NINETEEN
Blanca Núñez Gutiérrez
Today I’m gonna talk about my obsession with the number 19.
The number 19 symbolizes completing something that leads to a new beginning. Announce that you are close to achieving some goals. Basically, it is a new beginning and the door for great opportunities in my life.
In the tarot, the number 19 represents a sun, and that is exactly what I would like to be, I would like to be a sun for people, help them stay warm and make them shine
Also
1+9=10
1+0=1
1
19, even when it’s a number compound by 2, ended up being a 1
And I was born on 19/02/2005, look what happens if you add all this numbers together.
1+9=10+2=12+2=14+5=19
That’s why I love nineteen, I feel like a nineteen

TERROR: ONE OF CINEMATOGRAPHY GENRE
Blanca Núñez Gutiérrez
Movies are made by formulas, the joke or the difference is how you tell it. The same happens in this genre.
a) basic terror:
A group of victims will be at the mercy of a monster, ghost or being from beyond. Some examples are: Anabelle, Chuky and Scooby Doo
b) horror:
When a character investigates an extranormal case. An example is The Exorcism of Emily Rose
c) psychological thriller:
When a case of a human being is investigated.
d) gore:
high violent content, some people can’t bear it.

THE TYPES OF CRITICS ON CINEMATOGRAPHY
Blanca Núñez Gutiérrez
There exists two types of critics, the subjective one and the objective one.
a) Objective:
The objective one is based on knowledge, you can’t use phrases like “I didn’t like it”, “I didn’t found it funny”, “I loved it”, or any personal thinking.
Yo have to talk about knowledge (you just can talk if you have knowledge, obviously), you have to use technical words.
b) Subjective:
This one is completely the opposite, you will talk about your personal opinion, you don’t need to justify.
And this is all for today, you know now how to criticize a movie o a series.

NODAL BEEFS J BALVIN
Santiago Ulises Garcia Cedeño
Christian Nodal took some shots at J Balvin after he posted some pictured comparing their two similar hairstyles as a joke, apparently Nodal took it very personally and criticized him for not writing all his songs and posted a video with Residente's diss track playing in the background. J Balvin then uploaded a video where he seemed a little confused with the situation
Now Nodal released a song called “girasol” go to listen his response!!

LITTLE WRITING BY ME
Blanca Núñez Gutiérrez
This, more than a post, is a little writing I did a long time ago based on a image I saw.
An open cage is still a cage, with or without a lock, it still represents the lack of freedom in our being.
The cage and its accessible door, big enough for hearts to go in and out of, but small enough to keep me locked in there.
The cage covered by a red veil, opaque enough so they can't see how I'm watching them, but translucent enough to see how everyone goes on with their lives while I'm still stuck in your memory.

KANYE HAS FILED MULTIPLE TRADEMARKS FOR YEEZUZ
Santiago Ulises Garcia Cedeño
According to Complex, through his Mascotte Holdings, Inc. company, Ye made multiple U.S federal trademark registration filings for Yeezus late last month. Potential fields of use listed among the filings include board games, action figures, Christmas tree ornaments, face masks, retail stores, computer goods, plush toys, subscription services, nail polishes, facial makeup, video game software, amusement park rides, and much more.
The goods and services breakdown of one of the May 27-dated filings touches on everything from record production to amusement parks, with the final lines notably including phrasing that was seemingly not so strictly in the mix amid those aforementioned2018 headlines, i.e. «entertainment services, namely, metaverse experiences».

AMBER HEARD RELEASES STATEMENT ABOUT JOHNNY DEEP’S DEFAMATION TRIAL
Santiago Ulises Garcia Cedeño
Here’s what she said: The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I'm heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway of my ex-husband.
I'm even more disappointed with what this verdict means for other women. It is a setback. It sets back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up and spoke out could be publicly shamed and humiliated. It sets back the idea that violence against women is to be taken seriously.
I believe Johnny's attorneys succeeded in getting the jury to overlook the key issue of Freedom of Speech and ignore evidence that was so conclusive that we won in the UK.
I'm sad I lost this case. But I am sadder still that I seem to have lost a right I thought I had as an American - to speak freely and openly.

DON’T COVER UP FOR YOUR AGGRESSOR FRIEND
Blanca Núñez Gutiérrez
“He didn’t do anything to me”, “He isn’t like that, I know him better than you”, “He is with my friend always, what can I do?”, “I’ll just act indifferent, I wasn’t the one affected”
All of this arguments are completely invalid, no exception, when the intention is justify the aggression a person exercises to a other person.
Being friend with an aggressor it is much more serious than a lot of people thinks. While you’re justifying, you ended up normalizing what is happening or what happened, the aggressor will think that he did right, because he didn’t have a consequence, at the end, this allows the action can be repeated.
Remember, covering up makes you an accomplice

