sick joon drabble
thoughts of an extremely nauseous joonie..
he's exhausted and emotional from puking all day, and despite yoongi trying to feed him, he's basically refused all food after 3pm since he couldn't keep anything down. his stomach is roiling.
he's sitting on the bathroom floor, rocking back and forth a little and staying near the toilet.
hoseok and yoongi are both with him, hoseok rubbing his back and yoongi offering quiet words of comfort. seokjin is in the doorway, texting joon's mom to ask for advice since they're running out of ideas.
after a while, hoseok speaks. "you should go back to bed, joonbug."
namjoon inhales sharply, then shakes his head. everyone can see the tears of frustration in his swollen eyes, the way his lower lip juts out and shakes a bit.
"i know, baby. it's gonna be ok, though. you need to try and sleep," hoseok whispers, his voice breaking a little. he brushes a bit of hair off of namjoon's forehead, which just makes joon burst into heaving sobs.
"oh...my gosh, you poor thing," hoseok mumbles, pulling joon into a hug and rubbing his back. sliding his hand under joon's shirt and rubbing in gentle circles. namjoon continues to sob and starts hiccuping.
"jin-hyung, go get jungkook. we'll have him carry joon to bed," yoongi says, holding the glass of water with a straw to indicate to hoseok that namjoon should drink.
hoseok shakes his head. he wants joon to drink, but he knows he'll refuse and it'll just come right back up anyways.
namjoon keeps his head buried in hoseok's chest, his cries getting quieter. a few moments later, jungkook is leaning down next to him.
"come on, hyung. i'll carry you to bed."

slowly getting back into this fandom
sorry for my absence, i'd been falling out of the fandom for years and needed a healthy break, but recently i've been reminded of why i love this -- the human connection is so beautiful especially in groups like bts. close friendships and depending on others is wonderful.
hope to write a little, feel free to send any requests you have my way <3

Hey Everyone
Hey guys, I know I haven't posted in a while and I'm sorry.
I haven't been writing because I lost a lot of motivation and life has been kicking my ass.
I am working on part two of Last Christmas, but I can't say when it'll be out.
I am happy to help anyone with their work if they need an editor.
I love you all. Sorry to disappoint anyone who wants to read my work.
I am always active on here so feel free to send me a message or an ask and I'll get to it as soon as I can.
If you want to view all my work, I suggest doing it on my ao3, which is comfort_joonie.
Love you guys<3

For some reason I’ve been craving a Sick Yoongi with Seokjin caretaker… and you are one of my favorite BTS writers… and I was wondering if you’d be interested in writing one? If you want any details or anything, don’t hesitate to reach out. Also: no pressure at all to write this! I will personally beat any pressure out of this ask with a wooden spoon!
Something along the lines of a sick, tired, miserable Yoongi who just keeps burping up sick, Seokjin patiently waiting and cracking the occasional bad joke to get his mind off of it.
Hii, so I love this request but unfortunately I only write for Namjoon! Would you like me to remake this request to fit Namjoon and a caretaker of your choice? So sorry to dissappoint. :(

Editor?
I'm wondering if anyone would want to help me edit my multi-chapter fanfictions. I am writing them but I feel insecure about them and I would love some help (which I will credit in every post). I am currently on Mountain Standard Time (I live in Arizona, USA). I usually work in the evening. Dm or comment if you're interested!

