I'm getting real pissed at the shitty "criticism" being leveled at Halsey. No other artist has captured my feelings of being a woman in a world that denies your pain, mocks your ambition / achievements and refuses to see your humanity.

i'm sure other people have talked about this but man. ling yao's turn from comedic relief to a serious character being lan fan's injury. him taking off his jacket– gold, decorative, happy-go-lucky– to bandage her wound. and for the rest of the series he wears black, because once lan fan is injured he finally starts taking the threat of amestris seriously.