ONE MORE NEWS
Santiago Ulises Garcia Cedeño
May of second-degree murder in the June 2018 death of her husband, chef Daniel Brophy, who was gunned down at the culinary school where he taught cooking classes.
In court documents, prosecutors said the 63-year-old man had been shot twice -- once in the back as he stood at a sink filling ice and water buckets for the students, and then in the chest at close range. The couple had debt --Crampton-Brophy's self-published novels were not big sellers -- and he was insured for more than $1 million, prosecutors argued.
Prosecutors said in court the author followed her husband to work and shot him with a Glock handgun. Investigators found two 9mm shell casings at the scene. She had also bought a "ghost gun" assembly kit that investigators later found at a storage facility."
"Ghost guns" are unregistered and untraceable firearms.

folklore - love triangle analysis… pt 2
Blanca Núñez Gutiérrez
This is the continuation of the first post, the last time we checked “cardigan” based on Betty’s perspective, but now, we are gonna do an analysis of “august” based on Augustine’s perspective.
august analysis
VERSE ONE
Salt air, and the rust on your door
This is one of the reasons I think James met Augustine on a beach, on vacations, cause “Salt air”
I never needed anything more
Augustine for the first time in life felt happy, she felt full
Whispers of "Are you sure?"
James was asking Augustine if she was okay with that, read next line
"Never have I ever before"
I kinda think Augustine lost her virginity with James, specially for this line
CHORUS
But I can see us lost in the memory
She remembers everything, every little second that she shared with James, although this hurts her.
August slipped away into a moment in time
August was the month when James and Augustine met, another reason why I think James met Augustine in vacations
'Cause it was never mine
And I can see us twisted in bedsheets
Again, I think this is about James and Augustine, Augustine losing her virginity with him
August sipped away like a bottle of wine
Maybe one of the things Augustine and James used to did was drink wine. Let’s remember that Betty on “cardigan” mentioned that James got drunk, even said that they used to kiss in bars, maybe he loved alcohol, and he used to drink wine with Augustine. This even could a parallelism. By the way, as obvious, it means august ended soon, was a really fast month for Augustine.
'Cause you were never mine
August was a really short month cause it was the only month Augustine was with James, people says time pass fast when you are with people you love, and Augustine really loved James.
VERSE TWO
Your back beneath the sun
Another line that makes me thinks this was on the beach, cause the sun.
Wishin' I could write my name on it
Augustine wished to say James was hers, she wanted to be the official, she fell in love with him, even when him was just using her.
Will you call when you're back at school?
Augustine had this insecurity, James would still want her after vacations? Their “love” would last more than a month?
I remember thinkin' I had you
Deep in her heart, Augustine really through James loved her as well. She really through James would call her again.
CHORUS
But I can see us lost in the memory
August slipped away into a moment in time
'Cause it was never mine
And I can see us twisted in bedsheets
August sipped away like a bottle of wine
'Cause you were never mine
BRIDGE
Back when we were still changin' for the better
Wanting was enough
Why would they need anything more than love? Maybe cause James didn’t feel that, only Augustine.
For me, it was enough
Augustine just needed the bare minimum from him, she was happy just having him by her side
To live for the hope of it all
She held onto the good, believing he would change, believing he would choose her, but all along he wasn’t hers, he didn’t loved her even if he’d tried he couldn’t
Cancel plans just in case you'd call
She was okay on losing plans, in losing friends, all because she fell for James
And say, "Meet me behind the mall"
This is a little wordplay, it can also be heard as “Meet me behind them all”, that show us how Augustine was hidden by James. Also, behind the mall is a place where is usually alone, again here it comes the deal, Augustine was hidden.
So much for summer love and saying "us"
“Us” “Augustine and James” a partner that only existed on Augustine’s head.
'Cause you weren't mine to lose
Augustine, even when she gave everything of her to James, James never could give Augustine’s what she wanted, she loved him, but he didn’t loved her, he was just having fun.
You weren't mine to lose, no
CHORUS
But I can see us lost in the memory
August slipped away into a moment in time
'Cause it was never mine
And I can see us twisted in bedsheets
August sipped away like a bottle of wine
'Cause you were never mine
'Cause you were never mine, never mine
OUTRO
But do you remember?
Remember when I pulled up and said, "Get in the car"
For me, this is a reference of the “betty” lyrics, the song based on James perspective, when he says “She said "James, get in, let's drive"”, this could mean Augustine was the one who looked for James
And then canceled my plans just in case you'd call?
Back when I was livin' for the hope of it all, for the hope of it all
Augustine actually knew that she deserved better, but she couldn’t help wanting him to be the one, she really tried to keep James.
"Meet me behind the mall"
Again, even when Augustine really loved him, she knew that this was wrong, she knew James didn’t loved her as well. She accepted to be a secret because she knew that even herself would disapprove this situation if she was her friend.
Remember when I pulled up and said, "Get in the car"
And then canceled my plans just in case you'd call?
Back when I was livin' for the hope of it all (For the hope of it all)
For the hope of it all
For the hope of it all
(For the hope of it all)
(For the hope of it all)
CONCLUSION
Being honest, this is one of my favorites songs of all time (beside “cardigan” obviously). For me, this song talks about when you fell in love with someone you know it’s not the one, but you really want him to be the one, this songs talks about the guilt you feel accepting you deserve better, but you don’t want better, you want him.
And also, I really like this songs cause it talks about a infidelity but on the “other girl” perspective. Something that media doesn’t talk a lot about.
