Quote
Jane Austen was a feminist before the term was even coined. Writing novels from a women’s perspective about female issues of love, marriage, money and social power is why we can relate so well to her today.

Even before the show aired on Sunday night, Melissa McCarthy knew that she’d be making history at the MTV Movie Awards. For the first time ever, a woman would be winning MTV’s Comedic Genius Award, and it was McCarthy who’d be receiving the honor.
Fittingly, in ways both spoken and unspoken, McCarthy used the occasion to prove how much of a trailblazer she really is — when it comes to comedy, but also to red carpet fashion.

Crown shyness
What an interesting word. :D
“Crown shyness is a phenomenon observed in some tree species, in which the crowns of fully stocked trees do not touch each other, forming a canopy with channel-like gaps.“
How do the trees know not to touch each other?
Nobody knows though it’s been studied since the 1920′s.