Namjoon -- Sick at Comeback
Here it is! I hope you all like it. Leave a comment and let me know what you think. <3
Namjoon blows out a slow, deep breath as he puts his mic around his ear. He’s had a long day of feeling nauseous and feverish. “Joon?” Hoseok says, putting his hand on Namjoon’s back. “You feeling alright? You look pale…”
Namjoon nods. “I feel a little sick to my stomach…but I should be fine.” He starts to stand up and Hoseok puts a hand over his forehead.
“You feel so d*mn warm Joonie, maybe you should sit this one out?” Hoseok says. Jungkook walks into the room.
“Everything ok?” he asks, looking at Joon’s sweaty face. “Hyung?”
“He’s sick,” Hoseok says. “Poor thing has a fever.”
Namjoon’s eyebrows furrow. “I can do it,” he says.
“There’s no shame if you can’t–”
“--I can, though.” Namjoon uses his sleeve to wipe the sweat off his forehead.
“Well, we’re coming out now, okay?” Namjoon nods at Jungkook’s words and walks up the stairs to the main area behind the curtain. Suddenly, he feels a pain in his stomach and winces, Hoseok watching.
“Joon…”
“Hyung, it’s o-ok…” Namjoon stutters, putting his hair behind his ear. But it wasn’t ok, he felt like he could puke at any moment.
“Now, hyung~!” Jungkook said, grabbing Namjoon’s hand and pulling him out. The bright lights make Namjoon’s nausea double, and he puts a hand on Hoseok for support. He walks slowly to the front of the stage and listens to Yoongi’s speech before hearing the music start. “D*mn…” he mumbles as he tries to find his place.
When Taehyung starts singing, Namjoon’s body goes into autopilot and he does all the choreography he’s worked so hard on for months. His chest feels tight and he can’t breathe properly. When his verse comes on, he mumbles the lyrics enough to make the backtrack sound fuller, but the backtrack does most of the work for him. At the end of the take, he all but collapses onto the floor in front of the whole audience, facing his back to them with his head on his knees. He’s trying to catch his breath when he feels Jin’s warm hand on his back.
“Joonie, baby, what’s wrong?” Jin asks in a hushed tone. Namjoon feels a tear pricking at the corner of his eye.
“I…” he gasps for air. “I can’t…”
“Joonie, calm down.” All the members are gathered around the leader now.
Namjoon suddenly feels the urge to vomit and springs up to rush to the nearest toilet. His legs are shaky but they carry him to the bathroom. He’s too slow to shut the door before Seokjin is inside with him, and he barely manages to get the toilet lid up before he’s gagging and coughing up the little he could eat for breakfast. Seokjin rubs his back and tells him not to cry, but Namjoon is already sobbing from the embarrassment and pain of it all. He finally finishes and flushes the toilet, then shuts the lid and rests his face on it.
“Oh, Joonie, come on, that’s not sanitary. Let’s get you home…” Namjoon has started shivering from the fever. “Someone get him a blanket!” Seokjin calls, and a few moments later Hoseok returns with a blanket that Seokjin wraps Namjoon in.
“You poor thing,” Hoseok mutters, hugging Namjoon and letting him warm up a bit. “We should get him home,” Hoseok says.
“Bad news,” Jungkook says. “Since we’re on the left side of the stage and the door is on the right, the only way to get him across is to walk him across the stage in front of the fans…”
Namjoon’s breathing picks up with a panic, but Seokjin soothes him. “It’s okay Joonie. We’ll just be honest and tell the fans you weren’t feeling well. It’s ok. Just breathe…” Seokjin rubs circles into Namjoon’s back and uses his thumb to wipe the tears from Namjoon’s eyes.
“Taehyung is already on it,” Jungkook says. “He’s telling the fans that Namjoon has to go home. Can you walk, Joonie? A company car is waiting…”
Namjoon nods. “I need help, though…” Jungkook instantly links arms with Namjoon and Seokjin takes his other arm. They start walking up to the stage when Namjoon hears the crowd chanting,
“Kim Namjoon! It’s okay!” over and over again. When he walks into their sight, applause deafens him and he winces at the sound. Taehyung shushes the crowd. Namjoon can’t bring himself to show his face to the audience, so he turns away slightly so they can only see his hair and cheek. He walks slowly with everyone else as the crowd continues to chant his name, a bit quieter. He feels completely surrounded with love. The members help him into a company car, and Seokjin gets in with him.
“You five keep performing. I have the least lines and the most love for Joonie so I’ll go with him.”
“Most love for Joonie?” Jungkook’s jaw drops. “How could you say that when I’m right here and he’s my idol?”
“How can either of you say that when I’m here and he’s my soulmate?” Hoseok asks playfully. Namjoon smiles a little bit.
“We can discuss this later,” laughs Seokjin. “We’ll see you all in a few hours.”
All the members wave goodbye to Seokjin and Namjoon as the car pulls away. Only five minutes into the ride, Namjoon is sleeping on Seokjin’s lap.
Seokjin pets his hair. “You’re so cute like this Joonie…” Sometimes he wished his Joon would get sick more often so he could cuddle him like this. But he wouldn’t say that when Namjoon was feeling so bad.
Seokjin rubbed Namjoon’s back. It was an hour-long drive. He had plenty of time to go to sleep…but first..
Seokjin snapped a picture of Namjoon resting peacefully and sent it to the group chat before dozing off with his arm protecting Namjoon.

I'm Back + WIP
Hey guys, I'm so sorry for being gone for so long. I was dealing with some personal stuff. I might not write as much...but I'm back for now. I think I'm going to write a oneshot about Namjoon feeling nauseous before a comeback stage but poor baby has to power through anyways...is anyone interested in that? I know it's not a request and I'm really sorry but my motivation has been so low.
Love you all xxx

This is a prompt for you to write whatever ideas been on your mind for a little while but you haven’t thought to much about !
honestly been thinking about namjoon who is so nauseous that he can't get out of bed/leave the bathroom but can't get anything up either. I was thinking hoseok with him rubbing his back, trying to get him to eat or drink a little, or take some medicine but it just makes him feel worse. maybe jimin comes in too. after a while joon gets so exhausted and grumpy that he just asks everyone to leave so he can finally cry and feel a little less heavy >_<

