Connections

Of all the abilities in this show, my favourite is Sam's ability to see their connections, it just feels like such a beautiful power and I wanted to show that visually as best I could. The other part of this moment that I love love love is Sam's (Danielle's) choice to break her wand.

The wand that both represents her connection to magic and to her friends, the wand that acts as a safety net but also the wand from the old system of magic, an exclusive group that relied on things like wands to separate themselves from everyone else.
