Just after sunset during the Minneapolis memorial for Liam, someone released five red heart balloons. As they rose up together, one balloon rose higher and faster while the other four seemed to hang back sending it off. To me, the moment felt like these lyrics
You will find me In places that we've never been For reasons we don't understand Walking in the wind
Liam may be gone, but we will continue to find him in many ways as we carry on his memory.

The glue that holds One Direction together is Liam – a man who could easily be your boyfriend and your Dad at the same time in the least creepy way possible this sentence is terrible. But really, he wants to make sure you’re okay out there, because he actually gives a shit when he’s performing. He took the time to carefully get someone’s phone from the crowd and take a selfie, read some signs out to his fans and worked hard to make sure we appreciated their backing band. - projectu.tv

Biggest hugs to @himynameiszayn and @allwaswell16 for talking me into going to the memorial for Liam in Minneapolis tonight. Even though they are both hundreds of miles away, they kept me company while I sat in a park listening to 1D songs.
I can't always find the words to describe how I'm feeling, but I found time to make a rainbow scratch art drawing of Liam's chevron tattoo to leave at the memorial. There were also cards to write little messages, and some kind person handed out single stem roses so more people could leave flowers. It was so lovely to be surrounded by others during this painful time to remember Liam and what he means to us.
