Hey you, yeah you, the one scrolling through your phone in public to avoid conversation or awkward situations.

It’s okay that you’re scrolling. Don’t listen to those people that give you anxiety, because you don’t want to be apart of the conversation. Don’t worry about what they might think about you being on your phone the whole time, you’re doing the best that you can. I just want to remind you that you are not alone, even though right now you feel like it. If you don’t talk to those people at all - you are not weak. You are coping. You are getting stronger. talk to me about grantaire taking care of enjolras because enjolras is dreadful at self care. grantaire brushing/braiding his hair for him. grantaire reminding him to take a break from using his binder. grantaire cooking for him. grantaire sitting in the bubble bath with him. grantaire caring for his absent-minded partner.

yes enjolras is absolutely atrocious at self care but he’s constantly grating on r for not looking after himself and when r starts to get better at self care, it really begins to click with him how bad enjolras is with it?

so he like… begins to pick up on days when e can hardly keep his eyes open, and he makes him a coffee and a bath, then tucks him into bed

and on days when enjolras’ insomnia is bad, he stays up with him watching netflix despite barely being able to keep his eyes open, he doesn’t want to leave e on his own when it’s night-time and everything is more frightening at night 

grantaire brushing e’s hair and e getting so so relaxed, cuddling against him and stroking his face absentmindedly with a thumb while r runs the brush through his hair

e getting bad rashes and scratches from wearing his binder too much and r very gently rubbing savlon/soothing lotion into them