I've just been thinking about this a lot lately, I've seen a lot of people act his way, including idols, when they get particularly hopeless or depressed. I'm not worried because he seems a little sad. I'm worried because he's acting different completely, seeming angry, impulsive, and not like his normal self. If you listen to his lyrics and the way he talks it seems like he went through a bad breakup or something like that, and if you compare how he acts now versus like...2019? there's a big difference. I go to the gym a lot and I can interpret from his instagram stories that his workouts are very push-the-limit painful and tiring type of stuff, as if he was going through something hard. I am worried something bad could happen for his health. and he is getting so much more hate compared to the other members.
I am really worried for him especially since he said he has dealt with depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation before...
I hope we can make him feel better for his birthday coming up and show our support for him and how much we love him.
:(
does anyone else feel really worried for namjoon lately? especially with his recent lives he seemed really sad and frustrated last time, and the death of his dog too. and he shaved his head which seems impulsive, as well as it seems like he's smiling a lot less these days and had a more serious look to him.
does anyone else feel like this? i'm really worry for him.
he has been getting a ton of hate recently and he says he's seeing it on instagram and it's clearly been hard on him :(

Last Christmas
a/n: sooo i honestly kind of hate this. it turned out a lot worse than i thought it would. i'm not sure if you guys are gonna like it or not, but i'd appreciate any feedback.
Anyways, the concept of the story is that Seokjin is a doctor at a local hospital and meets a friendly patient named Namjoon, who's a friend he could really use right now. And Namjoon could also use a friend during this time.
Seokjin wipes the leftover tears from his eyes as he hears a knock on the door of the breakroom. He’s exhausted from another long day of working in the emergency room – which basically means breaking bad news to people, and today, having a child patient die in front of him. It’s more than bleak, but he can handle it most days.
“Dr. Kim,” Seokjin’s boss enters the room. “One more for you. 25-year-old male. Terminal stomach cancer.” Dr. Han hands Seokjin the patient’s chart, Seokjin looking over it. This is the last thing he wants to do right now, tell someone they’re dying. But he has to. “Bay 204. His friend brought him in here. He’s been sick all week.” Seokjin nodded, exiting the room and making his way back to the emergency department, taking a deep breath before he opens the door to the patient’s room.
When he walks in, a tall, muscular man sitting on the bed looks up at him with blonde bangs in his face. He’s pretty, Seokjin thinks. Not in a conventional way, but in a peaceful sort of way, like a Greek statue or an old painting. He has tan skin and thick lips and a small nose. There’s a man on the chair next to him, with black hair and a tall frame. Seokjin glances down at the chart. Kim Namjoon is the patient’s name.
“We have your results…” Seokjin says hesitantly, but quickly gets his composure. “Unfortunately…we found cancer in your stomach.”
Namjoon looks shocked, his mouth slightly open. The friend speaks, “How treatable is it? He’s…I mean, we’re…”
Seokjin presses his lips together. “....it isn’t treatable.” He glances at Namjoon. He’s never seen anyone look so composed, yet devastated at the same time. “You have about ten months.”
“Ten months? Before what?” the friend asks, standing up.
“Ten months to live,” Seokjin says flatly, trying not to show his emotion. “We can give you some relief for your symptoms, though. Is there any family you want to call?”
Namjoon shakes his head. “I don’t have any family.” A tear runs down his cheek and he wipes it off.
“You know who he is, right?” the friend asks. “And you know who I am? He’s Kim Namjoon–”
“Hyung, stop,” Namjoon says softly.
“He’s the main lyricist for JYP. He writes all the songs for my group. He doesn’t have cancer. Your tests are wrong. Run them back again.”
“Jackson, stop,” Namjoon says, more forcefully.
Seokjin calmly puts a hand up. “I’m sorry…but our tests are correct. As I said, we’ll give you some treatment to ease your symptoms. We’ll get you some discharge paperwork and prescribe you some medicine.
Jackson suddenly looks at his phone, seeing a call come up. “Damn it Joon…I have to go. I’ll call you as soon as I can, okay? Drive safe.” Namjoon watches Jackson leave and turns to Seokjin,
“I’m sorry for him. He’s a little…protective.” Seokjin can see that Namjoon is trying not to completely break down crying, but he’s holding it together.
“No worries, Mr. Kim. I’ll ask for your discharge paperwork.” Seokjin catches himself glancing at Namjoon’s pretty features for a moment too long.
“It’s just Namjoon. Are you going to be my nurse when I come in for…for the treatments that’ll relieve my symptoms?”
