of Misfits”: A group of students get into trouble while serving detention at Smogwarts. Any similarity to existing IP whether beloved magic books or 80s movies is purely coincidental.
To watch Sam as GM:
“Bar Room Blitz”: An Exandria-set oneshot, in which a group of strangers discover something far more sinister at work after a bar fight breaks out in the Ass Sailor tavern.
“Sam’s Romantic Cruise”: Fairy tale characters embark on a romantic cruise. Chaos ensues
“Crash Pandas”: A group of raccoons try to win a street race. Chaos ensues.
We all eagerly await the foretold Ashley Johnson oneshot.

Here are the first two (of many!) photos we got of Nott. Here’s a breakdown of the costume:
💚 The face paint is Mehron Paradise in Light Green and I (Anna) used a mix of green and brown eye shadows for contouring. I use a neutral pink blush to add some warmth to my cheeks and the tip of my nose. I did a minimal smoky eye with the same green tones with some added black eyeshadow and tart lights, camera, splashes mascara. I set each layer with Mehron setting powder and then used Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray.
👂🏻The ears are made of craft foam and worbla (thermo plastic). We first made a paper pattern, then transferred that pattern to craft foam. We sandwiched the craft foam in worbla, and then used worbla for the details. They are finished with about three layers of mod podge then painted with acrylic paints.
💚 The wig is a VCKOVCKO short wavy wig in Mix Green. I teased the wig at the base and trimmed the bangs.
🤕 The bandages are a four way stretch cream fabric distressed with coffee and cut into strips. We put these around my neck and nose and tucked the loose ends into the wig cap. We had tried to use fashion tape during a makeup trial, but the tape wouldn’t stick to the face paint!
💚 The good-scarf and jacket are a combination of grey denim fabric we got on sale from Joann’s and a black knit fabric we got from a thrift shop. The inside of the hood-scarf is the black knit and the outer layer is the grey denim. For the jacket, the sleeves are the black knit and the rest is the grey denim.
👖 The pants are actually a black jumpsuit that I’m wearing under the jacket.
💚 All of the jewelry was made from chains, charms, clasps, and beads we either thrifted or got on sale from a craft stores in the past.
🧵The extra fabric wrapped around and wrists and ankles we cut from thrifted shirts.
💚 To make the mask, we used a thin plastic party mask from Hobby Lobby to mold worbla to the correct shape. I painted the mask with acrylic paints and set it with first a wax finish then glossy finish to try to mimic the look of a broken china doll face.
📷 Lastly, Corey took the photos using his Nikon d7500. We shot these photos on the horse trail about 3 minutes from where we are living in Burbank.
I hope this helps! Happy cosplaying!

We made a body double about of duct tape to help make cosplay patterns and armor.
1. Corey wrapped me completely in cling wrap
2. Using ~1’ strips of duct tape we did two coats of duct tape over the cling wrap. One vertical, and one horizontal. We made sure to capture the curves of my body so we could use it to make costumes
3. We cut off the cling wrap and duct tape
4. We make a stand out of PVC pipe
5. We taped the duct tape “skin” back together and stuffed it with packing paper
And that’s it!
