just had to read the word "transmasc privilege" with my own eyes.
Can you all just stop trying to convince the TERF's that you're one of them, please? Hating trans men and transmasculine people and trying to pretend they're the trans people who "really" deserve to be oppressed (unlike you) is just you being evil. Like. sorry. The cis TERFs aren't actually going to let you join their club just because you throw other trans people under the bus. They are in fact gonna laugh in your face.

Elgar'nan and Ghillan'nain cut banter during the fight with two dragons

Most likely, these lines were cut because it was decided that Elgar'nan should first appear here, not in Minrathous as it was before. So the usual banter without animations or effects was rewritten and remade into a cutscene that we see in the game.
Ghillan'nain: Clouded hearts. Shadowed by fear, eclipsed by doubt. Rook: Ghilan'nain! Elgar'nan: You struggle fruitlessly, when you could kneel. If the player saved Minrathous and met Elgar'nan. Previously the first meeting with him depended on the city choice. Rook: And Elgar'nan! If the player saved Treviso. Rook: I'm guessing you're Elgar'nan!
Ghillan'nain: The ones from the fortress. Ghillan'nain: The ones that destroyed my Archdemon! Elgar'nan: You shall have your vengeance, my sister. Elgar'nan: Fen'Harel's last piece on the board, ours for the taking.
Elgar'nan: The Dread Wolf once commanded armies. Elgar'nan: Loyal warriors who lived by his command and died with his name on their lips. Elgar'nan: All dust. All forgotten. Elgar'nan: He will lead you to your doom, as he led countless others.
Elgar'nan: You owe Fen'harel nothing, for he has given you nothing. Elgar'nan: He harbors secrets like no other, for he has little else to comfort him. Elgar'nan: He has not shown you the true power of the dagger. Elgar'nan: He has not offered knowledge of the prison that holds him. Elgar'nan: All this and more I would gladly share. In exchange I ask only for your devotion.
Ghillan'nain: The world has grown thin-blooded. Its skies empty. Its spirits weak. Ghillan'nain: The Dread Wolf's Veil choked all glory from this place! Ghillan'nain: Once we found our new empire, I will bring us closer to the glories of old.
Ghillan'nain: I was once young. Foolish. I crafted creatures for beauty or grace. Ghillan'nain: But elegance did not suffice. There was always a lack! A complexity even I could not reach! Ghillan'nain: We will have the dagger. We will release the blight. Ghillan'nain: And I will unlock the final mysteries of blood, and flesh, and bone!
Ghillan'nain: The dragon fails! Elgar'nan: Its weak flesh could never substitute for your masterwork. Elgar'nan: When we are finished here, we shall gather for you the makings of the finest Archdemon yet.
Elgar'nan: (Snarls) Ghillan'nain: You were correct, Elgar'nan. These creatures fail our needs, again and again. Elgar'nan: It seems the way of this pale world. Elgar'nan: For now, patience. When retribution comes, it will be all the sweeter.
Elgar'nan: I see the Dread Wolf's game. I know his moves and the pieces he has arrayed against me. Elgar'nan: When next we meet, Rook, you will not be so fortunate.

I felt an insatiable need to draw TWoTL - the fall was just a metaphor - post Dragon take-down.
Wet, blood-drenched, bone-tired murder shower.
Heavy, fleshy bodies and filth.
Monsters in the aftermath of their adrenaline, repairing each other.
And like a fucking genius @suntosirius wrote the most perfect fic for it.

I think people need to stop getting so hung up on people talking about their oppression and "this implying that [I] have a privilege I don't have" or "this challenges a privilege I believe you have, which for some reason means you can't have any problems". I've seen this sort of thing in multiple instances, and it always fucking distracts and detracts from the point, and people's understanding and activism for rights always gets pushed backwards.
Monosexism (and biphobia as well, tbh). Mspec people wanted a way to talk about the specific way that bigotry manifests against queer people when they experience attraction to more than one gender and the conversation got COMPLETELY derailed and silenced by the cries that "this implies gay people have privilege over bi people". Like bitch, no one said that!!! That's a brand new sentence!
Allosexism and allonormativity. Aspec people wanted a way to talk about the specific way that bigotry manifests against queer people when no attraction is experienced and the conversation got COMPLETELY derailed and silenced by cries that "this implies gay (and bi) people have privilege over ace and aro people". No one said that!!! That's a brand new sentence!
Transandrophobia. Trans men and transmascs wanted a way to talk about the specific way that bigotry manifests against queer people when masculinity and/or malehood is a part of the final equation and the conversation got COMPLETELY derailed and silenced by cries that "this is ignoring your MALE PRIVILEGE that you clearly hold over all women".
The attacks against transandrophobia are ongoing, but when's the last time any of you saw monosexism, allosexism, or allonormativity used? Probably years ago or only in very niche spaces with few people in them. Because people would rather hold onto a sense of power than deconstruct the hurt in our world. Being able to talk about the ways in which we hurt and suffer are A) very important mechanisms to processing that trauma, and B) very important ways in which we are able to challenge and deconstruct those ideals. By getting hung up on implications you are making up, we are going backwards. We are allowing those same systems to continue to exist all because

