A small study in grayscale out of a Japanese fabric pattern I found on a book. Moon craze. An illustration for a contest I’m probably not gonna win but it was fun to be a part of regardless. I don’t know if you can tell but I really like using colours to their maximum potential, I just happen to always be studying different combinations and ways of using it. My favourite thing to do with colour is making it react to darkness. The background was done with inks. The moon was drawn using black ink and yellow watercolours.
