if you misgender trans women & femmes who also identify as men & mascs by ignoring their identities as women and/or femmes, no matter what your reasoning for doing so is, you're transphobic. you're participating in transmisogyny. trans women & femmes are also allowed to be bigender, multigender, gender non conforming, butch, masc, men, boys, androgynous, gender neutral, genderfluid, and other gender identities along side being women and/or femmes.
these other identities do not cancel out our womanhood or femininity- these identities are not "opposites" of one another. denying a trans woman/femme their identity because they are a person of color and don't align with your idea of what a woman/femme should look like, you are also racist as hell, which is a huge part of transmisogyny.

UK petition: An independent evaluation of the Cass review on child gender services
[ Click here to sign ]
We believe that trans healthcare should be based on unbiased research that is peer reviewed. We think that the Cass review's findings have led to restrictive practices that are being directly felt by transgender children. We feel that an independent evaluation is necessary to ensure children aren’t being unduly harmed. We think that only through a transparent process can we guarantee fair access and treatment for trans children as well as restore faith in the current NHS services.
Deadline: 12 June 2025

'Tis the season to unpack some stuff about Christmas from a minority perspective:
Christmas is a Christian holiday. The fact that many celebrate it in an irreligious way (which is valid!) does not change its origins, connotations, symbolism, nor what it has historically meant for religious minorities.
The idea that Christmas is "secular" (read: neutral) is a product of Christian hegemony and the blindness of many in Christian countries to the permeation of Christianity as "default" culture.
When someone says they don't celebrate Christmas since it's a Christian holiday, it is not actually reassuring or helpful to say something along the lines of "oh well it's just a secular day of family & presents for everyone! So you can celebrate it too!"
Though the above statement is usually well-intentioned, it is often distressing to hear because it is untrue and is erasing our lived experiences. The reflexive effort to make Christmas universal is a cultural reverberation of the millennia-old evangelizing effort to make Christianity universal, and as such, can be very uncomfortable for religious minorities.