Honestly, the more I see people crying over the term transandrophobia, the less and less I believe in an all-encompassing male privilege because the more I have to think about and introspect on things, and the more I realize how simplistic and unrealistic that is.
"Men are paid more than women"
Well, only to a certain extent once you add in other factors. Men of color are paid more than women of the same race, but they're not paid equal to each other, and they don't make more than white women.
Can you lump that in as just "male privilege" when white privilege specifically supersedes and overwrites that?
And are we ever gonna be ready for a conversation about how Asian is too broad of a category in these discussions to do any work?
https://www.workplacefairness.org/what-you-need-to-know-about-the-gender-wage-gap/
"Men have the power to rape women and get away with it"
Well, only to a certain extent once you add in other factors.
Except for violence against indigenous women, most rape is intraracial. Yet a variety of studies have found a variety of findings, including that black suspects are more likely to be reported and arrested and that while more white suspects of white victims may be arrested more often, black suspects of white victims are more likely to be charged, face more serious charges, and are most likely to face prison time.
"It's easier to get hired if you're a man"
Well, maybe not if you don't have a white sounding name, though
https://www.npr.org/2024/04/11/1243713272/resume-bias-study-white-names-black-names
Etc., etc., etc. And all these focus on racial issues and don't touch on trans ones because, as y'all should be well aware, there simply aren't many studies on being trans or transphobia in general. We simply don't have the sources for much of this shit.
But when you sit there and complain "waaah, male privilege, though!!! it negates the transphobia you think you're experiencing!!!" all I hear is that you're ignorant and don't want to learn or listen. Because you can't know shit like this and truly believe that being a man gives you the same male privilege as cisperihet able-bodied white men have.
It fucking doesn't. That is the fucking point of intersectionality.
So yeah. Trans men have a different experience than trans women have a different experience than non-men transmascs have a different experience than non-women transfems have a different experience than nonbinary people with genders have a different experience than nonbinary people with no gender and on and on and on, also impacted by race, disability, weight, etc. And you don't break down these systems by ignoring this very simple fact.
What does it achieve for you to be pedantic and cry about specific terminology describing experiences that even you admit exist. Let's say transandrophobia is a pet peeve of a term for you, like the way some folk prefer using -misia terms over -phobia terms. What are you achieving by forcing your pedantry on other people, besides silencing them and derailing a conversation? Is your personal annoyance more important than what is actually being said?
Is it more important to you that you personally be crowned Right About Everything and Always Speaking Perfectly and Making No Mistakes Because You Are the Best or is it more important to you to be able to deconstruct harmful systems and build a better world for everyone?
And let's say you are right and objectively, by some godlike standard, transandrophobia is a redundant term. [A) Does that matter? We have redundant terms all the time. ???] Are you going to turn away imperfect allies and have no one? No one is perfect, not even you. Do you want things to stay the same so you can stand alone on your pedestal? Or do you wanna live in a world where we're all allowed to exist without being beaten down?
If the term or the conversations bother you, then don't involve yourself in them. Move the fuck on. Engage when you can do net good about something. Stop perpetuating negativity and anger and despair. Nope out of the stuff that isn't for you. Not every space or discussion needs to be about you. Opt opt when it doesn't and opt in when it does and you want to.
But please, I am begging you, work on abandoning your overly simplistic black and white view of the world or we're never gonna get anywhere. Because it's always more complicated than you think. 2 + 2 = 4 is only true in a base 10 system of our current definitions. Broaden your perspective and understand fact is subjective and your truth is not the only truth.

Something that never ceases to amaze me is this interaction that happens online hundreds of times daily.
User A: "Hi. I am looking for [media] recommendations. I personally really like [subgenre A], and also [trope F] and [trope G]. I do really not care for [subgenre B] and [subgenre C]. I really liked [media X]. But I absolutely hated [media Y]. Is there anything you can recommend me."
User B: "You should absolutely read/watch/play [media Y]."
User C: "Have you tried [media X]?"
User D: "My personal favorite is [media example of subgenre B]."
When someone asks for recommendations they do not want to hear necessarily which one was your favorite, but what examples you can think off that fits their parameters.
And when they say "I did not like XY", do not recommend XY to them. OMG. Why is this so hard?

Call a payment processor to express your discontentment with the limitations they impose on adult content and websites like Steam, Itchio and others.
Show proof of call. Like a screenshot with the number called and the call time.

Please head over to my bluesky to see the uncensored image, links and call lists!
Go to stop-paypros neocities for more information.
A few of my own words about the situation:
I want to help even in a small part to support the cause. As an artist this has sincerely caused me a lot of stress in the last couple of weeks (if you don't count the small ways in which it has always loomed over mine and other creator's heads for years).
Thousands of people have already called and the mounted pressure HAS produced reactions - If you want to be free on the internet to consume and produce adult content responsibly without having puritanical, multi-millionaire corporate heads trying to dictate how you should do so, this pertains to you. If you have ever had a game, piece of art, movie or comic that you really enjoyed pulled from shelves or an website for no apparent reason but the adult and LGBT content present in it, this pertains to you. If you feel frustrated by the progressively smaller pool of websites and places online in which you can share experiences and relate to others about sensitive topics like abuse, drug use, or death, this pertains to you.
