do you not think it is at least a little alarming that afab people aren't allowed to make afab only groups though? there's legislation against it in australia.
why would I need to be in a group for only ""afab people""? what purpose would this serve? what could i possibly need a group for that would include all of the experiences only experienced by someone who was born with a vagina and the doctor looked at it and said "it's a girl!"
Do I need support from people who have given birth? Because that's remedied by saying "this is a support group for people who have given birth". I can go to one of those groups as someone who has given birth and get all the support I need from other people who have gone through the same.
Does my friend need a support group for people with endometriosis that provides them with community and resources? Because they can join one of those and get that. I can't, though, because I don't have endometriosis.
Or maybe you are thinking I might need a feminist group? In which case, tell why would I join a group like WoLF who would team up with organizations like The Heritage Foundation. Feminist groups that only allow in """""afab people""""" are not ones I want to join, either as a cis woman and especially not as a Butch lesbian.
Because you assume there is some sort of overarching sisterhood amongst """afab people""" that does not fucking exist in my experience as a cis Butch lesbian. If you showed me two groups of people, one including only cishet women and one that was mixed with queer cis and trans women, I 100% promise you I would be infinitely safer amongst the trans women. I would choose the group that includes trans women every. single. time.
So, no, I don't give a fuck about "afab people not being able to form groups" in the same sense that I don't give a fuck about white people not being able to form groups or straight people not being able to form groups. I personally can't think of a single reason to form a group that is only for "afab people" (and not, say, a condition or circumstance that only affects what you would call """afab people""") except to exclude trans women.
And that's a group I have absolutely zero interest in being a part of in the same way I have zero interest in being a part of a group that is only for white people. Can't think of a single issue only white people would rally around except racism. Can't think of a single issue that affects only """"afab people"""" that isn't actually a dogwhistle for transphobia.
If it's a support group for pregnant people or people who have had abortions, then you really don't need to state that you exclude trans women, you see what I mean, bud? If you say "this group is only for afab people", then what are you there for besides transphobia? There is no necessary condition of womanhood that includes all cis women and excludes all trans women, so what the fuck would this group be for besides transphobia?
Like, sorry you guys would rather team with the Heritage Foundation than recognize you're not a threat to the patriarchy in any way shape or form, but that sounds like a skill issue to me. Be a better feminist.
Like I really, really want you to sit there and come to terms with what the Heritage Foundation/WoLF alliance says. It's not just that your side has no problem throwing women like me under the bus (or what this says about how quickly you would work with the main organization that is trying to take away our reproductive rights), but that the main forces invested in preserving the patriarchy looked at trans exclusionary radical feminism and trans liberation and decided that terfs are less of a threat to them than the call for trans liberation.
So why exactly would I give a shit about """"afab only groups"""? I stand to gain more from trans liberation as a cis Butch lesbian than any of your lies and conspiracies and moral panics could possibly provide me.
And even The Heritage Foundation knows it.
But you know what's really funny about this ask to me?
You almost assuredly sent this to me because you saw the post I made that is taking off right now where I talk about my experiences with homophobia as a cis Butch lesbian and how I refuse to cede to bigots who don't want me to in bathrooms with them, and it made you so mad you had to send this.
You saw me talk about how my experiences with homophobia are what inspire me to stand with trans people, and it made you so mad that you had to whatabout me. I lived through a bathroom panic when I was growing up, and that's why I won't participate in one, and this makes you so fucking mad that you had to try and make me shut up about it.
Terfs are always pretending to care about cis Butch lesbians, but in my experience they hate it when we talk. We're supposed to shut up and stand there and let you use us as a weapon, and it's sooo inconvenient to you when we have our own life experiences and personal reasons for not supporting your bullshit, that you guys fly into a rage the second we contradict you.
And you wonder why I can't stand terfs.
Please watch Caelan Conrad's "Inside a Cult" or "Drop the T - The Deadly Consequences of Respectability Politics" if you want more reasons why every single self respecting cis gay person doesn't fuck with you guys.

Last week I dropped the Ultimate Homestuck Recap that summarized the webcomic that once dominated the internet, particularly Tumblr.
Today I bring you what it was all for, a video essay called Homestuck Is Good, Actually.
If you were wondering, "Homestuck, really? In 2025?" The answer is yes. This isn't ironic. It's 100% sincere. I love Homestuck. And I think you should, too. Let me tell you why. Let me tell you about… Homestuck.
It's not perfect by any means though, and brace yourself for some hot takes. But if you'd check it out or show any friends that might be interested, I'd be very grateful.

there is something so immensely frustrating about being repeatedly told by well-meaning people that there is a queer center, or queer group- and then you take a closer look, and queer seems to be defined as “everyone but trans women”. the first queer resource center I visited had free binders and multiple guides to using them, but literally no mention of tucking or gaffes.
there’s not really a point to this post. I’m just tired. I’m tired that the default assumption for the word “trans” in “queer spaces” seems to forget I exist.

Your MHA OC is so cute!!!!!! What's their quirk if u don't mind me asking?
im assuming ur talking about Zero/Mayhem!
her quirk is called Mayhem! Basically its like overhaul but instead it reconstructs anything in the worst way it can. Its a mutated quirk and not her original quirk which was like healing with water- her current quick is really volatile and intensifies based on her emotions and has lore with my other mha ocs but i've never posted any of them

Okay, you need to make sure you play this game at some point. Maybe not today or anything, because you’ll need about thirty minutes and a serious willingness to understand how it works, but - it’s so worth it. It’s basically an answer to our occasional frustration - why do assholes always come out on top? - and the beautiful thing about it is that not only does it explain how that happens, but also how we can change it.
“In the short run, the game defines the players. But in the long run, it’s us players who define the game.”
