In all honesty I feel really conflicted about this announcement. Like I trust hori gonna stick the landing. He didn’t dedicate 10 years of his life to this series for nothing. I’m just confused? I agree with you it makes no sense to introduce a new character when you’re about to end a series. That’s the main reason I’m thinking we’re getting a sequel series. Cause it just doesn’t make sense. Even if the mystery dude ends up being Tenko. It adds more questions than answers. As if hori ain’t got enough questions to answers in this series as it is.

But the thing is i don’t understand why he would create a sequel when he could just continue the story in this epilogue. I mean he can make this story as long as he wants. Unless there’s outside interference happening. I don’t see the point of a sequel unless there’s gonna be a time skip. Cause why create a sequel story that takes place at UA still. Just continue the story since it already takes place at UA. I dunno if I’m making sense or not 💀

I dunno. Mha has felt weird since chapter 423 to me. Like there’s this vibe. And idk it feels purposeful. Like I feel like horikoshi wants us to be like “ why does everything feel off?”. I think he’s setting some big stuff up and I’m intrigued. But like I’m also concerned cause only five chapters left makes me nervous. But like I said imma let him cook cause I really feel like he’s setting something up.

Idk anything about there being 10 movies. But if that’s true that’d be amazing. Though those are more like side stories than having much to do with the main plot.

Like there’s just too much to cover. Like I’m a believer that Tenko ain’t dead. And there’s just no way he getting brought back in 5 chapters. Like I believe that covering todoroki family, bkdk, togchacko, spinner, and shirakumo could be done in five chapters. But Tenko? This new guy? AFO? ( cause I refuse to believe we done with him) There’s no way they could fit into that. And there’s the whole thing of hero society being flawed and its effects on society.

Overall I’m confused but intrigued. But idk maybe he’ll be able to do it in 5 chapters. I did not mean to type this much I’m sorry 💀

Ok so I made a list of all the things that need to be addressed and all the plot lines that need to be concluded before mha ends.

• katsuki seeing a OFA vestige

• control your heart plotline

• bkdk and their whole mess. Seriously there’s so much that needs to be addressed with them alone.

• todoroki family plotline

• toga and ochacko plotline

• address AFO, Tenko, and the vestiges. ( because im gonna be honest I don’t think we’re done with any of these characters yet. Specifically, OFA and Tenko. )

• address spinner

• address introduction of the new character at the end of 425

• address whether or not shirakumo is ok

• address izuku being quirkless again. Will he still have embers by the end of the series?

• where tf izuku dad at ( I’m a dad for one truther).

• izuku has yet to address katsuki’s apology.

• what did izuku’s letter to katsuki say?

• address flaws of hero society and try to fix it.

• address izukus whole character cause there’s so much goin on with him and how he feels about everything.

That’s all I could think of up of. I honestly don’t know how all this could get addressed in 5 chapters. Half the things I listed would need multiple chapters to address them entirely. So, the only conclusion I can come to is that horikoshi is setting up for a sequel series. Either that or these last chapters will have more pages than chapters normally have in mha. I have faith that horikoshi will stick the landing with this series. Imma let him cook.