Seokjin shook his head. “That’s not my job. Unless you come to the ER, we won’t see each other again.” Namjoon nods in understanding and Seokjin leaves the room. As soon as the door shuts, he can sense Namjoon has probably broken down. He feels horrible leaving him in the room alone, but he needs to ask for the discharge. When he comes back, Namjoon’s head is turned to the side and his nose and lips are red from crying.
“Hey…some bad news. The ER is really backed up today, so it’s gonna be a few hours. My shift is ending—”
“Stay with me,” Namjoon says suddenly before he can stop himself. Seokjin needs sleep. But he’s not going to leave someone so young and scared by himself in the hospital with no one.
“Yeah. I’ll stay,” Seokjin says, sitting down on the chair Jackson was in. “What do you want to talk about?”
Namjoon sniffles. “Anything. I just don’t want to be alone right now. I don’t even have someone to drive me home.”
“You don’t have a car?”
“I don’t have my license,” Namjoon says. “And Jackson…is my only friend.” Seokjin winces in sympathy. He understands. More than Namjoon does. He doesn’t have any friends at all.
“I understand,” Seokjin says. Namjoon laughs a little. “Honestly, I do.”
“You’re too handsome to not have any friends,” Namjoon says bluntly. Seokjin is taken aback a bit, but smiles.
“I’m not too handsome for anything. Honestly, I don’t have any more friends than you do,” Seokjin says truthfully. Namjoon’s eyes look into his.
“Maybe we can be friends.”
Seokjin smiles a little. He’d love to get to know the lyricist for JYP. He’d love to get to know anyone at this point. “Yeah. I could use a friend right about now.” It was true. He’d never been lower in his life, falling into a deep depression since his husband’s death a year ago. He wasn’t going to dump that on Namjoon, though.
“Tell me about yourself, Namjoon. What’s your job like?”
Namjoon nodded. “I’m given a concept and a rough draft of a melody for a song…and then I add the lyrics. I write them myself, and then I record a demo for the band to listen to.”
“You can sing?” Seokjin asks. His husband used to sing for him. It made his chest hurt to even think about.
“No. I rap, and I use autotune to help myself out on the vocals,” Namjoon says.
“You rap?”
“Yeah. I used to be in the hip-hop scene when I was a teenager. I was really into it. I had some fans, too. But…” Namjoon paused.
“What made you quit?” Seokjin asked curiously, searching Namjoon’s eyes.
Namjoon smiles sadly. “People didn’t like me. I’m…” he pointed to his face. “I’m ugly. And I was kind of chubby back then. There’s only so much someone can handle.”
Seokjin frowns. “I don’t think you’re ugly, Namjoon.” Namjoon shakes his head.
“No, I am. I don’t really care anymore. There’s nothing I can do about it.” Seokjin can tell Namjoon cares, but he doesn’t say anything about it. “What about you?” Namjoon asks. “What’s your job like?”
“I just come in every day…consult with patients, give back results, perform some simple procedures like stitches or staples,” Seokjin says. “It’s not interesting. Not like your job.”
“No…my job can be pretty boring. And it’s lonely. I usually sit in the studio by myself all day long and then come back to my apartment.”
“Do you live alone? No wife or anything?” Seokjin asks.
Namjoon shakes his head. “Nobody. I have a dog, though. Monie. I’m always happy to see him.” Namjoon pauses. “What about you? Are you married? Have kids?”
Seokjin shakes his head. “I’m not married. I live by myself, too.”
“You should come over to my house sometime. You seem like you need a friend,” Namjoon says. Seokjin looks down at his lap.
“Yeah…I really do.” He waits on a response for a few seconds, but nothing. He looks back up at Namjoon, but he looks like he’s falling asleep. It’s understandable. It’s nighttime now, and Seokjin is exhausted too. Before he knows it, he’s falling asleep in his chair.
He wakes up a couple hours later to his phone going off with a message telling him the paperwork is ready. He quietly leaves the room and comes back with Namjoon’s discharge paperwork, gently waking him up. “Namjoon? I have your paperwork. You can go now,” he says softly.
Namjoon sits up. “Oh. Ok.” He looks over his paperwork. “Can I get your number, though?” Seokjin blushes a little. “Not like that,” Namjoon laughs a little. “Just because we both need a friend right now,” Namjoon says, and Seokjin immediately feels embarrassed for thinking anything else of it.
“Yeah, of course. It’s 4-1-2-3-2-6-9,” Seokjin says. Namjoon nods.
“Do you need a ride home?” Seokjin asks.
“No, it’s fine. I’ll call a taxi. I’ll see you later, hopefully?” he asks, and Seokjin smiles.
“Of course. We’ll talk again tomorrow.”

new fic
I'm thinking of coming with a new fic that would be less sickfic based and more angst/plot/friendship/romance based between two members, one being namjoon.
Who would you guys like to see? (Yoongi is off the table as I already have him for another fic.).
It would be an AU where x member is a doctor and Namjoon is a patient with an illness at the hospital he works at.
If you guys want to ask more or give me suggestions, my inbox is always open!
